currently on ep 37 and WTF IS THAT WRITING??? the plot doesn't make sense at all! the decisions the characters made are completely unexpected (in a bad way).
why cdramas keep destroying their own plot at the last act it's completely beyond me.

just read liu yuning's mini profile in AJTL production notes and WHAT DO YOU MEAN HE DOESNT RELEASE PHYSICAL ALBUMS?!!! in these heyday of album bulk sales that often ended up trashed... this guy really has his priorities straight. -i know, of all things amazing of liu yuning, this one fact is the deal breaker for me to be his fan lol-

bailu already has recognizable voice. why do they have to dub her? it's jarring seeing her face but the voice that came out is different.

watching this with knowledge that some characters are going to die really upped the thrill lol i kept thinking of possible way the plot could go wrong in every single episode.

for those who are struggling to watch this, in my experience i started to see the charm on ep. 5 might be the case for you too!

ep 3 and the power ranger intro scene of six realm hall really turn the genre into comedy lol

i don't recommend it. the story is bad. if you want more zhang jingyi i'd recommend blossom in adversity.

ep 32 so i'm still in happy realm with our lead characters uniting lol but have to comment on the bed scene lol the camera language and the acting choice is something very new to me and i've been watching cdramas for so long lol -i dont watch short dramas though, and i heard they have crazy bed scenes so i can't compare-
