What a GEM of a drama. I've laughed, worried, and almost cried in the span of 8 episodes and I haven't felt THIS emotional in a LONG time. I can't believe I was sitting on the drama and am so happy I took the chance to watch this. I'm not familiar with any of the leads or their previous works but this has to be one of my favourite dramas of 2024 so far. I don't think I was this moved by something besides "Twinkling Watermelon" in terms of time travel and comedy thrown into dramas with tragedy in a long time. I was NOT expecting to like this as much as I am and my god I binged the whole 8 episodes all in 1 sitting and don't regret it. Music is fantastic and the cheesy comedy is FIRE and such a breath of fresh air to break such tension when it comes to the serious parts.
One thing I'm a bit confused about is the "trigger" for when Im Sol gets thrown back and forth in-between timelines. Is the words "I love you the trigger" or midnight? Like I'm still confused and also it seems that the watch had 3:00 on it went she first travelled but with each thing she changed the number goes down and is now and 1:00 so I think she has only 1 last shot to change something (that being the obvious Seon Jae's death since we now know taxi man is out of prison and about).
Also my god not sure that anybody cares about this but I found it VERY interesting to the story and the theme of lost love that this drama is about but the song OST being played in the cafe in episode 8 is called "darling" from the drama call "Melancholia". Now THAT I found interesting since I LOVE that OST from that drama and thought it was KEY that it was playing in the back. Again very smart choice of music to be playing since we know this is about lost love and the pain of loosing someone just like the characters in "Melancholia" did (past people meeting again and trying to "save" each other). IT was bitterweet to see them meet again and that OST being played made that scene all the more tender.
Side thoughts are that I hope for a HE that it at least follows the webtoon. I haven't read it but from the threads and comments it has a happy ending so fingers crossed for a happy ending for these 2.
P.S BLESS THE WRITERS FOR THE BATH SCENE MY GOD THAT WAS BRILLIANT. Had me laughing for a solid 20 minutes. Jesus that was both sexy and hilarious.
So I want to give this a go but there's so many episodes and I've seen ONE too many of this kind of drama were it's FANTASTIC but has a very sad ending or terrible ending. Can someone please let me know if the ending with be sad or not? I don't mind novel spoilers... I just don't want to invest so much time if there's a sad ending since I've seen one too many and get invested only to be disappointed with the ending.
samen I've been trying to find out the song for episode 2 (piano song when he's in the club "helping out FL") and opening song since it's so darn catchy. I can't find them anywhere :(
How are you Eunwoo's fan but you don't know he acted in Island, Hit the top, Rookie Historian, Decibel. They are…
totally agree! I'm very excited to see how far he can push it here and see where his character goes. For me, I'm just curious to see if Eun Woo can pull off darker, sombre characters. After the release of his single album recently and more mature tone he's going for as an independent artist, I'm VERY interested to see if he's capable of pulling a dark character! FINGERS CROSSED for this drama to be a hidden gem!

I have watched Island (but again he's still a bit cute in that one and I wish he had more air time since they just left it after season 2) and seen some of Rookie Historian but again I more into darker stuff now that I'm older and his character seems really interesting here so I'm very happy to see him and I'm more excited for this character here :)
I'll be honest, I'm watching this because Eun Woo is in it but to be fair I'm liking this story and so far Kim Nam Joo is carrying the series with her brilliant acting even though this is the first time I've seen her before. I'm VERY glad Eun Woo is acting in something completely different from his usual rom-com and breaking from his cute, innocent image. I've been his fan for a while so to see him do something different and broaden his acting career is wonderful to see. I'm pretty sure a vast majority of the audience is watching this BECAUSE Eun Woo is in it so to see him completely different is GREAT and might prove that he's not just stuck in one type of character trope forever and prove he's not just a pretty face like most people think he is. It really sucks when people judge him for his face and looks rather than his acting. I can understand WHY though since he's been in the same genre and character type for so long so we never were able to see his range of acting before so fingers crossed that this really does open the door for him. I personally am waiting to see how his cold, ruthless character will pull through since it seems like he has beef either with the president or Kim Nam joo's character. I can't wait till tomorrow.
it was good but the rules of the game were confusing. I wished we got more time so can go a little bit into detail.…
OH GOD I HOPE SO. But yeah super glad that they're investing more energy for better actors, airtime and overall better writing for KBLs. We know they can make some sweet stuff but they just need the production value and better writing and boom you get yourself some high quality BL.
I'm so happy, that K bl keeps leveling up. this one brought all the emotions I would love to experience. different…
AGREED. This was something we really needed and Korea proved that they CAN make great BL with even short airtime. They just need to invest a bit in the actors and good writing and I swear it really DOES work. They've proven it with Semantic Error, Light on Me and Where your eyes linger so I'm not shocked that this did well. Sometimes getting more well known or older actors really does make a difference along with a decently written story and boom you got yourself a well concocted, spicy KBL that honestly checks off all the checkmarks of a well made BL. I'm still waiting on the last 2 episode since I'm at work but my lord the CHEMI is amazing. Myung Ha as a character is REALLY driving the series for me.
"cha yeo woon's leg isn't injuredtae myung ha has friendscha yeo woon doesn't quit tracktae myung ha has 300,000…
yeah I was confused about all those comments and the errors. I think it was because Myung Ha was changing Yeo Woon's fate so I think he was creating errors since in the original plot of the story his friend wrote i think he was supposed to hurt his leg and not be able to run for example so error's from deviating from plot? Still I was hella confused at the ending of ep6 where he had to choose? LIKE WHY?
here my sad butt is working in office checking the comments while DYING for my LUNCH break to just watch at least episode 7... I WANNA SEE THE END but I'M AT WORK. SOMEONE SAVE ME
THE TENSION~ My lord I watched this out of bordem but boy am I glad I did. I was NOT expecting to like this as much as I did. Usually the short airing length of K BL is a huge blow to the series so I'm VERY glad that this is a bit longer but THE TENSION. My god Lee Tae Vin is KILLING it as Tae Myung. His experience as an older 29rd man as his character really SHINES through when he's interacting with Cha Yeonwoon. And my lord the way there's this underlining tension LIKE THE HUG SCENE? Can we all appreciate how Tae Myung wasn't scared to kiss the bully to prove a point? Like I understand it might have been a bit over the top but my god the way he just went all out to prove a point not to poke fun at gay people was BANGER. PLEASE the tension is killing meeeeeee. I haven't read the webtoon but I swear I LOVE Cha Yeonwoon in charge like in Tae Myung's dream. It was spicy and it was so adorable to see how clingy Myung has become after his affection for Tae Myung increased. He's like a puppy and seeing this flip side is ADORABLE. PLEASE let this show be a great start for BLs for 2024. 2023 was ok but a bit dry for BLs so this is a promising one.
Side note as someone who hasn't read the webtoon but... if Tae Myung is taking in too much of Yeonwoon's negative debuff energy will he eventually die the stronger the negative energy is? Like that's what is seems like to me the more bad mojo he takes and the stronger it is since we saw him almost pass out from it once.
