THIS EPISODE WAS LIFE! The moment Shinwoo squished Tae Kyung's cheeks I was smiling and giddy like a kid on christmas morning. JESUS SHINWOO IS A SWEETHEART. I swear to god Shinwoo was super proactive. He was patient, kind, supportive and totally open. He opened the door way for communication and let Tae Kyung take his time to start to heal. Shinwoo is STILL trying to step back and let Da On act and try to fix things for the sake of Tae Kyung. TALK ABOUT SELFLESS! Shinwoo is honestly one of a kind gem and the friendships portrayed in this drama is on a spiritual level. Shinwoo was still giving one last chance to Da On to make things right when he confronted him in the hallway but I'm concerned since he said "If you don't go, I won't give up on him for you." Shinwoo is one of the most selfless characters, besides Nam Goong, I've ever seen. The classroom scene was adorable with the way he was trying to protect Tae Kyung from pain when he grabbed his face and when he brought him to his home to distract him and share his own experience and pain. If Shintae is not endgame I'm so done with the series. I won't hate it, but it'll be a HUGE disappointment.
This is giving me anxiety at this point guys. Some people are thinking that now that Da On knows that So Hee sent the pic, that he'll regret his decision and get the courage to go out with Tae Kyung while Shinwoo will step back. On one hand I can see this potentially happening since the whole show thus far has been centred on TK's feelings for Da On and THEIR relationship while the show as flirting with the idea of the Shintae ship. I'm personally still for Shintae, but this is making me nervous since there's only 4 episodes left and based on the preview for next week it seems that TK isn't over his feelings for DO yet so squishing Shintae ship in the 4 episodes seems unlikely which royally sucks since I was totally down for that ship.
With the keychain now resolved, which was a bit of a let down for me, it seems less and less likely that Shintae will be a thing which I was SHIPPING FOR. BUT there might be some hope yet for Shinwoo since he DID warn DO that once he goes after TK now he's not gonna let go now. I think rightfully so that he deserves to go after TK now since he gave DO a dozen more opportunities and I don't seen DO as a good fit for TK after all this. And is it just me or does it seem that TK might not even take DO back if he DOES confess? He broke his trust to pieces and when DO was trying to reach out to TK by using the notes he made as a excuse, TK was NOT happy and rightfully so. TK was expecting an explanation and waited as much as he could. My patience would run thin too if someone was pulling me around like that.
NAM GOONG IS AN ANGEL AT THIS POINT! He's the central wingman, taking care of both TK and DO by looking out for them. he cheered up DO when he needed it and distracted TK with his phone all the while helping SW by nudging him on and showing support for SW for his feelings. NG is AN ADORABLE CINNAMON ROLL. He's still giving So Hee a change to explain herself and he's handling this in the most mature way. I WANTED TO HUG HIM.
SHINWOO WAS SO CUTE HERE! The shoulder scene and the movie scene when TK teased him WERE ADORABLE. I'm gonna be hella pissed if they don't become a couple. I'm SUPER SUPER worried here guys. I can see my ship sinking :(
One another note, I just wanted to point a few things out in terms of "actions" of both DO and SW when they were around TK. So DO, gently tapped TK on the cheek a few episodes back in the student council room, however SW squished TK cheeks without thinking, another instance in comparing their actions is when SW was comforting TK and TK said that making friends and finding thins in common reminded him of DO. While DO had to TELL TK that that's how friendship works with SW it happened naturally. My point is, in both of these instances there's a HUGE difference in the way SW interacted with TK that gives more weight and importance for SW and TK. SW acted WITHOUT THINKING and these actions were more so impulse and his ACTIONS SPOKE MORE THAN WORDS. For DO when he was tapping his cheek it was a slip finger to the cheek and more so a friendly gesture, for SW it was for consideration, love and concern for TK. With DO telling him to find common ground to make friends it was due to him trying to get close but for SW it was on pure instinct. My whole point in selecting these out is to point out the difference here. SW is selfless while DO was calculative, not intentionally or due to being malicious but it shows the difference; SW acts out of LOVE DO acts out of friendship.

ohh seriously this episode gave me the butterflies in my stomach for Shinwoo! BUT MAN THIS IS SO FRUSTRATING WITH THE BACK AND FORTH! I don't know who he's gonna end up with and now this is making me anxious as all hell. People are thinking that Da On might in the end choose Tae Kyung and Shinwoo will step back and this is making me all kinds are angry and sad. Based on the preview for next week, it seems that Tae Kyung can't get over Da on and there's only 4 episodes so so I'm doubting that Shintae will be a thing know which crushes my heart and expectations since the whole show, thus far, has been primarily centred around Da On and Tae Kyung pairing and I'm sooooo upset if it's endgame. Not that I hate the characters but the build up and flop flopping is making me so damn anxious.

OMG I think I've re-watched the episodes at least 10 times no joke. I just re-watch the series to analyze the characters and their actions since I love doing that and making comments if I notice something. I couldn't have said it better myself. My thoughts about TK's first love is that it was DO, DO and TK did have some feelings for each other but DO was too scared to act on them because of his parents and the rumours. When TK was referring to one of them being his first love in episode 1 I think it was Da On but the camera then panned to Shinwoo so I think, and this is just my opinion, that Shinwoo and Tae Kyung are in a relationship in present time (when TK is 20 at the beginning of episode 1) and then he was reflecting his first love (Da On) and the whole series is a flashback up until the present time of episode 1.

urgh the wait is killing me girl! I swear, I was expecting some run of the mill, low budget, 8-10 episodes of barely 10 minutes running time per episode of just garbage and fiddling around, but boy was I wrong. This has to be one of the most "developed" KOREAN BL's out there. Besides "Where Your eyes linger" and a few others, this one has been put on my "LOVE" list. I didn't think I'd be THIS invested into it despite the cliche story line the CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT and interpersonal relationships are ON POINT! Like Chefs kiss to the writing team for creating in depth characters since most of the time in Korean BL what's missing is character development and PLOT so YEEEHHAAAAAA. OMG!!! I never even thought about that in terms of the song and the meaning :O That would describe their current situation down to a T! I couldn't have said it better myself! One thing this series has down to a "T" is the way character's show support in their interpersonal relationships and friendships. Nam Goong and Shinwoo won mad respect for me in the way they handled everything and set aside selfishness to help out their friends. Nam Goong going out of his way to defend and gently nudge TK, DO and So hee to act. Shinwoo for setting aside his desire to be with TK to help him with the rumors and at first tried to let DO get together with TK and give them space. WHAT A TEAM <3
