girl be going anywhere and everywhere making friends with everyone even the one who at first didnt like her. it’s not just she tried to make jiang li known to and make closure to both sides of the families and the public. it’s her true self (xue fang fei) that actually behold such good attributes.
so much fun watching ep16. i laughed and giggled alot. they’re so cute together. the way he always come saving (aka helping) her at the perfect time. he that type of guy who won’t asked you to stop doing something, he’ll be there cheering for you and supporting you or even joining you in the game. and the way his gaze keep searching for her, arghhh im down bad for these two.
love that a’li is so smart. even in drunkenness, she tried to play smart and be cunning. i laughed a lot watching the boss of the dark market dumbfounded because of a’li keep putting up the firestick until he can no longer heard the dice movement. she’s truly had the gut 🤣🤣
despite little interactions between the main leads, we can see this slow interaction creates more sensational moments for both of them. im liking the chemistry! the way he smiled watching her from a far, looking so proud over her smart brain. yes, we need this kind of supportive man in our life.

yeah, it’s a sad ending (and it’s really my cup of tea). but in terms of plot wise, it does have the semblance with the double. i liked everything in it, but yeah it’s really sad at the end.
still remember that c-netz used to criticise wu jinyan because the story of yanxi palace become a hit drama of her but after that her popularity fades out slowly. no other drama (featuring her) that becomes a hit as much as story of yanxi palace.
and now, im so glad she back to her element. I think this drama suited her alot in terms of acting wise and her persona. cant wait for her next drama, kill me love me with liu xue yi. I hope that one can be another hit drama for her too. now, instead of recognises her as ying lou, i can called her jiang li/xue fang fei.
all this can be another evident that to create a success and popular drama is not just an overnight work, it takes a year or even years to produce one. surely, her hard work paid off now.

exactly! that’s why i partially hated her too. she’s on jiang li side but whenever the mom said something, she goes quiet and have nothing to say. her words definitely weighs some power, but little she can do to put jiang li where she really belongs.
the trauma, the guilt, the sufferings were well portrayed in this drama. with each step taken, with each gazing between shen yurong & xff always bring back to the sin shen yurong committed.
the flashbacks in here is so necessary that i didnt mind it playing over and over. each bearing with the resentment, misery, anger and revenge for xff. and it also haunted shen yurong with guilt and fear. both actress & actor really acted well for all this emotions. kudos 👏🏻
The Jiang family manor is a really dangerous place to be. FL has to always be one step ahead.

out of so many villainous i have seen in cdrama. this princess wanning really the one who possess the psychotic symptoms the most. atp, the emperor should have send her to mental hospital already.
