love the balance between the two main couple. one is full flirty, sizzling moments and the other, full of longing, regrets, and the old vibe couple. i specifically love Chen Duling improvements in acting, been watching her since TTEOM, MJTY, HJ, TG and FOF, i can say that she improved a lot. the eyes’ acting spoke her grieving, longing, her sadness towards the life she couldn’t lived. and i’m here for the festive angst.
cant wait for more revelation. knowing how GJM never failed to surprise his audiences, so i will just watch and see things unravel!
(side note; i binge watching this in two days. now im joining the crowd with the waiting game for one ep per day 😂).
a love so beautiful— ‘i can fix him!’ love so deep, it transcends across three ‘turn back’ times. i love the fact they made her forget her past life memories and let her create a new one with a clean slate. and for him to remember all the past lives, it seems fair as if to give him a good reminder not to repeat the same mistakes.
and i’d liked to convince myself that even in that first life, in the midst of those burning jealousy, forced and constant threats towards her, there’s a quiet love burning for her. he always loves her, and that in itself change him for a better person.
kudos to both jerome and landou, landou is my fav princes yanying in a journey to love (yes, go and watch it if you haven’t). jun che & yinying were well portrayed, i just love whatever was wrong with their dynamic as a couple, love and hatred intertwined but love as always, wins it all.
honorary mentions to our side couple, that Sang Li is so gorgeous and her acting was so on point, cant help to always root for her.
Overall, it’s a decent drama— worthy to binge. it is something you watch to pass the time and able to fall in love with all these grey characters and rooting for them to redeem themselves. 8.5 ⭐️

the production must invest a lot in this short drama because it screams expensive and beautiful. and that ep1, wow!! some crazy scenes they were *jaw drop*
just finished watching this drama. cried bucket of tears, what a ride! though, there’s certain part i wish they didn’t have to make in this drama, still it was a good watch. i didnt regret shedding tears for them. the acting were amazing from all these great veteran actors, actresses as well as the supporting actors. honorary mentioned to Xing Fei, she’s truly did a great job as Ning Susu. i love her character so much, my heart ache for her.
this is a heavy drama to watch, for all the messiness, the emotional ride, but it’s beautiful and poignant, truly hits close to home for those who appreciate its values. it’s not just a piece of land, it’s blood, sweat, tears, pride and joy for the farmers.
finished watching this drama few days ago. still collecting thoughts about it. i absolutely down bad for this type of genre, what a bittersweet journey. if only adults can be the real adults, these two main leads won’t suffered in their youths. with that being said, it wasn’t a flawless drama but the great things outnumbered the bad ones. i shed big fat tears for them, for the sacrifices they’d made, for the love they cherished, for the bond-family they created together, it’s love that surpassed the romance, it’s the highest form of love, love where you expect nothing in return.
this is so underrated. i hope more ppl can watch this, truly a well made investigation crime drama. the messages successfully conveyed, almost flawless execution, remarkable acting from both the youngsters and the veteran actors. love the main leads and the chemistry they had, Lian Hai Ping was so well portrayed by Chen Jia Bin. kudos to the actor. a solid 9!

Moonlovers fan here too. love it as well, i love the angst. you shoud watch the original version of moonlovers, bu bu jing xin (scarlet heart cversion). they even have the continuation of modern days. and also the one i suggest earlier, love and redemption is one of the best xianxia and the angsty just angstying. back then, cdrama used to have longer eps, imagine the headaches haha.

i suggest you to suffer first before dive into the sweetness haha. oh, i see. I thought you want to know the drama related to ML, Liu Yuning. Well, i think you can watch Love and Redemption, got the same characterization as Nan Heng.
i honestly couldn’t remember much, but most of Chinese Drama, either wuxia/xianxia or historical costumes, mostly the ML always suffered 😂 so, it’s hard to pick one.
