Guys, I read the novel last night and I'm confused. Does TTJ sleep with YXW's corpse after the Tower scene cause he says "Time to make YXW happy" and also the servants wouldn't dare interfere or ask him about all the weird stuff he's doing locked up in the house with his wife's corpse. Now, I'm not accusing him of anything, I just want to know if I've understood it right.

I just said what other people have been saying. I thought he raped her but then read the novel and he didn't. It wasn't exactly consensual but it wasn't rape too. After reading the novel last night, I updated my comment.

I just want to know *shrug*. Also, I read the novel last night and I don't think it's rape. It falls under the dubious consent category and both of them "want" to do it. He doesn't force her and also leaves her when she refuses him.

He's no angel here too. I mean, he allows his caretaker to be raped because she betrayed him. But he does get better, I agree. Hopefully, the upcoming angst doesn't involve him doing unspeakable things.
