The subs are coming out reasonably quickly on https://drama-otaku.com/, and so register there if you haven't.…
Already tried signing up at drama otaku and they rejected my application and so many people's. I understand it's to avoid people from ripping their subs and rude people spoiling it for others but it sucks. I'll just have to wait unfortunately :(
I feel so bad for half of the people in the comments section, myself included, who don't have access to see this drama anywhere. I was really looking forward to seeing this but mostly likely we'll have to wait for like half a year before it gets put into other platforms to be eligible for streaming.

I agree with most of the comments here; messy writing, lack of direction and overall weak character background and sloppy direction is what this BL is suffering from and it's a darn shame. I just feel that if Korea really gave TIME to the BL genre as a whole and put in the effort, money and production value towards better writing it would be good. We have seen shorter series that have done much better if only CARE was given to it. Fore example "Semantic Error", "Light on me", WYEL etc. I feel hardly any chemistry between the main couple due to the fact they hardly have any screen time together and I have no idea what the point of the love triangle is if the character's hardly interact. Honestly Jun (former Idol) character trope of the innocent deer like character is what's not doing it for me. The lack of enthusiasm for their characters and overall lackluster direction of the plot is what's not doing it for me. I'm gonna push through it but I feel like Korea needs to work on their BLs. I just feel that most Korean BL's especially fall under the "bad writing" and we only have so much limited airtime so let's cram whatever in there trope. Love class 2, that's currently airing, is facing this problem too. Too short, messy plot and I was hella confused for the 2 episodes that aired for it so far. The overall messy direction of plot and writing really turns me off and it's an unfortunate this that BL falls into.
Now i'm a little confused about the sound too but the name part wasn't a lie, we see a flashback when he is attacked…
Yeah in all honesty the writers should have made it more easy for the audience to tell the difference by switching the sounds for truth and lies. Lies should have be a long low DONG and truths should have been a short high pitch DING, which to me, makes more sense rather than what they have currently which is vice versa. I'm honestly not sure, it could be that for Do Ha, when he's lying he BELIEVES his lies to the point that it comes out as the truth and that is what could be causing Sol Hee's radar to go on the fritz. From what we've seen, Do Ha is the most truthful out of everyone she's talked with and I think that Do Ha believes his guilt and lies so much to the point that it comes out as a "false truth" to Sol Hee. I think that's the theory that makes the most sense for her radar fritzting out.
Personally I'm enjoying this drama. I wasn't expecting much going in and I knew that the plot and romance would be cliche, however I'm enjoying this more than I thought. The acting is natural for everyone and I'm appreciating the flow and how the acting isn't over the top, goofy or to comedic. It's good to have romance dramas with a bit more serious undertones to make it feel more grounded and realistic. Although shows like King the Land are fantastic in terms of comedy and romance, sometimes it's nice to have something a bit more slow paced and toned down in terms of romance and acting to make it relatable.
For those who are criticizing Min Hyun's acting, I think that he's doing a wonderful job. I've been following him since Alchemy of souls and I think he's doing a great job. He fits a more reserved ML role and his character fits him well since he's more quite so I think his natural way of expressing his character makes him fit for the role. I think his panic attack is what really made me like his character and his scene in ep.4 where he went along with Sol Hee and helping her out acting as her bf. That scene felt raw to me and I honestly like how the story is so far.
