ymynym

i've been watching three dramas straight with liu yuning as the male lead but he is never boring lol

yeah! he is either evil or just naively good. definitely not enough resourcefulness to survive the throne war

i'm foregoing princess' gambit for this one bcs this drama is comedy but refreshingly new. princess gambit is definitely on the opposite spectrum of genre from this one and has quite intriguing plot but it's nothing really new

song yimeng is truly a smart and resourceful female lead lol
it's truly what i expected from a modern woman transmigrated to a novel set in ancient times.

the one where she fell from the wall is also very 'one and only'. i think it's a deliberate production choice.

THIS IS SO GOOD i was thrown off by your classic cdrama trope plot description and the trailer at the beginning. decided to try watching it bcs of liu yuning and stayed for everything else lol

a very good production all over i would say

really love how unapologetically funny this drama is.

iqiyi dramas usually do not air on viki T_T

currently on ep 2. did they really kill uncle samsik at the end? so their reconstruction project failed?

i'm so stressed out at Livestream of death episode because.... they seemed to wear designer clothes and just casually waded through water, getting sprayed with questionable liquid...

i'm so confused. the first moment they are doing some sort of reunion? then they're suddenly fishing skeletons from the lake???? and the next moment they're cooking???? this is like a bunch of variety show thrown into one lol
love the group chemistry though! their quips are so funny

welp, it's not finished yet!

for starters, which episode is the best to watch in this season?

finale. i don't need them riding horses prancing around in a windows xp wallpaper T_T

no. there's character death on ep 35 but at least that one death made sense.

on ep 37 and i can finally understand why you thought so.

currently on ep 37 and WTF IS THAT WRITING??? the plot doesn't make sense at all! the decisions the characters made are completely unexpected (in a bad way).
why cdramas keep destroying their own plot at the last act it's completely beyond me.

just realized two of my top 5 cdrama osts are performed by liu yuning lol WHERE HAVE I BEEN

thank you!
