I think he looks HOT with long hair lol. Its really funny there is a clear devide: people either love it or hate it. (I Just fantsise running my hands through that long hair of his lol), he looks soooo pretty (depends if u like the pretty look on a male).
Once she returns does he believe her? What epi is that? How many episodes do we see them together in the future?…
The ending is a bit vague (although its happy). We see them together in the future in the last episode. There is a scene of them together with wedding rings. Them being old is just dressing up and pretending to grow old together as they r unsure if they will actually meet each other again (meeting in the future is not granteed).

Get past the first episode and its worth the watch. Especially if you like ML he is very fun (and Hansome) to watch. It has it flaws like most Chinese dramas. Just enjoy the ride after all it is meant to be a fluffy rom-com. Im re-watching while im wating for the remaining subs, which is very rare for me!
By the end of the story, I feel we just have to look passed everything and move on because there's not much point…

I have watched ep 18 to 24 on raw and my chinese non existence. However I thought it may be about 5 to 7 years that FL arrives. Caus the office workers look like they have a son who is about 5/6 and another baby is on the way. Do they actually specify? Edit.....I think it was 10 years later but it was done/implied really badly. Agree the ending was a bit of a mess. Few questions: 1. Do we ever find out who left the message on FL phone to help ML in the first place? 2. And why go to all the bother to go back in time to do it? Could they not just help ML in 2020. 3. If older FL is in 2010 for 3 months surly somone will be wondering where she is in 2020? 4. Im sure time travel hasnt been invented yet or use so causually. Mayb FL should have been fron 2030 5. Agree with other posters on here, when did FL ever show interest in writng , and all of the sudden becones a author? 6. What the heck is the lifetime working contract thingy that ML keeps asking FL to sign (and why was he so happy that she did in the end)? Edit... 7. Feel that surely ML would have gone on some dates or had some girlfriends (but obviously still love FL).10 years is a long time to stay celibate especially for somone in their prime youth lol

I did enjoy the main leads interactions and banter and loved how good looking and funny Li Hongyi is in this. I actually enjoyed the office problems that came up and how things were resolved. Loved the farther and son relationship, was really nice to see that they loved each other. The acting was ok as I think they were practically being themselves. I felt the love that ML had for female lead but felt the FL actress didnt seem to give the same impressions, slightly one sided.
Things I wished: 1. Would have been nice to resolve issues with ML and half brother. Dont like the fact they left it so toxic, they r family after all and I did feel sorry for the brother. The writers wrote him very 1 dimensial and just a bad person. So that our ML can look like the knight in shining armour. 2. I wish there was more kissing/cuddleling and at least 1 bedding scene. Edit ...There was a bedding scene but blink and you would have missed it (like I did lol). 3. Wish they could have resolved the two FL being in the same time line. Would just caus two many paradoxs.
Lots of red herrings: 1. There is suppose to be a apartment that is hers. They could have incorporated it the ending somehow. Edit.....they did just that (lol I only watched the ending raw at the time and had no idea what they were saying). 2. The athlea (flower) project look like it was going somewhere and could have been incorporated in the future somehow. 3. Thought the scene with them all dressed up old was just to throw us views off. Would have veen nice if that was the future selfs instead. 4. Felt sometimes there was an undertone of FL being too much of a mother figure to ML. Luckily most of the time it steered away from that. 5. The actress played the younger self a bit cringy sometimes. Felt like trying to hard to be young. 6. What the heck the office worker was the brother of the female director all along. Was there not a conflict of interest somewhere?
Overall I enjoyed it, and maybe hope for a 2nd season to answer all these questions.

I love the ost too. He is got such a lovely voice. I love his ost from Love better than immortality. I have those on repeat on my play list. Looking forward to more ost to come. He normally sings in all his dramas he does.
Glad its a happy ending but hate bad logic. Why do the writers do this? Surly their job is to write logically in the first place. Dont wont any spoilers but is it satisfying ending even with bad logic? There r so many dramas that start well but end badly. Thats why I am very picky with dramas (only picked this up caus I liked ML) but my expectations was low, so was surprised I have enjoyed this drama this much.

I watched most of 'the romance of tiger and rose'. It started really well but than i got bored near the end. Also I just dont rate the female actress that much, although I give her credit this was probably her best work to date.
Not that bothered about 'You are my Destiny' as not really intrested in the cast. I enjoyed 'Eternal love 1 and 2' but werent really invested in the ML or FL. Im just really picky with dramas. I acidently clicked on "Love better than Immortality' and fell in love with Li Hongyi there. Thought he was hot and acting was great in there so been following him on and off.

Yes I agree with you, especially about yonger/past and older/future FL look exactly the same (they even have the same hair colour *face palms*. I even got a little confused when the younger FL broke up with her boyfriend, there were a few scenes after which I didn't know which FL it was suppose to be. They could have at least used a wig or the classic glasses lol. However I do know some really immature 23 years old so can bye that she is this way, which is one of the reasons ger boyfriend broke up with her. Yeah the affecting the future larky is a little bit worrisome, Im hoping it pans out ok in the end (trying not to analyse time travel too much as it blows my mind lol). Plus this drama is a rom-com so not expected full on science here. Just enjoying how gorgeously hansome the ML is, and hopefully the romance doesn't dissapoint. Re younger/past FL moving in with ML is a bit troublesome, hopefully they dont go down the fall in love with younger self plot caus I will be very annoyed as it makes the romance between future FL wasted (even though technically they r the same person). I think the future FL is trying to push that romance caus she knows she cant be in the smae time line as ML, so they can at least sort of be together when she goes back to the future. Hopefully the script writers are just tricking us and we will get a satisfactory (I think) good/happy ending.
Ep 13 and 14 is starting to really hot up/get serious for the ML and 2nd ML in a business bidding war. Seriously dont know who is gonna win this one as we r just over half way in the drama. Now have to wait for another week before the next episodes, this is getting painful (should have waited for all of it to air before I started, and now im addicted!) Actually was addicted by episode 3 haha!

Wow thank you so much for ur analysis of the ending. I was thinking on the same lines but hadnt put it down on paper yet. I was thinking more ending 1 but I like the twist of ending 4. I just dont want and ending 3 as i think that is a cop out. I have watched ep 13 and 14 and it looks a bit like ending number 3 but hopefully its the script writers tricking us to think that way. Caus if it is ending 3, feel that the romance built up between future FL was wasted. What ever happens I think it will be a happy ending. Ps. To actually answer the orginal post, wherver there is a love triangle: there could be a love triangle between younger Fl and older FL with ML ?
