All I can figure is he has it in his head that he and Tai are destined to be together due to Tai saving him somehow. (Is this a Thai thing? If someone saves you when you are young, you are meant to be in love?) So, Lomfon has been poo-pooing the whole soulmate thing, refusing to believe Tai could be Patt's soulmate, but now that he has experienced it, he's using it as proof that he and Tai are meant to be. (Like, maybe Lomfon could hear Patt only because Patt was talking to Tai.)
I thought they would have made truth and dare game little bit interesting 🤔
Which got a little too nostalgic and mushy, in my opinion. And why did Tai have to listen in? I was thinking, Tai probably regretted suggesting Patt quit giving Nara the cold shoulder when Patt suggested a private one-to-one with her that was taking so long that Tai had to go see what was up.
they are definitely going to pull a 'flashback' and tell us what Patts and Lomfon talked about. and of course,…
I think Lomfon told Patt that he could hear both him and Tai during the rain and that he believes that Tai is his soulmate. This has pissed off Patt. Judging by the previews for the next episode, he told Lomfon to stay away from his bf.
Probably my least favorite episode. They just really want to drag out this trip to the mountains as long as possible,…
I'm a hurt/comfort lover, so I was really disappointed at how they handled that whole mountain situation. I get that it was evidently the rainy season and stuff could wash out fast, but it just didn't seem enough to explain the freak-out. Tai literally had been gone no more than an hour. They all could have jumped in the truck and found him while he was still climbing the mountain, but no--Patt had to walk it. Tai should have gotten lost. They should have been worried about darkness, wild animals, venomous snakes. You know, darkness falls and they still haven't found him, etc. They should have tried for realistic and haveTai tie his sweater around his hips or, even better, put it over his head to shield him from the sun. How in the heck did he make it that far wearing those slip-on shoes? Evidently, all Tai needed after the sunstroke and the fall was to lie on the ground with his hand in the water, taking a snooze, because after that he was fine. Oh, except for the ankle which Patt didn't even take a look at until they got to the foothills. The search just wasn't harrowing enough for my liking. The whole catastrophe ended with a flop, and Tian's excellent scene crying was wasted because it was a completely overblown reaction to the situation.
I can understand Tai's brother warning Patt. But an ex-girlfriend telling the current partner things like "I won't…
My take? Was she ever really bad? Not that I particularly liked her, but I thought she had a good reason for breaking up with Patt, and she was in love with him and wanted to try again. A little pushy of her to go on the trip, but she didn't know that Patt had met his soulmate. That was all Patt's fault because when she came to his office and said she wanted to get back with him, he didn't give her an answer. So, it's not like she did an about face, BUT I agree that her going from broken-hearted to concerned was a little too mature for most people in that situation. It was good they showed her crying later, but that was also pretty boring and took away from the people we really wanted to see.
I think tonight a little bit too much time was given to Nara. I do appreciate her talk with Tai but the scenes…
Yes, they give us unnecessary scenes such as Nara's long crying jag after talking to Patt and Bow and what's-her-name dancing, and then don't show important stuff like Patt explaining to Tai about the kiss and Tai explaining to Patt that it wasn't so much the kiss but the fact that he thought Nara was a better fit for Patt, not to mention why the truck couldn't pick them up in a timely manner and why Tian felt he should have figured out Tai's weird reasoning for going up the mountain.
Wait,I thought Tai was low key crushing on the girl ex too in ep 7?
That was a weird scene. My explanation for it is that it was supposed to show that Tai really admired Nara when he met her, so when he found out her ex was Patt, it gave him reservations about whether he or Nara was a better fit for Patt.
I forgot to watch Ep 8, so the beginning of 9 was confusing. So now I'm watching Ep 8 and it's no less confusing.…
Those are basically the things I commented about. Tian's reasoning for his guilt didn't make sense. (Unfortunately, because it would have been a great scene--the acting was fantastic other than for the lack of tears in all that crying--if there had been a good reason for it. Like if Tai had been in real danger--that explanation about it being the rainy season didn't cut it for all the hysteria.) The poor writing seems to be the problem with the majority of shows. They are put out too fast and need a good looking-over for these issues before release. Tai's determination to get clarity on the mountain, the lack of a good explanation for the danger and for a lot of other things (such as how the eff Patt carried Tai back up that hill he fell down and then all the way down the mountain on his freaking back, and why it took the people picking them up so damn long when Patt literally walked up there in no more than a couple of hours) left us all scratching our heads and took away from the story.
I just rewatched this series for the first time since it aired, and I've bumped up my rating. There are so many pleasurable things about the show. Honestly, if I could choose three things to change about it that would improve it greatly, they would be Kamol's tattoo (this does not fit his body. Maybe just a pair of tiger's eyes on his upper back), Kamol's facial expression in episode one where he is whipping Kim (honestly, they needed a bdsm consultant for this scene, but if we could at least make him look dangerous and turned-on rather than comical, that would help a lot), and get rid of the cheesy mafia music. The rest of the music is fine, but substitute that shit with something else!
I don't think I need to list the things Jeng's been going through over the past year, and I'm sure in just the past few days he's been up and down about his hopes to be with Pat. Jeng has just had enough, and his brother's sympathy undid him. (Unlike Pat, who has several good cries this year. Still, well acted cry imo, and it's nice his parents support him.)
When was the part where Jane got the idea that Jaab was interested in someone and decided to back off so Jaab could go for it? I can't remember, but I think it was very early on, around the time that Jaab was just trying to be with Jane all the time. That part makes me think that Jane was actually clueless that Jaab had liked him that way. Jane knew that Jaab was interested in someone, but he didn't know he was that person.
