Companies caring about employees?nah!!(applies universally to all sectors)
It's cuz at least in Europe and U.S/Canada there's at least laws that protect employees to some extent. China, Korea, Japan has some laws, but it's not really enforced and people end up being overworked.
Second episode of “Perfect Crown” finished, and there’s a lot to say. First of all, what kind of budget…
ngl i haven't watched all of the kdramas out there yet, but the level of script writing and directing for my mister and wlgyt are top 5% at least of all time. I don't think we'll get those scripts anytime soon (at least from what i've seen in 2025 and 2026) :C
hong suzu was torn to shreds over her bland acting, let's see if people keep the same energy for byeon woo seok…
I mean he is tall and handsome, so I do like seeing him on my screen lol. His acting is good enough to have chemistry with both FL in lovely runner and with IU in this, I think it's good enough for me. If the day comes where he takes a more serious drama and have the same acting, I think that's the day I won't like him
Where did you see hate? Some people had a few reservations, but nothing major. The ratings are generally good…
I think there was a lot of hate when ep1 came out especially on X. Probably because we have IU and Byeon Woo Seok and it was hyped too much, but in reality it's just a nice little romcom
nah, tangerine is one of the best (unbiased).... this one seems promising and... 8.6 is good for the start as…
Perfect Crown based on the first episode I think I can describe it well using the most Chinese description. 下饭. It's a good drama to watch while eating XD. I think you can actually kind of see it as a Disney show, where the visual, cast, and cinematography is more of what drives the show, where the plot is just there with nothing special and nothing controversial. My best guess based on the first episode though, maybe it could surprise me somehow later on.

I didn't watch it for the actors either, I only knew IU's name at that point and seen her in another drama My Mister (another masterpiece btw), but I didn't have any particular feelings about her. I didn't know who Park Bo Gum was actually or any of the other casts at all (never seen them, never heard of them).

WLGYT rating is not overrated at all, you'd know if you just watch the first episode. It's a very profound piece that is split into four chapters that is a metaphor for the four seasons of life, and it tells the story of three generations of people. The main selling point is the interactions and love between parents and their children, it's a very realistic drama.
Visuals stunning all around, IU beautiful and BWS handsome as expected, and very beautiful shots and cinematography. Acting was okay although some scenes felt slightly off, but nothing that really affected immersion. Story seems pretty predictable ngl but that's a romcom for you. It probably won't be a show that changes my life, but it could be a fun watch if everything goes smoothly.
I scrolled for quite a while reading some comments, just to come across a comment that is so annoyingly aggressive.Dear…
Btw that person hates Korea and K-dramas for some political reason as they idolize China, so I would take what they said with a grain of salt. I don't know when he started appreciating IU as an actress when he rates all of her dramas 1 stars. Maybe they were secretly enjoying K-dramas for once but couldn't come to terms with his new interest lol
i'd be infuriated, but that won't make the us government do anything. at least the korean gov known to be corrupt is doing something useful (who knows about other aspects)
If you think Koreans are being petty about this, just imagine Elon Musk evading taxes when he has hundreds of billions of dollars, it's basically the same situation.
I'm conflicted whether I'd should watch it or not. I personally don't like dramas that are slow paced that much, but I also love dramas with deeper meaning to it. It also has a 9.4 w/ over a million ratings on Douban and I do trust the rating. We'll see if I get to it...
