My fav episode so far too! Intimate scene done so well. Just enough romance mix with a bit of sexy skinship that doesn't just stop at the kissing 💋.

Oh yes, logicaly that could make sense! The titles of the scrolls could b clues ie Herb volume (plants). Architecture ie shape of land. Climate self explanatory. What are the other scrolls called?

Agree, although in this drama they were not brave enough to have FL sleep with NZ or RW before sleeping with ML. Considering she married them (we dont know 100% sure yet she marries RW). So FL is still a virgin 🤦🏻‍♀️ and we dont know regarding ML (do we consider him a virgin too 🤣). Its just ridiculous this purity larky🤷‍♀️

Agree with all ur points. Im seated for the ML and FL sizzling chemistry (dont care for 2nd couple). Its very rare to get that kind of palpable chemistry in Cdrama land. We aint finish with the kisses yet at least 2 more and a bedding scene to come🥵

Agree the scheduling 1 a day is incredible frustrating and kills the momentum 😤.

I have a hunch the armour the FL made for ML saves the day when she stabs him. FL told him to wear it at all times so I think she knows this but stabs him partly due to his betrayal, (yet doesn't want him to die caus she loves him). Also she was trying to save him from the Lord.

Yes agreed. Missed opportunity. With LYN it would have been a epic photo shoot. Although I gotta say first time I actually think LSS looks HOT. She notmally plays it safe but she is on fire 🔥 in this photo shoot.

Agree. I think its one of his better acted dramas of his or actually his best. His micro expressions and suffering were on point and he looked so earthreal doing it! I would say definitely better than in TBoY as much as I love him in that too. I hope he carries on improving (I want to see more passhion in his kissing scenes🤭 ) I look forward to his future dramas.

Lol I know that this is drama land and so alot of inconsistencies/un logical things happen so dont think about it too much. I just wanted to get any opportunity to see LHY half naked than im happy 🤭

I think there was a missed opportunity here (or mayb too risque for cencership) when YX bit him on his shoulder in the coffin to actually undress the area and not just bite through clothes lol. That would have to be a v strong bite to leave that kind of markins biteing theough 3/4 layers of clothing 🤦🏻‍♀️

Oh and could anyone tell me what the so called 'big' twist/revelation that LHY was talking about in one of his interviews. Mayb its just me as I have no idea?
Ps we didnt actually get (to see) a real wedding after all that🤦🏻‍♀️

What I thought might have been a good twist/ending was if BY was actually an immortal/fairy too and somehow being on earth was his (and YX) cultivation. They could than have them live in heaven happily ever after 😆

Agree. DGZ had scorching chemistry with CFT in Maids revenge but im not so sure he can repeat that here.
I havnt watch this yet as I dont want to chase this and binge instead.

So many things to say so I will try to break it down.

The positives of the drama;
*Li Hongyi and Haung Ri Ying made this drama. I came here for LHY but actually also fell in love with FL. They both were beautiful
*The cinematography of some senes were just stunning
*Watching LHY get half naked many of times. Thank you director 😚🙈
*LHY suffering was just delicious
*I think LHY in this drama shows that he does have range in his acting. I know he plays cold/stoic characters well but he was also very good with all his suffering micro expressions.
*Lots of kissing scenes and sugar everywhere in the 2nd half of drama
*Was funny where BY had to do the chasing of YX in the end
*There was chemistry between the leads
*Happy ending and Baby on the way 😁

Things not so good;
*First half of drama was a mess editing/directing IMO could have been told better
*2ML was anoying character and over the top (although pretty to look at). I dont understand how he could chase the FL all over the place and have enough energy to rule the world🤷‍♀️.
* The secondary couple were quite sweet but not enough build up for them liking each other (and suprisingly I would have liked a bit more screen time to develope them a bit more)
* Although kiss scenes were sweet not passionate enough for me (and more so on LHY side. I dont know why maybe he was shy or as somone said trying to keep PG)
*Although there was chemistry I think not enough chemistry to satisfy/show that they were madly in love for me. I always felt something holding back.
*Although I liked LHY OST and surprisingly I liked the opening too (I think im the only one too by the comments here lol) the rest of the OST was meh
*The ending for me felt anticlimactic.

Rant about ending....
*YX just suddenly rememberes everything after just 5 mins when BY shows up was stupid. I hated that she lost her memory again. They could just have finished on trapping themselves in coffin and curse lifted after some time and than living happily ever after. What was the point of being transported to another place no logical reasoning behind that at all.
*No follow up on how a mortal and fairy (1)make a baby (2)grow old together considering BY will age and die, YX doesnt? Maybe she just feeds him herself every so often to maintain immortality? How does she regenerate (plant back in the ground once in awhile? ).
I know this is drama land but sometimes the gaping plot holes are annoying.

Overall I do love this drama (latter half mostly) and it kept me hooked and made me have butterflies watching it so Im for one so glad that Youku decide to air this on the back of TBoY otherwise we wouldnt have never seen this in the light of day. I was always a big fan of LHY but now im down the rabbit hole of obsession all things Li Hongyi 🥰. Im so happy that he is getting recognition and popular now and wish him all the best in his career (which I will b following closely) but also I wish that he finds true love and live a happy life.

Side note: ML and 2ML had moments that were quite shippable lol I wouldnt have minded if this was a BL but I do like FL so glad ML/FL ended up together. LHY seems to have more chemistry with his Male counterparts, although he keeps saying he likes girls. I just sometimes wonder 🤔 (and this is perfectly ok with me as long as he is happy)

Also a big thankyou for everyones comments on MDL it was very entertaining to see what everyone else was thinking. Felt like one big happy Wulin Heroes family. Xxx
