Two beautiful leads and very sweet, but it just makes me want more!

Wonder if the author planned a second book? Because that's probably the only reason we'd get a second season.

I've put that one on hold for a while hoping to be able to watch the rest at once. But, yeah, it's good.

I wondered if they messed up the novel. It's like with Pat's dad...pretty unnecessary for the show, but probably a good rounding out of the novel. The show just didn't need it. Why not take that time and do something with Jaab/Jen? I'm interested to know the differences between the novel and the series. I hate the 2 year gap thing. Did they not do that in the novel? As an author myself, I'd be so angry if a screenwriter changed things like that.

I feel Jen and Jaab deserve an entire season for their story. This has just taken them back to square one again. We don't even understand Jaab's motivation for backing off from Jen, etc. Evidently he dated someone else to try to forget him--event though Jen had broken up with his bf. Anyway, if they rush all that in ep 12, it's going to suck. As for Pat and Jeng, I took it as Jeng being controlling and not talking to Pat like he should have, and Pat being hurt and feelngJeng didn't believe in him. That on top of all the other sh*t drove Pat away. I can understand that--it's plausible, which is more than we can say for a lot of bl breakups. But the previews say 2 Years Later, and I hate that. (Whew. On top of what La Pluie did last week, my shows have really put me through the wringer lately.)

Okay, as unhappy as I am about recent events, I can't be too angry about it because it's VERY plausible. Jeng can't just get rid of his control freak thing overnight. And Pat has a right to be hurt by him not believing in him enough to let it be. The biggest thing I'm mad about is the "2 Years Later" in the previews for next week and the fact that Jaab and Jen are back at square one. At this point, we don't really have enough history or motivation to wrap up their story. They need a Season 2.

I wouldn't warn a person off it. It has its merits. I'm enjoying it. They've just spent too much time on some things and not enough on others.

Great, just great. Well, I hope that's for Jaab and Jeng and they resolve it with a season 2.

I agree that Pat has a right to be hurt. I also agree that, on the whole, it's a good show. The main problems with it are, first, that they have given too little time to the secondary couple--so much so that they really can only make up for it with a second season. No way a few scenes in the final episode are going to hack it. Second, too much time was given to Pat and Put and resolving all that. These are long episodes. They could have had Pat making his epiphany about that relationship much more quickly. Third, imo, all the stuff with Pat's parents could have been left out. While I'm sure it rounded out the novel, it isn't necessary for the series. And what was the point of bringing in that girl to be Pat's friend early on then making her go away until Ep. 11? Was it just to set up the whole office gossip thing?

That's why I'm so pissed off about the 2 Years Later thing. This really couldn't be resolved before then? I agree that Pat, although immature and overly emotional, isn't a bad character. I think he and Jeng have chemistry, and I think what Jeng did was wrong and can understand Pat's hurt.

They always do this to us--show us this great trailer that gets us all excited and then eff it up. I expected something better from A Boss and a Babe, too. Honestly, I felt the exact same way with Cutie Pie. It was a pretty good show, all in all, but after the preview I was hoping that Zee's character would eat his words (saying he doesn't love him and calling him an Annabelle) and fall for NN's character as the show progressed.

They deserve a season two. There is no way they can wrap this up satisfactorily in a few scenes. They have basically taken them back to square one.

I actually do understand Pat's reasons here. Ever since Jeng told Pat he liked him, Pat felt like he was getting special treatment from Jeng and even doubted the reasons for his hiring. Jeng had just assured Pat that he was hired for his merit, and then he turns around and does something that proves he wasn't sure Pat's idea would succeed. He should have talked to Pat about it. Like, "Pat, I think your idea is great. But, given our limited funds, I'm worried about it. Do you think I should put some of my money into it? After all, we're risking the entire team.'

I think they have chemistry. I'm angry about a bunch of other things.

2 YEARS LATER???!!!!

I'm not sure. I don't think so, but you can find parts of episodes that are subbed. Look up GMMT Von Youtube. The original episodes are live and long, so I don't think anyone ever goes in and subs them, but interesting parts are taken out, discussed, and subbed, like the games they play and stuff.
