Nan Heng from being the most hated character in the beginning (ori script) to the most beloved male lead at the end. this show, as long as you’re the who hold the pen, you can write your own ending— the best one even 🤍

oh, i got what you mean. it perhaps because she’s doing satire for some part of Bai Lu dramas like The One & Only. so maybe, the costumes she wore kinda look similar or styled just like Bai Lu.

yeah, plotwise is not my cup tea. oh dont mentioned about the costumes, it looks cheap. the heavenly realm costumes look so funny and cheap especially for the actors. maybe, they don’t really invest in the costumes dept. Bailu costumes is the most decent one there.

I don’t really fond of costumes in feud, perhaps because they’re xianxia drama— so the godly costumes seems a bit too bland compared to yimeng extravagant wardrobes.

yes, yes. most watchers only wanted the likeable FL from the get-go but i find it really boring if we always get the same typical characterisation of FL. yes, i at times, can’t deny that i feel annoyed by her. but I understand where she’s coming from. it’s not easy to survive in an unfamiliar setting with the knowledge about the future— the tragedy that going to befalls on her. but after all that she went through, when she realized that the old Nan Heng & the new one is complete different, she also fights for him. and those time, i truly glad i didn’t give up on her.
same, it’s my first time watching Li Yitong, and i’ve been wondering where am i all this time— I didn’t even find her on screen that much. truly glad that I decided to watch this one. i usually didn’t watch back to back drama from the same actor/actress. but thanks to Liu Yuning, i met Li Yitong. hope we can see them reunite again in the future.

idk if you watch the drama by skipping some scenes or not, but clearly you missed some points. she knew how to ride horse because she learned with chaijing (the helper trained her riding the horse before they travel to find her family). she knew about the riddles, poems and smart about strategies because her foster dad made/forced her to read countless of books.
while Liu Yuning shines brighter and brighter in his role as Nan Heng (words it’s not enough to PRAISE him— he’s absolute the best as Nan Heng).
let’s also give the same credit to Li Yitong. Song Yimeng aka Song XiaoYu, excellently portrayed by Li Yitong. our gorgeous Mrs.Li is so underrated. from a laid back girl who wants nothing but living a rich, lazy life— away from PPT, POA and evil male lead to a brave female lead who (….) herself in order to change the script and fight for what matters the most. Li Yitong successfully conveyed the annoying, stubborn, full of prejudices girl yet having so much compassion to the people around her. i love her annoying-ness, cuteness, her outspokenness, her beautiful and gorgeous wardrobe, the hair pieces, the constant beating ‘you cant die..”, and all that funny scenes she portrayed (ep1 made me fall in love with her— and till the last episode my love just keep growing for our FL). i will be looking forward for more of Li Yitong costumes drama.

finally completed the drama! arghh, i love them to bits. liu yuning got the best loyal people behind his back everytime. best squads for the best male lead! ADWAD has the best and perfect ending, my fav drama in 2025 so far.

each life, perfectly portrayed, embodied two people.. the one who live the life itself, and portrayed the desperation of i jae. i absolutely love the fixer, jae wook and do hyun parts. they nailed their characters, it packed with actions and also filled with love.
Also great to see that Song Yude is the best father in drama land! The typical troupe is to have the noble families…
i love seeing him always trying to be a neutral but when he got a good reason to pick a side, he makes sure it’s worthy of his decision. just like at the end, he agreed with Nan Heng being his son in law. like he’s selfish for the sake of his own family and i like that.
in my textbook, he’s handsome. and if people think otherwise, well then beauty is subjective.

yeah, i agreed with you that probably will likely to happen. i honestly can’t predict what will happen for the remaining eps, so many good theories and somehow it feels like we’re all become scriptwriter trying to write the ending.
