... she NEVER told him her real name. He could yell it from the rooftops for thousands of years and her soul wouldn't…
but if he did go to the immortal realm, he'd have to wait 400 years for her to be born and another 100 years for her to recognise him. so his dum dum is a good thing here lol. it's like fate wants them to be together.
I agree with everything esp the first point! My heart broke when he begged her to trust him and that he didn't…
i was talking bout how he learnt to become a good emperor through his relationship with her. he allowed the yiyue guards to bring their family to the capital bc he saw how it made her happy, he bought the sweets from the kid on new years bc last year, YXW taught him how eventhough the products weren't good, they'll go home to be with their family. It's little things like this that show with time that he too can be softened and taught properly how to be a functional human being. Don't forget that YBC manipulated him into thinking that YXW tried to kill him. He STILL forgave her despite all that.
Imagine your lover just putting 6 nails into your heart on your wedding night and telling you that she never ever loved you. No wonder he was angry.
TTJ in the show is a lot better- he fills the bucket full of water when she can no longer see and is very weak. He sacrifices his lifespan and gives her the bracelet when YBC tries to kill her. He probably would have forgiven her if YXW confessed that she loved him and told him the entire truth about why she came and had to kill him eventhough she didn't want to.
Yes, he's childish when he made YXW hurt XL. That's why I said he needs a bit more time and consistent affirmation of her love to be truly healed from his trauma.
Also, YXW partly exchanged her essence with him bc she had no other way to prevent her from becoming Moxun. Yes, she felt guilty but like we've seen from the beginning, she's really someone who can put her feelings aside to get the job done.
all that waiting really paid off! this was heartbreaking. TTJ crying and telling her, "but i don't even know them,"…
I agree with everything esp the first point! My heart broke when he begged her to trust him and that he didn't know all these people from the future. Her love truly healed him but she just could not see that.
YXW's words hurt more than her actions ever did... never meet again? in every lifetime? i cant put the world's fate on a chance that you might actually be good? i've never loved you??? i know he went all yandere and made you kill XL but why hurt him more than what is required? why can't you be honest with you feelings, woman?
