why did do hoe push ju yeong away, the one person that truly loved him and was there for him...
He was abused for so long. People like that don't make the best decisions emotion wise.

Not everybody thinks like u. There are ppl who still can't go beyond the fact tht even if parents could be abusive…
"Not everyone can be cruel"
Wow! victim shaming?
U realize how many people have been messed up because of people saying its ok, its ur blood and all the other bs?

U reap what u sow and karma's a bitch
The dad had it coming.

The only person who is justified here is Yeong, Dohoe can go fall off that building of his for all I care. So,…
U shouldn't expect victims to forgive their abusers.

Besides blood isn't actually thicker than water. There is no reason why the father should be forgiven. He would have never changed if dohee never left.

The father certainly reaped what he sowed. Its karma for his sins.

However i do agree juyeong is innocent and dohee was wrong to ghost him.

When ur desperate people are willing to grasp straws. It certainly was a poor link. However, I personally would not be able to have a relationship with someone who abused my lover.

yes, but why does gay content have all these labels? it's obvious that the origin is homophobic, heterosexual…
well guess what? the world doesn't agree with u alright? These aren't definitions I created by magic. They have been there for 30-40 yrs. Also people have different opinions. Deal with it rather than coming after people just cuz they label something. GET A LIFE.

Do hi, obviously is still in love, dude even bought a building near ju yeong and admits that he's not ok after meeting him. I think the issue is that he feels guilt and hate. Prolly cuz his dad beat juyeong so much. I assume he might have met his mom and finally realized what its like to live with freedom. People who go thru this much abuse unfortunately don't turn out the best at using emotional intelligence.

Some people have asked why was Ju yeong still in contact with his master. The answer is simple and was told in the series. Its the "ONLY" connection he has to Dohi who went missing. Dohi might have misunderstood it, cuz he's blinded by his hate towards his dad.

Go young has problems of his own. He knows he's got issues, but I have hopes for his character because at the end he decided to focus on himself, he was simply scared to face the truth but after 10 yrs of relationships with different people he finally decides to acknowledge his mistakes.

Self realization isn't something so simple. I'm glad that he finally decides to work on himself after all this time, who knows maybe he might finally find the love of his life.

Walk the talk then. The other commentor argued with my much better than u anf i never insulted her. Take ur own advice u "holier art thou" dude.

And u never even knew how bl was started. Lack of knowledge and coming here to argue. Extremely unprepared. And it seems u lack comprehension skills " ONE ISN'T BETTER THAN THE OTHER, THEY ARE AMAZING IN THEIR OWN RIGHT" Thats what i always said. Stop getting triggered just cuz some people call it lgbtq.

Check the definition of BL.
Look up how BL started. Read about queer cinema. Read about the differences in BL and queer cinema. These aren't terms that were created yesrterday there are around 30-40 yrs ago.

Yea well the other commentor was literally telling me im classist, and prejudiced and part of the problem when there isnt even such a big problem. I hate false accusers and liars and will treat people the same way.

If u want to debate then learn and come. Coming to a debate unprepared not even knowing what the term means and then accusing people just cuz they disagree?

well thats the difference. Ones idealistic and is realistic. They have different labels and ur triggered just cuz someone named the idealistic one and realistic one? No ones out to get BL fans and make fun of them. Ur making this an issue when it hasn't been an issue for the last 40-50 yrs.
Why does it piss u off so much just cuz one is called BL and one is called LGBTQ? Labelling it harms no one and both are great in their respective terms, but they are different storywise. Sometimes i dont wanna watch a BL so i watch queer drama, and vice versa. It also helps with navigating thru dramas. so there.

What drugs are you on? Classism has nothing to do with this so maybe practice ur english. I just explained the difference. Storywise they are techincally different These definitions were created prolly before u were even born . I never grouped it into anything, but that's the truth. Educate urslef dumbass. AND i LOVE BOTH. I see no problem in both and find both amazing but different.
fyi these are terms used by the queer/lgbtq people themselves so maybe blame the community if its such a stick up ur ass. Maybe if u stop trying to be the victim saying BL fans are being attacked or whatever and people look down on BL fans or something people are NOT doing that.
I don't understand why u hate labels so much. Its not there to create any hate between fans. It simply describes what type of content it is. Stop inflating this and making it problem when its not.

Understand that some BL fans don't want to watch sad depressing stories -which is valid-. Its simply there to help u navigate. Sometimes i want realistic gay dramas that i could relate to. Not every BL is realistic.
Pls get this into ur thick skull.

This is why fans should learn a bit of history, especially if u watch alot of BL. BL's were catered towards straight women, who wanted to see men more emotional and expressive and how loving they were since the past was very cruel. It was kinda like a fetish. while now there are many gay people who watch BL its still dominated by straight women. Tell me how many gay people can realistically relate to kinnporsche? While its my favourite drama of all time it hardly addresses gay issues.
Now the tag LGBTQ was created in the 1990's or even earlier according to some, focused on directors and actors who wanted to portray the real life of gay struggles. These deal with much heavier topics.
Another correction is there are so many labels when its just BL and LGBTQ(aka queer). Besides alot of gay characters in movies in the past were portrayed as evil, anti religious etc.
PS: I love both BL and LBGTQ dramas. There's nothing inherently wrong with labels. Alot of this is because of misunderstanding and lack of knowledge about the genres.

Don't apologize, Its ok to have different opinions. Ofc the series let alone the MC isn't perfect and its fine to not like it. I personally loved it. As to the american mindset, korean gay movies are/can be very explicit, same goes for straight korean movies. Tv series are majorly mild while the movies can be totally different.

Is this show really sad....? I been hearing somethings (good things) about this show and I am really interested…
Well, its sad from the 2nd episode onwards. The ending is what some people call "bittersweet" or open ending. MC is satisfied (not to be confused with happy) even tho he didn't end up with anyone and still has his bunch of mazing friends there for him through everything.
There is a chance of happiness since one of his exes who he loved alot but had to break up cuz of long distance is coming back to korea so he might end up with him, if people interpret it that way,

The show in general talks of contracting HIV, death of people, internalized homophobia, mental hospitals, strained mom-son relationship, and breakups, regrets on breakups, married gay men.

i wanna live in an era where we dont make genres out of sexuality. i swear im gonna start calling heterosexual…
I disagree. It doesn't show a difference rather explains the meaning of what the drama is. I'd have trouble going through a streaming site if they didn't have these tags or genres. The genres show a difference story-wise not love. Besides these terms are used by most of the community themselves.

Man just let people call it what they want at this point. No need to get triggered if people label it as something or not. Besides the queer community itself has many labels under it. It's not the end of the world nor does it affect anyone.

He never got AIDs. AIDS is when hiv becomes too severe. There's a major difference. Like comparing a cold to pneumonia.