I have to admit, like everyone else I'm still slightly confused about the differentiation between the sounds for when Sol Hee is listening to a lie and truth. I think I have figured it out though since some people are saying Kim Do Ha (Min Hyun) was telling the truth and thinks he killed his ex when he was dreaming however I think it's the opposite. In ep4 the CEO of Do Ha was lying when he gave his business card to Sol Hee and lying for Do Ha by saying he was unemployed (the loud DING ring is indication of someone lying) however the DONG low pitch sound is someone telling the truth (In ep. 4 Do Ha said he doesn't like Syaon and never say her as a women which the audience knows is the truth and is when we heard the DONG plus the DONG sounds we heard we he was in the room with the other artist being scoped out). However he LIED to her regarding his name in ep. 4 and we still heard the DONG so what I'm thinking is that he is able to lie and she can't tell the difference (remember the couch scene when they were watching "Master's Sun"). So the ending for ep. 4 when Do ha was dreaming he "killed" his ex was him TELLING THE TRUTH with the loud DONG which would make more sense then him telling the truth that he killed her and lying since Sol Hee is helping him in ep. 5 preview. and how she might help him find the real culprit. That's how I see it anyways however I'm still a bit confused regarding the sounds.
I really appreciate how Choi Jun (Manager) isn't your run of the mill cold, expressionless, and boring love interest like usual. Although he was reserved, you could tell that he has a thing for Lee Jun (intern) and how he kept saying he can pay him back for the ride. I really appreciate how fluffy things seemed and how they had a nice history. I like how the acting isn't over the top and I like their dynamic. Not to mention how cute it was when Choi Jun was clearly nervous and jealous when asking about the Hyung. So far it's cute, so fingers crossed that it's gonna be one the of better BLs.
does anyone know where to watch this? i just checked all the usual sites for example dramacool but there seems to be a completely different series posted everywhere under this drama's name episode 1 raw and I'm confused. I don't know where to watch it.
Favourite ongoing kdrama 🫶🏻 the leads are perfect and story is unique, the rating is this high for a reason.ps:…
totally agree, don't like don't watch. Personally I'm glad we're getting something a little more down to earth, melodrama with less action and fantasy. This is a nice change of pace to just sit down to and not think about and just watch to absorb yourself in. Personally I love the acting and I couldn't think of a better cast that SHS (Shin Hye) she's killing it.
I'm loving this one so far, uplifting yet poignant. Shin Hye Sun is perfect. And if there's one thing I've learned…
most likely! I've never read the webtoon but I'm assuming too since she's already died 2 times in the span of 1 generation (as the uncle and the girl) so it's most likely not at all accidental plus the Moon Seo Ha's step mom? if she even is is SUS as hell :P so most likely she did something.
I think the lack of chemistry comes from the fact that we don't really understand why the FL likes the ML so much.…
Sadly I've only seen him in 2 other shows as side characters and from what I can remember his character wasn't that memorable so I haven't seen him in Yumi's cells at all. I've heard a lot about Yumi's cells and how good it is but in the second season He's as the ex-boyfriend to the FL and there's a new ML (Park Jin Young) so you can decide if you want to watch it not. Personally I've seen a number of medical dramas and I know for sure MOST of them are not for me. Anything medical related I have to push through to watch (some aren't bad) but you have to decide if you want to watch or not. From what I've seen of the ML in his other roles he's mostly "wooden" in his acting but I can see that he's getting better in his acting in this drama compared to his other side roles I've seen him in since those were older but his acting never left a huge impression on me. The general consensus is that in here SHS (Shin Hye) is stealing the show with her wonderful acting and it shows. His character is supposed to be like that since this is based on the webtoon but we can see that he's changing so fingers crossed. When it comes to the scenes where there's trauma the ML actor seems to do a good job but I can agree that his acting does seem "wooden" at the moment perhaps due to his character. I hope that helps you decide! :)
I think the lack of chemistry comes from the fact that we don't really understand why the FL likes the ML so much.…
that's a very good point as well. Personally I don't have a major gripe with "how" she fell in love with him since people could make the argument that you don't necessarily need a grand reason to fall in love with someone or be obsessed with him (for example some people still obsess over breaks up so long after and still love their ex) the same could be said here that she loved him so much to the point of her next life. But again making her love him as adult vs. a child really isn't that huge of a deal for me but doing that way I think would have made a huge impact as well so it would have been interesting to see them go that route too. But I can understand what you mean. Either way I'm here for the ride and am still loving the show.
