QUESTION on Ep 5Why was Ji Hoon carrying Jae Woo on his back as if he were injured or drunk, when all that had…
yeah I noticed that too. Sometimes things probably had to get cut for airtime but lets hope that if a movie version comes out they add in the extra scenes. They did that with Color rush movie. They compiled all the episodes and added some better quality audio and a few seconds of certain episodes. Sometimes they do that with the movie version so fingers crossed. I personally think they should start making these Korean BL 10-12 episodes and instead of 24 minutes should be 30 since 2-3 minutes of the episode are just ending and opening credits since, that way, we can get more flushed out character backgrounds and key plot points added. But this is one of the rare Korean BL that doesn't waste time with it's airing time. It gets as much as possible shown and manages to get to the point which I appreciate.
.GOTTA SUSPEND A LOT OF DISBELIEF, BUT SOMEHOW IT STILL WORKSIt requires a huge suspension of disbelief cuz so…
I completely agree. Although some things don't make sense in terms of time travel, i.e. how did he have money to rent the room? He cell phone? etc. but for the sake of the compelling acting and interesting storyline it can be easily overlooked. I'm invested since it's one of the few Korean BL that doesn't waste time with it's airing time and gets right to it instead of wish washing with the plot and wasting time. I personally love the acting. If it wasn't for such great acting the base storyline isn't all that original but it's compelling and the OST slaps when it needs to.
Soooo like JW already knows how many ppl that criminal dude killed and where they r n stuff, so why didn’t he…
it would have been hard since the criminal guy even said that the police doesn't even know. He would need proof and frankly he would sound insane going to the police without proof and even try to stop a crime that hasn't happened yet or warn the police about a future crime. He would need evidence which he doesn't have time to collect since he only have 30 days before he's sent back to the future. He spent half his time already trying to find the criminal so not much time left. But yeah it does sound more logical to go to the police. I was thinking the same thing until I remembered that in Korea you could be sued for defamation so it would be hard to get that guy. Bur for silly plot reasons I guess he wanted to get the guy BEFORE anything happened since the police takes their sweet time investigating.
Ji Yong... just wow. Amazing acting for such a mini BL series. I was seriously expecting this to be really bad but I'm glad that they're doing a great job with such a plain storyline with fantastic acting and wonderful direction. Given the airtime they're really focusing on what's important. I've seen too many BL with same airtime that either mess around with the plot so badly or have even more airtime that just had no direction (I'm looking at you "To my star 2") so I was worried that they were gonna waste a lot of time for Jae Woo (Ji Yong) to find the place where Ji Hoon died but I was not disappointed. The crying scene on ep 4. was much more emotional than thought and I found myself both sad and heartbroken these last 2 episodes. Ji Yong is killing it with his character and I feel like he's carrying the story for me. His pure emotions and desperation are sucking me in and keeping me invested so props to the hiring team for picking the right actors for this.
This show has a subtle comedic, heartfelt, bittersweet feeling about it and I was both laughing at Ji hoon being super awkward wondering why this random dude keeps calling him uncle and tearing up whenever Ji Yong' character would try so desperately to save him. At the same time it's so heartbreaking since as the audience we know the reasoning for his desperation. Honestly I was not expecting to like this BL this much. I'm never bored and both MLs are captivating in their own ways. I'm dying for next week. TT^TT
Can someone tell me if she the reincarnation of his dead lover or not? He said “you’re not her” I’m guessing…
it's leaning towards her most likely being her and according to the bookkeeper dude she probably is. Not to mention her blood being able to break incantations which General Lu Yan has said the saintess is the only one cable of doing it so yeah.
How's the romance so far for this drama? Quite hesitant to start. Liked Allen Ren, but all of his dramas that…
so far it's another slowburn but it's making some progress. There's gonna be some kiss scenes according to some trailers and spoilers people posted on twitter but it's mostly due to the fact that he's married and in China things are a bit different in terms of actors and having romantic scenes if they're married.
