What a comment said:BY was consumed by his thirst for revenge. Not even CSS let alone anyone was able to reason with him. However, he felt no satisfaction after, only regrets. The moment he realized he had lost everything it was too late. He painfully paid the price when he was exiled to the frontier for 5 years. During which he reflected on his actions. His roller-coaster of emotions can be seen throughout these 5 years. Well, this is truly sad as he missed CSS the most. As for CSS, she finally accepted Yuanshanjian, hopefully to forget LBY, knowing fully well that this is impossible because she had learned to love and understand him. The same can be said for LBY. That is why we will see emotions running high between them, mostly in Season 2 when they meet again. Happy ending, yes but not b4 we c the effort they put in to finally forgive, admit their love for each other and fight for the right to be together.
