I was really going to ditch the series since the progression felt super hard for me since it was just grueling for them as a couple and I felt like it wasn't going anywhere in terms of the romance but my GOD were we FED in Ep. 8 and 2 blessed hours of it. I must have watched ep.8 at least 4 times now and I have ZERO regrets. Anyways please enjoy the song edit until official release!

My thoughts so far on this series is that I'm disappointed. I really stuck through and watched till episode 4 but sadly I don't really feel this that much? The chemistry between the leads just isn't there like it was in their other series and I feel like the change in the overall elements and theme of the first pilot may have been what made viewers a bit underwhelmed. I will continue to watch this since this was a passion project of the actors and I applaud them for at least trying to bring something to life but sadly this was a bit flat for me so far. I haven't read the novel but based on comments for those who read the novel, the lack of proper character development and set up is what is crippling this show. I just wish this was a tad darker and maybe a few more episodes longer to allow for more character development but we got what we got. I will stick it through just to see how this goes since I was following this since the pilot and really did enjoy episode 4 but I sadly just think this fell through. Episode 4 so far though was definitely a step in the right direction since it felt more heavy and dark but I'm hoping this will end on a positive note!
Side note; for those who are looking for any of the songs in episode 4 I only found one, "I want you to stay" by Victor Lundberg during the hugging scene (not going into details to avoid spoilers) but I personally LOVED the soundtrack in episode 4. Overall a nice set towards the right direction.
I found only one song that was playing in Episode 4 when Punn had a fight with his brother and Ramil and Punn hugged. "I want you to stay" by Victor Lundberg. I personally LOVED the song for that scene so I hope that's the song you're looking for. I didn't want to think this but I was thinking the same thing. To me it seems more along the lines of hurting the person who hurt his friend so maybe his is flirting to get back. I really hope not since I like their chemistry!
I'm giving this show the benefit of the doubt and trying not to judge the show based on a couple of trailers I have seen and what I was expecting from episode 1. Although I was a bit bummed out from the lighter tone in episode 1 compared to the first trailer, I was still VERY happy with how it turned out. I personally thought that Ramil's portrayal of his character was actually nice and spot on. He can be BOTH silly and cute by showing his child like innocent and curiosity and be lethal when he shows his power and dominance as the Greenmore. I thought it was fresh and interesting take to his acting and character. As I have never read the novel, I'm enjoying this regardless. I personally REALLY LOVED the bath tub scene and am SO interested in how vampires work in this show. It seems to me that there was attention and care put into this serious based on how dark this series is despite the few minutes of light hearted scenes. The transference of power during the tub scene clearly shows they are going for a more grounded, dark element and not to mention it seems like they are trying to follow SOME basic vampire lore of their own. I personally LOVE the makeup, design of their long nails, and even the VFX on their eyes. I have little issues with the first episode and I agree that we are judging too early. I like this WAY more than Golden blood and I think we are all judging too early. I'm looking forward to more and I'm very curious about the characters since I'm going in blind with no previous novel knowledge.
I gotta say that this one did NOT disappoint. I stopped watching JDramas a long time ago due to the overall dramatic, manga over-the-top feel to most dramas I have seen over the years but when it comes down to more serious tonal shifts ,Jdramas can really hit it home for me if done right and this one is totally working. I love this WAY better than the Korean version and this coming from someone who usually prefers Kdramas after years and years of watching all types of dramas. This was honestly a wonderful surprise and a fresh tasteful look at the same story but done more fluidly. I prefer this version of the drama because the character's actions, events and even the plot seems to flow better and respond more naturally than the Kdrama version. I prefer how much more grounded, dark and realistic this is. I have NOT read the novel/webtoon or anything so I do not know how closely this is following the ORIGINAL source material but I REALLY prefer this version. I really appreciate how less comedic this is, especially Kanbe's fiancee and Kanbe herself. The way she is more manipulative and darker in turning the situations around is much more realistic and I really like how much stronger she seems to be in comparison to her portrayal in the Kdrama version. Not to mention Reina seems MUCH more vile, manipulative and downright horrible in this version. I'm glad they didn't waste time playing nice and just got right down ripping her mask off faster in this version. I have to say this is a breath of fresh air for me in terms of Jdramas and I'm SO glad that they picked Satoh Takeru as the ML since he is a very good actor and really hits the nail with his character. I gotta give it up to the crew here for a wonderful performance and not to mention I'm loving the OST for this so far. I can't WAIT for more.
wow this is one of the few mini series I'm actually enjoying! I like the chemistry between the leads, and for once the story isn't about revenge. Glad that the FL isn't over the top or seeking revenge/uncover or a childhood friend marrying the ML father as a concubine like so many other historical mini-series I've watched. I love the simplicity since she's simply a teacher looking for money and the ML isn't ALL evil or bad so it's a bit on the fresh side in terms of being more SIMPLE which I appreciate. ML is VERY interesting and it's the first time I've seen the actor I think and he's very handsome! Love the dubbing for his voice.... wish I could find out who is dubbing ML because his voice is like milk and honey! Very nice so far and I'm enjoying it for what it is. Very simple and fun :)
CAN WE ALL AGREE THAT EP. 11 WAS PEAK? omg Fan Yue was freaking ADORABLE when he lost his memory. I usually HATE amnesia plots because it's so over done and just angst filled but my lord I've never loved a ML amnesia plot twist this much. Fan Yue is so freaking adorable! He's like a puppy and my lord Jesus Christ the leads chemistry shined so much in this episode. I love the color designs of the costumes and the attractive leads already plus their chemistry was already there to start with, but it was really shining in ep. 11. My goodness he's so freaking cute. My thoughts are just hoping for a semblance of a happy ending since I'm really liking this drama so far. FAN YUE PUPPY MODE ACTIVATED lol plus the music is slapping and on FIRE so when the cute orchestral beats popped when he was being all cute just made the scenes all the more sweet. Can't wait for tomorrow!
I'm just camping here since the trailer was so darn unique and felt high production and more western which was really awesome for me. Not to mention the SONG. OMG Jeff Satur is ruling my thoughts with this song and I'm still waiting for the official release of the song if it ever happens :'(
No Idea if this will be good or not since alot of KBL that have been coming out have been lackluster so fingers crossed this will be an exception. Fingers crossed for the full 20 mins instead of 10-15 mins airtime.