I think the lack of chemistry comes from the fact that we don't really understand why the FL likes the ML so much.…
I think even giving it a few more episodes to see where the story will go is a good idea to see if you want to continue. Personally I love the cast as well! Fingers crossed for a good story in the end <3
I think the lack of chemistry comes from the fact that we don't really understand why the FL likes the ML so much.…
I can totally understand that!~ Personally I agree with the fact that his personality does seem cliche in terms of having a tragic backstory and how he changed from bratty to sombre but it could be due to the lack of backstory of ML during the time skip and HOW he grew up and what could make him different in her eyes, not to mention half of kdrama viewers, like myself, may not have the webtoon understanding of his character. Personally I would like to keep giving this a shot since I love the acting and story is interesting but like I said I can understand completely this may not be ppl's cup of tea. I also think that the problem with adapting webtoons to kdramas is that we need enough episodes to be showing the character's backstory so maybe 12 episodes isn't enough for some ppl to convince them of the romance since it's hard to adapt so much webtoon plot into 12 episodes.
This drama is goofy, silly and hilarious and I love it! I've seen my fare share of vampire rom-coms and dramas in general; even J-dramas and some C-dramas with vampire like creatures, but I have to say that I'm really liking this one. Other vampire dramas like "blood" and "vampire detective", although pretty decent, were too serious and I think the problem with specifically VAMPIRE dramas is that nobody can get it right for people to be totally satisfied. They always end up being on one end of the spectrum; either way too serious that people end up loosing interest or way too comedic and cliche that people don't even watch or drop. This one SEEMS to go the comedy root and tries to balance it out with a middle ground and so far it's working for me :P Honestly I've always found that vampire related dramas are always underrated and for some reason are never done right. Not sure if it's vampire's in general but this one seems to be working it.
I personally love OTY as an actor and fell in love with him in Vincenzo so picking him was the right choice and I can see his hilarious and serious acting push through when needed. This drama not taking itself seriously sells the comedy and the visual effects for when he has his vampire moments are doing it for me. Although not the best, they are pretty darn decent and I LOVE how things are going in terms of pace. I'm happy they didn't drag so many flashbacks and get right to the story after ep. 1 as I hate when things drag. I'm also loving the OST "revive" by Han Seung Yoon. It has a classic spooky Halloween feel. This dramas kinda gives me oldies mid 2000 feels and I'm ALL FOR IT.
Personally the FL, although a bit over the top, is still pretty decent and can we all agree how when she bit him was HILARIOUS. At first I was a bit disappointed since I was expecting this to be super dramatic and serious so when I was hit with the comedy I was a bit thrown out of it a bit but once I got the feel I genuinely enjoyed it. Honestly OTY is adorable as a our baby vampire boy and he's doing a great job.
Fingers crossed this becomes a shining gem or at least something people can enjoy and have a great laugh at. Waiting for the next episodes is gonna be a struggle since I'm enjoying this.
Here's the OST for anyone who enjoyed the ending song during ep.2 like I did and want something to just jam to :P
A promising start to be a melancholic show! So far I'm really enjoying this slow paced, melodrama feel to it. I just don't really understand all the hate and controversy for this show. I can understand how some people don't vibe with it but it's honestly much more deeper than some are really saying it is. As Aways SHS is an amazing actress and she manages to kill it no matter her role in any series I've see her in.
