that's honestly what I was thinking: maybe his mom died and his step-dad didn't approve of him dancing he MAY have been an influential person judging by how expensive looking his mom's wedding dress looked and his own clothes during the talk he had with his mom before her wedding.

I'm so glad that someone else felt the same way I did! Some people are finding it "cheesy" but I didn't get that feeling at all. I love the emotional connection and bond with the red thread going on here! Not to mention the incredible attention to detail that some people MAY have missed regarding that theme: in Japanese culture and mostly well known globally the string is tied to the little pinky finger however in CHINESE culture the thread is tied to the ankles. Why is this important? Because JHS was wearing a red scarf when he was coming to collect SSO's debt and he tied his RED SCARF around his ankles; therefore establishing the threaded bond between them. HE took the first step and then SSO reciprocated with the pinky thread after his dance by grabbing onto him with the promise he made. I just LOVE subtle hints to detail that some people miss.

I'm honestly finding their dynamic cute although I feel that their bond hasn't been established yet so their chemistry wasn't strong for me in episode 1 YET. Episode 2 was beautiful, especially the choreography of the dance scene and the lovely piano track playing since we know from the trailers that JHS used to play piano.

There's so many questions that I hope we get answers to like: What made JHS stop playing piano since during the bus scene in episode 1 he seemed more bubbly and a bit more full of life. What made SSO get debt? What happened to his mom after she re-married?

I can't wait for next week <3 (づ｡◕‿‿◕｡)づ

Honestly this show is definitely one of the better well written Thai BLs out there and I've seen my fair share of them. Don't get me wrong some of the older ones in 2020 were pretty good but this one is totally more original in terms of storyline and it has less of the stereotypical clichés that are seen in Thai BL. It's a breath of fresh air and I'm loving the focus on spirituality and the bond between two people rather than classic university kids drama and story archetypes.

I look forward to Fridays since this is nicely paced and there isn't any of the annoying music, or over the top facial expressions, sound effects or overacting. Everything is smooth and honestly a breath of fresh air. The acting of the MLs is so well rounded and I'm digging this show <3 Can't wait till tomorrow ʕ•́ᴥ•̀ʔっ

it was honestly so adorable. I'm digging this show because of the main leads. It's killing me that I'm currently working at home but I'm sooo tempted to just read the novel instead of working lol

the funniest one has to be the facial cleanser OMG HILARIOUS :D, but ZZS looks at least 7-10 years younger without all that grungy makeup and face paint.

I've seen all 6 episodes raw so far and it's pretty darn good. Although the excessive flying and quite hilarious spinning can be a bit much for me, even though I've seen my fair share of Chinese historical dramas, this one is well paced overall. I'm enjoying the 2 ML interactions and definitely episode 6 was a treat <3 I have to say that Simon's playful and flirtatious acting is what's selling their dynamic for me. I'll definitely be watching this in English on Friday.

Though I do have a question to anyone who has read the novel. I'm planning on reading it since Inquisitor was kind enough to post the link but I'm not sure if it's worth it? Can someone tell me if the ML have more of a romantic bond or not in the novel and if it's worth reading and investing my time in?

The romance is really slow burn but it's portrayed as "realistically" as possible in my opinion. There's been some split opinions in the audience in regards to how the main couple handles the challenges in their relationship but the character development for the ML HS (Hyun Seung) is wonderful. Personally the ML handles his affections and behaviour in a mature way and it's pretty solid.

I just can't wait for more to come! 2021 seems to be the year of BL for Korea especially :P

Does anybody know if this will be like "To My Star" and have 2 episodes per week? So it says 8 episodes but does that mean 2 episodes being aired every week so a total of 16? Or is it just like "Color Rush" and only have 8 episodes? TT___TT

WELL SAID! Episode 9 was so frustrating for me since she was throwing him in the un-known and I was completely thinking the same thing as you. I understand both their view points and it's completely natural to be backing off to think about things to move on but what she did was honestly kinda like whiplash and I just hope she doesn't give him hope only to hurt him in the end. At this point in their "relationship"/"friendship", Hyun Seung is carrying their relationship and I feel he's doing all the heavy lifting so to speak. He's scarified way too much and I think he deserves to be respected with whatever he chooses to do.

Honestly it's my first time seeing Rowoon in any drama for that matter and I have to say he's nailing his role! I honestly thought he WAS 27 but when I found out he was younger I was shocked. His character is mature and honestly refreshing in comparison to other dramas. He knew what he wanted from the start and wasn't pushing Song Ah for anything more than she was willing to give. The one thing like I appreciate about his character the most is that he isn't expecting anything since he knows her heart currently doesn't have the capacity for what he desires so he was willing to give up on her. He's honestly so mature and the character writing for him is fantastic. He's adorable and I love the mature, realistic way he is.

The one thing I have a small gripe with about in the show is Rong Ah as a character. At first I really didn't like her since she was doing the exact thing she told Ro Woon not to do; which was to have an office romance. I didn't like how her character was portrayed and thought she was a bit of a snob but she's slowly growing on me as a character. I also appreciate how she isn't just jumping into a relationship with anyone just after a break up. The feel of the dramas is classic and mature which I appreciate.

But Rowoon is honestly killing it and making this drama worth it. I can't wait for episode 9 to see how their romance is going to bloom <3

THIS RIGHT HERE! Thank you! FINALLY someone else was thinking the EXACT same thing as me. I still love the production value, acting, and the beautiful OST but the serious deviation from the source material is hella bugging me. I'm still pushing through to watch it though since I'm giving it a try and so far not liking it even though I'm on episode 9. TT__TT