What a nice start to a BL in the second half of 2022. I honestly thought was gonna be a cheap, horrible cliche BL but I was wrong. Once in a while Korea can really deliver and this one takes the cake for a great start. My fear was the run time and having the plot being totally swept to the side or rushed however with the airtime given they managed to introduce main plot developments in a great way! Honestly I was surprised at how interested I was and was very thrown in. Both past and present meeting together in a wonderful blend. Episode 2 for me was a highlight when Ji Hoon met with his savior both as his past and present selves. Acting is pretty darn good with the main leads and it has a sweet undertone. I'm loving the concept BUT lets hope that this one doesn't fall on it's face.
And I'm LOVING the ending OST, it slaps!
Fingers crossed for a wonderful storyline! I can't wait for next week
honestly the 2 most impactful character developments for me were YM and TD. I think YM had such a wonderful character…
She hurt him and killed him so that he can pass his final test in the mortal realm which is death. She didn't want his spirit to vanish so she killed him to pass his test so that he could go back to the heavenly realm. In the preview for Mondays' episode YD cuts the rest of her heart out AGAIN for TZ/YY so that he could become the war god again so she still loves him in a way
can someone spoil to me what happens between main couple? I watched all of season 1 and about 5 episodes of season 2 but this show is really slow burn towards the main couple's romance. I want to know if they get a good ending or bad. I'm on pause with this show since I'm not feeling it.
Honestly this makes sense since in the trailer for this season I saw YD stabbing TZ so I was pretty confident…
yup I saw that too. I guess it's even more symbolism of her LITERALLY giving her heart to him for love. She's sacrificed so much so I wonder, based on the previews, what else YY will give up in return. Besides him going through punishment with YD together and him choosing not to be the War god. I guess him loosing his title as war god and him destroying his cultivation base as a mortal does make up some of what she went through for him but I still feel her walking for the river for 800 years seems like she sacrificed more for him. Fingers crossed that in the heavenly realm he does more to reciprocate the sacrifice she did for him.
LOL, thankfully is on Thursday because I got a final exam tomorrow, do you imagine me going to take an exam with…
LOL I WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO CONCENTRATE~ luckily I'm done with school so I don't need to worry about that but I'm watching these episodes in-between work. It's one of the benefits from working from home XD Good luck on your exam!
I am so ready to be clowned again for that wedding scene ~I think the real deal will be in Heavenly Realm......…
yeah Heavenly realm is when all the good stuff is gonna happen. Based on the trailer is looks like things will be lovely dovey when TZ/YY returns to the heavenly realm.
Ahhhhh... there's not much to say, I feel like I'm in a dream seeing Yan Dan and Tang Zhou smiling at each other…
Honestly this makes sense since in the trailer for this season I saw YD stabbing TZ so I was pretty confident that she did that so he would die, finish his mortal life and return to the heavenly realm so him giving up his artifacts in tomorrow's episode makes more sense after the preview. I just can't wait to see them become closer in the heavenly realm.

who knows what's really going to happen but in marriage I'm sure there's always an argument. Just because they argue doesn't mean they haven't grown in their own ways. To be honesty I'm just happy that TZ/YY FINALLY fought for YD for once and went against the rules to follow his heart for once! It's a nice change.
where are you my sweet potato 🥔 dumpling? my 🍅 thoughts, at first I felt that ep 40 & 41 were fillers then…
honestly the 2 most impactful character developments for me were YM and TD. I think YM had such a wonderful character arc and that his leadership roles as the mountain head is perfect for him. The way he let go of his love for YD so that she can figure things out herself and how he's willing to stay silent while letting YD stand for herself is wonderful to see. YD acting the way she is makes complete sense and I'm super glad that she can act that way after maturing. TZ as a character is such a beautiful way for YY to show his sincerity. towards YD. His mortal shell is breaking through and honestly it's a great way for him to get in some character development and finally break free from his obedient reliant personality on rules to govern his life. I can't wait for tomorrow.
