Didn't read the novel but it seems like that is the case.
Makes sense. Our FL is however only 1500 years old so I wonder how it all fits in the story. Plus our leads do seem to be closely connected to each other and I don’t think it’s merely due to the body swap…
This is only my opinion so you don’t have to agree with everything.
Here’s what I think of the first 2 eps :
The CGI is far from perfect but it’s watchable. The set, costume designs, different realms, colour tones, aesthetics, ost, background music are all very unique and really refreshing. The plot seems interesting as well. It doesn’t remind me of any Xianxia I’ve watched. The ML is another ice block it seems but he’s intriguing and I like his design. The FL though… *sigh* is incredible childish, immature, so so SO stupid and gullible like she doesn’t know she’s being used, isn’t a good judge of character and can’t stand up for herself when she’s being bullied. Her voice is also annoying and she acts like a 12 year old. It’s just weird. The 2nd lead is one handsome fella though. His smiles are so beautiful- I’m going hard with second lead syndrome.
Definitely another weak warm ditsy girl from the heavens / strong smart cruel man from the demon realm trope.
There are a few logical plotholes here and there but that’s characteristic of Xianxia at this point.
