I could follow it if they are cute together as themselves. I kind of doubt Ben will act like Pat irl. Unfortunately, so many shows start off seeming really up my alley only to crash. Most recently, I started watching Dinosaur Love, and I thought--how cute. I love the cute guy who's traumatized by the ex, and the tough guy in insta-love saving him. But the former either can't act or had super bad directing because I can't feel any of his fear or sadness in episode three. So disappointing.

Yeah, that's part of the reason I feel like there will be a second season. I wonder if this went straight by the novel.

Both JaabJen and JengPat had one hot scene each. Of course, there were more love scenes for Jeng and Pat, but they lacked the passion of the car scene. That scene was what I would expect for the two guys to feel after all that waiting. It should have been the first time they slept together. (They were so hot for each other, they were ripping their clothes off in the car, but when they get home, we get old-man- and-woman-missionary-after-ten-years- of-marriage sex.)

I couldn't even tell when they slept together for the first time after getting back together. Was it when Jeng took off Pat's shirt? (Which would mean they were just sleeping in the same bed.)

I know, but what was the other time skip? (You said, Especially after 2 times skips.)

Yes. Definitely. I guess we were supposed to figure that out because Dunk's hair was pushed away from his face.

I wanted more passion for the slow burn we got.

Was the second time skip between birthdays?

My biggest gripe is that for all the waiting we only got one moment of real passion and chemistry, and that was in the car. And we didn't even get it again when they got back together. Pat was drunk too often. Was he an alcoholic? The SONG! I could barely watch that scene, omg.
Lol, you are so right about the weird scenes...I was sitting there trying to recall if Pat and Jeng's birthdays were close together. Was that supposed to represent time passing? What the heck was wrong with Jeng's mother?
Thank God Pat finally started calling him "P'Jeng" instead of Khun Jeng. It was about time.
Even if they give us a season two for Jaab and Jen, I'm angry that they left out a bunch. Surely they'll show us how they reunited.

I felt like it could have been, too. All the work-related stuff dragged it down. They should have focused on the May/Dec relationship when they got together, and they also should have given us the JaabJen relationship.

I've gone on and on about Jeng and Pat and my feelings about the lack of passion they should have had, so I'll just comment on Jaab and Jen. It appeared Jaab was flying to visit Jen, who, I guess, was still in Japan. Jaab said Jen wasn't like Pat and just ghost you after a breakup--which I took to mean they got over their misunderstanding. Whether they are friends or more, i don't know. All that plus the dad throwing away the resignation and the really mediocre ending made me wonder if there's a second season planned.

I would rather they have come together passionately (think car scene) and the conflict been about them maneuvering around their age gap.

I didn't like the way Pat's reasons were belittled in this episode. I thought he had a pretty good reason for leaving, and nothing changed about that. The only thing Pat really owed an apology for was what he said in this episode about Jeng arranging the stuff that was happening currently. They shouldn't have him turn around and act like he didn't have a right to be angry for two years.

I'm not going to blame the actor. His biggest problem was the faces he was making. If the director didn't want Pat to be so pouty and immature, he should have said so. He's looking over every scene. I also feel that Man and Ben had chemistry but the show didn't utilize it like it should have. (or the plot) I think you have to ask yourself what attracted you to the show in the beginning. What made you say, Wow, this is going to be good!? For me, it was the older man and younger man promising a sizzling coming together...eventually. We got it in the car, but that's all.

Personally, I would like the Jen/Jaab thing...at least, I think I would. And what's the dad going to do about the resignation? He threw it out.

I hope he sings better than Pat did!

I read that with the love scenes, they filmed the car one first and because of that, the rest were a piece of cake.

I think they should have made it more passionate. I mean, the car scene was hot. But all the other scenes were mediocre. They didn't even get hot again at the end. A show that's so slooooow to get the guys together should have more heat when they finally do. I was thinking...older man, young guy, all this attraction--that's what got me watching. But they only had that one moment of real passion, and that was disappointing to me. Lol, when they decided to "start over," I thought---Noooo...not another ten episodes!

Okay, I've watched it all. Here's my opinion: There's a lot of secondary embarrassment in this show. There whole secondary couple thing was for nothing unless they are giving them a series. I mean, wtf? Did that mean they are just friends? Or was that supposed to be that they're together and Jaab flies out to Japan every so often and we didn't even get to see it?
They should have said Ae's baby looked like Beam.
I feel like we didn't get enough passion at the end. Too much cute, not enough passion.
What about the dad? What did that mean? He threw away Jeng's resignation letter, so what's he going to do? I think there's going to be a season 2.
