Self preservation? Are you fxcking kidding me? She took credit for YD's sacrifice and tries to steal her sister's…
It’s not just self preservation. It’s also jealousy and hypocrisy. She stole her identity and took credit for her sacrifice. She was always quick to believe the curator’s words and the gossip. Never did she trust her own sister. Also you don’t need to watch ep12 to understand this , it’s pretty evident from the beginning. You don’t give up your relationship with your sister for self preservation. Laughable.
I don’t think YY forgetting his memories of YD and becoming mortal is a good enough punishment tbh. He needs to feel the pain of losing her, live with it and rot away for a couple of centuries in his misery and regret. Him forgetting his pain is such a cop-out since I’m sure she’ll fall for him in the mortal realm and given her nature, she won’t be rude or cold to him as she won’t remember him too. Then after this life, they might become immortal again and carry out judgement against the side characters but YY will never truly know the VALUE of YD & the consequences of his INACTION.
This reminds me of TMOPB. Bai Qian jumps off the Terrace because Yehua took away her eyes to protect her and told everyone he didn’t believe her innocence eventhough he did. He faces a lot of consequences after that. Almost loses his soul. Loses his arm. Half his cultivation. Stands in the rain for a week & then freaking dies all to make up for his mistakes and regain BQ’s trust. Now that’s what I call a good suffering.
I definitely believe that what YY is doing to YD is worse than what YH did to BQ. Also, YD suffered a LOTT more than BQ so YY losing his memories really doesn’t cut it regardless of his behaviour in the mortal realm.
These are my 2 cents. Thanks for reading my essay.
Oh yeah, Zhixi & the Curator definitely framed YD and Zhixi is putting on airs to avoid suspicion & maintain her reputation. Cause when you think about it, the timing is really odd… How did the Curator know when to come forth and frame YD? It’s too perfect— exactly when YD’s alibi is shaky and she’s seen transforming into Zhixi & staying by Dijun’s side by her sister. Also how did she get the 4 petal lotus root or whatever if she didn’t get it from one of the two sisters? She couldn’t have done any of this without Zhixi’s help.. They also did plan on killing her in the previous scene and Zhixi wanted to separate YD from Dijun to avoid her from getting killed. It all adds up. It was really clever how they laid down the trap, our YD couldn’t even give proof without betraying her sister. Her kind nature became her weakness and her insecure sister her enemy.
I disagree lol. She ripped her heart out for him and doesn’t even know that he loves her. While at least he knows that she loves him and can find comfort in that. YD deserves better.
Now that I have seen it ,, I dont mind with whom she end up..I didnt like YY attitude here.
Honestly, I thought YY would be like Sifeng since in my eyes he’s my ideal man but YY is just soo cold. If she ends up with Yumo, I’ll accept it since he’s always been by her side. Idk how anyone could be indifferent to a person who ripped their heart out for you… #Justice4YD