I read most of the manga and really enjoyed it so I hope that this drama will incorporate more of the manga.
I started watching this now and I'm on episode 4 and I LOVE Sh Yi but if they don't get together until the last episode then I'm not gonna bother. I hate when SML and FL are teasing each other and no progress happens for the main couple. I love stories with progression and tension and romance... I loved the start but reading everyone's comments regarding the main couple is really a let down for me. I'm gonna stop instead.

Couldn't have said it better myself. It sucks since I haven't read the original material but it seems that the extra context between their relationship could have added an extra dynamic towards their interactions that, while not bad missing, could have really elevated the show between the two leads. It sucks since I personally am enjoying the show more than I thought I would but having that extra padding of their relationship would have really made it special. The show isn't suffering from the loss of the BL element but as a LGBTQ supporter, I feel a bit bummed. Overall I really hope they wrap this one up nicely but I had a great time with the show as it is.
I gotta be the one to say it, but that was VERY disappointing. I was really looking forward to this one due to the interesting plot and concept but man this was a letdown. The first 4 episodes were banger and were pushing me to actually be interested but man did it fall flat on it's face after ep 4. I think the bar for revenge stories have been raised so much that it's difficult to write something good. After the success of "The Glory" I was really hoping for this revenge story to be good especially for the motivation of a brother taking revenge since it's for his brother and you'd think that someone would be so desperate as to do anything for their sibling but literally NOTHING happened. I think the main problem with this concept was that ML is a high school student. He didn't have any power on his on and half of the time he was getting help and not actually doing anything on his own besides poking at the bullies with his actions and remarks. The root problem with this show was definitely setting and writing. The lack of actual actions taken and the "revenge" aspect were non-existent not to mention the bullies themselves weren't THAT bad. What makes a revenge story so good is seeing how corrupt people can be and how hard they can fall and reap what they sow. We saw NOTHING and that was a huge letdown. At first Kang Ha was actually doing something but his "revenge" was lacking and he didn't really DO anything after episode 4.
It would have been WAY better if he had inside help from the start besides his friend who only helped him get the locker combo. His lack of preparations, actions taken, and planning was a disappointment. I think him having inside help would have been better. Perhaps the concept of him playing nice to one of the rich kids parents and manipulating the system to get inside first i.e. tutoring one of the rich kids friends and manipulating that kid's parents by getting dirt on them while tutoring etc. I'm just throwing idea's here but there's SO MUCH they could have done to make this work even with the high school setting but it was totally wasted. I was REALLY hoping for some justice but literally was left with a serious case of whiplash. I honestly pushed through since ep 1-4 were good and the acting for some of the character's wasn't bad plus the music was a banger but I wish I stopped. Very sad to see such a interesting concept be thrown in the wind.
The romance like why? It would have been MUCH better if Kang Ha PUSHED through with his revenge if he actually made Jae Yi fall for him and manipulate her instead of falling for her. I understand she technically didn't do anything but man would it have been so much better to see Kang Ha stand tall and use his sweet words and her feelings for him as a way to get revenge. In fact if Ri An was actually more responsible instead of just bullying his brother and was actually involved more with his death (rather than him just chasing him infront of the car) it would have been way better for Kang ha to hurt him through Jae Yi instead of unintentionally letting them get back together.
