this one is a bit boring compared to the older versions though. Personally, I think this series was interesting because of Youn Yuhjung and she's not in this spin-off. but maybe I'm biased because i watch the show in 2x speed.

if you don't like the pacing on the first episodes then you're not going to enjoy the pacing of the whole drama lol just play it in 2x speed just to see the leads being a relationship goal.

the writer's best adaptation drama would be one and only + forever and ever. but that too is draggy and have recognizable pattern with this one. when it comes to drama adapted by that writer's work, my player is default to playing vids in 3x speed.

i think lin yiyang's definition of 'broke' and 'poor student' is quite different from mine lol

it's good and all but idk was it the filter or something? somehow the show feels detached with the issue it is taking.

what convinced me to keep watching this is the bts vids wandering around in twitter! Gods why are they so lovey dovey lol it's even cuter than the scenes in the drama.

i have problems with the scores. not the songs.

the soundtrack is good but i hate the scores that playing during the scenes. it made the show look like a cheap p*rn at worst, and 2010s dramas at best lol

I'm watching this for Wulei and Zhao Jinmai too! I love their previous works and an article mentioned both are top scorer in their acting schools. I came bringing huge expectations on their acting and so far i'm not disappointed.

that's probably why! I think if it was set in the US it'll be a lot easier to suspend the disbelief.

was it never mentioned in the drama that they are in finland? I assumed so because they name the city Helsin and one of them goes to helsinki university lol

idk does diaspora meet each other that easy? is english spoken that much in finland? it was set in finland but i think i don't see much of finland lol
i feel like the drama could be filmed anywhere else and it would make the drama much more realistic
