Awww, seeing his cameo in Skate Into Love makes me miss him so much !! Can you guys rank his dramas? For some reason, his dramas are so easy to watch even though some don't turn out great. Mine is:
I want to respect other ppl saying it's boring. Personally, I found the first episodes strong. I'm on ep 3 and this drama requires my full attention because there's no waste in their conversations, a reflection of good writing. If you find this boring, this drama might not be for you. It's doing a great job for its genre. What did people expect of the pacing? It's a story of growth and no one grows up fast.
The only drama of his (with eng subs available) which I couldn't finish is Stay With Me. His filmography is top-tier. I really like HIM and the projects he's been taking.
You know THIS HAD POTENTIAL but was ruined by an awful script and repetitive conflicts. Love the color palette and the aesthetics of this era. Cheongsams are just as charming as hanfu. Was really looking forward to Deng Lun and Li Yitong pairing. :/ This is watchable, but don't expect a polished story.
Am I the only one not disappointed with the ending? This is a spy drama, ofc it champions love for the country being the greatest love of all. Bicheng initially became a KMT spy for Chen Shen. In the end, she was willing to part from him to serve a greater purposeーto fight for the country. I didn't like her character at first, but she did redeem it in the end.
