my favorite scenes in this drama which is when wanning died and shen yurong died. i dont know how the cameramen worked for those scenes, but it was excellent and well portrayed. heartaches for the tragic ending for both our villainous. ending they both deserved. so far, they are my favourite villains, broken and heartless. both actor and actress who portrayed as syr and wanning deserved awards for their performances. great acting for their respective roles!

not yet watching the last 5 episodes + special ep. coming just to see how’s everyone doing. but woah, im stunned..the rating become solid 9. uwuu, im so proud of this drama. well deserved! the cast specifically work very hard and it’s their excellent performance that gets this drama soaring to its popularity. all the best wu jinyan & wang xingyue for your upcoming drama, im looking forward to each one of it.

Wanning 😭my heart break for her at this scene. knowing she wanted so much to have this baby, hers and shen yurong. i cant imagine how she able to face when she finally know that the baby will no longer there. (it’s never been there in the first place). like i know she deserved it for all the evil deeds she had done. but her dream to be a mother for shen yurong’s child and knowing it’s impossible for her to pregnant again, she might thought that this is the miracle only come once to her. oh wanning, never trust a guy who survived knocking his own wife and buried her alive.
oh, now we know why wanning became the person she is right now. i thought all this time she’s just being obsessed towards syr and hated to be sent as a peacemaker bride. oh, how cruel world can be. and now we can see, she actually isnt so heartless after all. she just the victim that turned to be a perpetrator. she hurt people because she’s hurt. still, that doesn’t justify her actions.
and now her pawn, became her nemesis and her poison. how the table turns. we all thought that she’s the real evil, the psycho who can’t be healed. but see, those empty eyes of shen yurong bears more evil than her. what a plot twist!
how interesting this drama slowly reveals that’s the real villain is actually shen yurong. as smart and cunning wanning can be, she actually has a heart that can be fooled. but syr can see the trick behind duke su move. and i love when wanning said, you can survive by killing xue fangfei but duke su willing to die for her. oh, that’s deep!
syr wont sit still, i know he tried to get back xff now out of his jealousy towards duke su. he can see clearly there’s mutual love between xff and duke su. that would be his cross!

true. i love the actor’s acting. surely the most complicated character in this drama. not even wanning can beat him, at least we know that wanning has this only darker side of her. and yeah, i hope there’s redeeming arc for him at the end.
and yes, i think he does really loved his wife. it’s just he’s stupid enough to kill her and betrayed her. cant wait for the closure between him & xff. though i hated him because what he did is beyond redeeming point, i cant deny that there’s a moment.. i feel bad for him.
i love the heated intensity between xue fangfei and SYR. this lover to enemy troupe really getting intense and intense. XFF really determined to drive SYR crazy. and the guy this close 🤏🏻 losing his sanity.
not xue fangfei & the students at hanlin academy been fooling around SYR. poor guy trying his best to avoid xff or making xff give up on performing qin. but at the mentioned of his deceased wife, his heart got softened and abandoned all those red lines and crossed it. oh shen yurong, you surely playing with fire now. this will get you in the deepest pit of hell.