For those arguing that this is mid, I can understand completely how they might think so; it looks slow paced, "boring", and lacks chemistry between the main couple as some ppl are saying. The music to me is wonderful; very easy on the ears, bittersweet and melancholic which is supposed to shadow the show in general. What I think ppl are misunderstanding about the music choice and so called "lack of chemistry" is that the whole show is a slow burn, melodrama with trauma mixed into a heavy romance series. So the lack of chemistry may be to due to the fact that SHS (Ban Ji Eum's character) has been through countless reincarnations and lived through it all. Her calm demeanor despite facing tragedy, is showing how she's used to all the loss and trauma she's faced; the war, her loved ones always dying BEFORE her and how she's become numb to it all. I've seen some arguments about how it's weird she'd getting hung up on Moon Seo ha when she's lived for long and she literally said early in the show that he made her life feel enjoyable for once; that she was ACTUALLY her age for once. She was always mentally old once she regained her memories so she was suffering; he made her breathe and feel like a child after so long. I also think there's more going on than we think. In all her past lives she lost a lover or loved one (she's always chasing after someone in the flash backs she was holding someone who died in 2 of her lives) so I think she lost a lover before more than once. So her falling for MSH isn't weird to me at all. I think what ppl are missing is that this time SHE DIED first and much earlier than she was meant to. In all her previous incarnations we always see her HOLDING someone who died before her lover (presumably a loved one or lover) so I think it's interesting how in her 18th life she died before Moon Seo Ha. The further lack of chemistry is due to the fact that they are getting to know each other all over again. Remember that MSH doesn't know she was his first love and to him she's a stranger.
I personally REALLY enjoy how they are portraying things in such a subtle manner. It's not completely an original idea but how they are executing it is "fresh". I'm used to the fantasy, action rom-com romance that is more commonly used so this is a breath of fresh air. It's wonderful to see the main lead being weak for once and NOT BE super rich and famous. Sure he's a bit rich but his hotel isn't doing so hot and he's not super duper famous like more ML are in rom-coms nor is he stuck up like most ML until the FL tones him down (tired of seeing ML being so grumpy and arrogant until FL makes him sweet). MSH is mostly ignored by both society and his dad. Not to mention it's nice to see ML having a disability (hearing). In most rom-com the ML is fine or just has a mental issue. Sure the trauma thing with car accidents is heavily overdone and cliché but I like how they are making the trauma realistic and not overly dramatized. I like dramas that depict heavy themes like depression, and PTSD is a realistic manner. Shows like "It's okay not to be okay" and "Kill me, heal me" show trauma and heavy themes in a comedic way which work in their own but this show isn't like that so people saying that this show isn't doing it well need to look at it from a more realistic, down to earth manner. Although I LOVED both of those shows, the comedy sometimes ruined the dramatic feel for me. So I can understand how some ppl aren't liking this show. It may seem like not a lot is going on, how there's little chemistry and how there's not much going on but the whole point of this show is to peel things back little by little. Personally the OST isn't bothering me at all. The main theme "Silence" by sunwoojunga and track "Star" by Colde both have lyrics that reflect the show and hit a somber tone. I truly hope people try to give this show a chance. It's still early on so fingers crossed people appreciate this show for what it is.
I haven't read the webtoon but from what I've seen (non-webtoon viewer) I don't see what the problem is. Fingers crossed for more shows like this.
So I watched episode 1 and part of episode 2 but I stopped watching since I wasn't really "feeling" it since the ML Lee Soo Hyuk as a character was a bit too cold and just meh in terms of his character. I keep coming to the comments here and half say it's great and to watch and the other half is with my general opinion as meh. I love my romance shows so I was wondering... should I give this one another shot, keep watching and push through?
i'm enjoying this enough despite my initial hesitation but i have one question LOL who are mi joo's kids? (the…
Honestly I have the EXACT same questions as you do for All the above about Mijoo and his fiance. Like why? I thought she was obsessed with him based on how she acted in the salon and visited his house and brought him over to introduce to her parents. Personally I hope Kang ho gets back together with Mi joo or at least mends his relationship with her but Mijoo has kids and based on how she didn't visit him maybe for her feelings about him during her accident she might be feeling guilty?
Mijoo's kids...I'm not sure they are hers. She used to have older sisters where are they now? My deduction is…
Yeah same 🤣 I'm so confused but then again she was talking on the phone with her mom and it was stated that the father ran away and that she's not looking for him so I'm guessing those ARE her kids.. unless I missed something
Either way I'm dying for episode 5 TT^TT
