Half the way through the series, I can literally count how many times Zhang Ling He screens presence. If you're…
it's likely because of the censorship. they had to cut down almost half of the drama weren't they? at that point they'd most likely save scenes that would contribute to better story line instead of focusing on character screentime.
currently on ep 2. to me the image of married couple is too seared on my mind when i see these two so both playing high schoolers looked iffy in my eyes. feels like they should've changed the characters' age to university or something.
I also didn't like the first ep. but trust me it WILL GET BETTERIt's not the most jaw dropping story in C land…
the director's previous work was good, that's why i'm thinking of pushing it through. but unlike 'always home' i didn't see any promising point on the first eps.
i reallly want to watch this but i just tried 1st episode and I can't stand the ugly filter T_T can someone tell me is this the kind of drama where if you don't like 1st ep then youre just not going to like it? or is this the kind of drama where it will get better in later eps?
i would say chu guihong is one of the most well-written villains in cdrama. we didn't sympathize with his descent to madness but the writers packed enough backstory to make us understand the drive behind his choices. i would even go as far as CGH is written better than SYM.
I CAN'T BELIEVE CHU GUIHONG JUST DIED LIKE THAT i was fully expecting he'll bring song yimeng down with him lol but i guess we're already on ep 40 and have no time for that
at what episode do you think it got better?
well, fic writers let's gooooo!
