God, I hate people like the 5th princess. You don’t treat your parents well but get jealous when someone else…
CSS was super polite to her the past few episodes and showed her respect at every meeting. She’s really trying to make this situation work and this sugar mommy is just fucking jealous cause she’ll never measure up to CSS in her parents’ eyes. This was so uncalled for.
God, I hate people like the 5th princess. You don’t treat your parents well but get jealous when someone else comes in and earns their affection by being more filial. And now, you try to kill her by pushing her into a river and dropping snakes into it for good measure. Pathetic Scum of the Earth.
Whatever vengeance CSS takes against the 5th princess, I will fully support her. This is outrageous!
CSS urging the Empress to be gentle and vulnerable while advising the Emperor is too funny 😂 She tells the Empress not to meet her husband’s gaze and not to look like she is there to criticise him. C’mon CSS, let’s see you act that way with LBY 😂😂
So no matter what other people think of Niao Niao. I will always love her faults and all
I roast her for her faults but she still is undoubtedly my favourite FL of all time. No one’s perfect and her flaws aren’t terrible— these are things she can overcome & grow out of.
Was it just me who found this weird?- Lady Rouyang walked in with her soldiers who easily overpowered the guards stationed outside NN's house. Didn't CSS' parents have a small army of soldiers under them who protected the family members in Part 1? So why wouldn't they stand guard during a very important day like CSS' engagement? Especially after that little tussle with Marchioness Chengyang. How could Lady Rouyang and her guards so easily overpower the ones stationed at the gate and where were the rest?
All those girls and princesses who bully her are also around that age and yet everyone rushes to roast them. Just…
I know. I never said CSS is in the clear. She should know that, it's common sense especially after LBY warned her several times. I only put forth that point since OP defended CSS using her age. 3rd Princess was involved in corruption, Crown Princess was in on replacing the seal along with CSS. Yet people only roast the princesses. Stupidity is stupidity. Whether you're our FL or not.
Also "petty jealousy and cat fights" can lead to huge consequences. Like when the 3rd princess blew incense in CSS face and the latter retaliated by setting her cloak on fire. How many people were implicated by her actions? If you've watched any historical drama, you know that in a lot of cases petty jealousy and palace politics overlap. CSS retaliates because she's bullied and drags other people into her mess. So yes, my point is valid.
Crown Princess, I see you. You deliberately called CSS over because you knew LBY drop by to help your husband and the only one who could convince him is CSS. You’re using CSS to control LBY while driving a wedge between them just for your own gains and CSS is too naive to see that.
You’re showing your true colours now.
When the Crown Princess & CSS were chased out by LBY, the Crown Princess says that she’s ready to sacrifice her life for her husband but was extremely hesitating about doing so when LBY suggested the same.
I don’t trust the Crown Princess one bit. I hope NN can see her for who she is in the near future.
But I need to say this ,,, Is this adopted son that important to the whole royal family?? I mean the whole king's…
Well, the Wen’s Empire only exists because of the Huo family, General Huo in particular who helped the Emperor and his family during very difficult times. Their entire lineage died except LBY and his mother and the Emperor feels very guilty about this which is why he adores and treats LBY as his own son. Based on what we’ve seen, Wen dotes on him more than his own children. He even gave him the tiger seals wayyy before he gave them to the CP so yes, he’s very important to the Emperor.
I reckon we’ll learn more about the Huo family and the Emperor’s connection in the later episodes and it will all make more sense. And how is too much exactly?? When NN has earned the Empress’ favour and the Emperor treats LBY as his own son? He simply wants to protect his adopted son and his fiancé from being humiliated by people who clearly don’t obey his orders. He also knows what a viper Lady Rouyang is during the family lunch on the Huo family Memorial Day. It’s obvious that she’ll be there to cause trouble on his adopted son’s most special day.
Advocating 3rd Prince for CP. He’s smarter, tough and decisive not to mention the cherry on the cake, he’s just & fair— eg he chose to reveal his own sister’s corruption to the Emperor.
I can't believe how stupid CSS has become. She is in a den of snakes and instead of trusting and listening to…
And in every episode someone asks her if she has feelings for LBY to which she always replies “I don’t know” or is simply unsure. I know it takes time to fall for someone but how do you not feel even a little for a guy who put his life on the line for you multiple times? She also complains all the time that she doesn’t know how to be a good wife to her future husband… If you don’t know then learn omg instead of always mistrusting and misunderstanding him. This makes the romantic smiling at each other moments a little hard to digest.
This guy kept his promise of having her back & protecting her no matter what she does so it’s only appropriate to be considerate of her own actions and their consequences. Not to mention she chooses to trust the crown princess who she knows nothing about instead of her own fiancé who has consistently proven to her that he can be trusted.
That poor actor has been typecast. The moment I see him pop up I know he is going to be a weak or bad or both…
The actor (Wang Zhuocheng) was great as the ruthless and arrogant tsundere Jiang Cheng from the Untamed. It's a pity they don't offer him more of such roles.
