OMG THIS! I feel you! I'm currently watching Korean BL "You Make me Dance" and JESUS the waiting is killing me. Ep 3-4 is tomorrow but 10 minutes is NOTHING. I'm super happy that WOH at least is almost 1 hour long and 44 minutes is PERFECT. I think that these Korean BL need to be at LEAST 20 minutes long. Japan is better in that regard, especially with the show Cherry magic. I mean I can understand Korea still being uncomfortable with the LGBTQ community and they're getting better but 10 minutes is seriously NOTHING and it would help if BL episodes were at least 20 minutes long to help with plot/story development but I'm just happy with what we've got. WOH is seriously making 2021 a good start to the year for me <3

okay so I'm a bit confused since some people are saying in episode 12 that ZZS is starting to go deaf but I might have missed it since I didn't see any indication that he was going deaf! Can someone please tell me approx when in episode 12? I might have missed it since I was skipping some scenes since I don't understand ANY Chinese and was skipping some side character scenes until it's subbed. And if he was then OMNG TT___TT since he will also start loosing his other senses too slowly according to the nail process. Thanks!
URGH EPISODE 12 GAVE ME LIFE! OMG THE LEVEL OF CUTENESS OVERLOAD! CHENG LING IS NOW MY SON! The way he was hugging WKX TT___TT these two idiots are such good fathers! OMG I CAN'T! I must protect my son! yeah the subtle hints and references to poetry and their true meaning gave the dialogue MUCH more meaning and depth to what was being said which I greatly appreciated, especially with the birds and how one mate dies so does the other. It clarified what WKX meant in episode 6 when he said "If you leave this world, who should I go to?" and ZZS said "go to whoever you like", which means WKX doesn't know where to go if ZZS leaves and might even follow him in death. I have to hand it to the script writers for the clever subtlety and smooth writing.

according to the novel and slight tease of Ep 1 and spoiler of ep 10, WKX is the leader of Ghost Valley to avenge his parents but regarding if he's doing it on purpose to kill people for the glazed armor pieces or is being FRAMED I don't know for sure.
okay! I HAVE to share this especially for international fans that don't know Chinese AT ALL or have very minimal and basic understanding of Chinese culture/language/history and poetry. There's a youtube channel which might have been shared on here somewhere already and some of you guys may know it BUT this channel linked below called Chinese star news, goes in depth regarding certain scenes of this show to REALLY explain some subtle subtext regarding WKX and ZZS relationship and hidden flirting subtext that if you're Chinese or have Chinese knowledge you'll notice otherwise will be completely missed by others. I myself missed a TON of subtext that the writers and director hid in certain scenes due to the censorship which in all honestly clarifies a ton of scenes for me as well as dialogue choices that had me scratching my head sometimes. This youtube channel even explains what certain scenes ORIGINAL dialogue was supposed to be before the director added the voice dubbing over the script. Feel free to take a look but I've linked the youtube channel as well as 1 scene in particular! There's more videos breaking down certain actions and scenes as well as symbolism of food/items and even lines of poetry that explain hidden subtext of WKX and ZZF relationship. yeah it was honestly killing me and I couldn't help myself so I just a HAD to know what was roughly going on so I watched the spoilers and figured "hey might as well share with others who WANT spoilers". Plus I couldn't handle their little "spat" in episode 10 since the angst was heavy and I needed to know if things resolved quickly which they did. The only thing I'm worried about is what ZZS reaction will be when he finds out that WKX is the Ghost Valley leader :(

oh you said it! It honestly is such a shame since I don't think I've seen any other type of hetero "normal" romance drama getting this type of dirt or so much shade on them. I just don't understand the fanbase. In my opinion just have a fun time with the show and enjoy! Personally I'm grateful that China is even making these BL novels into shounen ai/bromance type of dramas and I'm more than happy with this show as it is. The upcoming drama Immortality is something I'm REALLY looking forward too and if people ruin the experience it'll make the poor authors of the novels as well as other international fans just feel horrible since it's already hard as it is to get these dramas approved for censorship.
EPISODE 11 MADE EVERYTHING ALRIGHT AGAIN! It was so freaking adorable and domestic when ZZS took Chen ling as his disciple FINALLY! They're such a cute little family and the way ZZS and WKX dote on Chen Ling is adorable <3 THEY MAKE SUCH CUTE FATHERS. All joking aside, episode 11 was a nice break and character development for ZZS since he's finally breaking out of his hard shell and smiled so sweetly. It was a very nice episode after such a hectic sad episode 10. I can't wait till it's subbed!
