Great Drama To Watch
I was captivated by this drama. Some of the episodes really hit home. I love the explanation of the stress and anxiety that some feel about themselves that makes them want to end their life. I totally understand. Each episode brought a new story with great new characters and actors. The belief that suicide is a sin, to me is what I have been taught. Even dough I have been there were you do not think of what happen at the afterlife, I now think differently because there is someone I want to see when I get there. So even when my mind goes their I will not do it because of that someone I want to meet. I love every character in this drama and how the story were brought together. Cute and Silly, makes You Giggle !!!!!!!
It is cute short drama. I like the way the romance develops. The FL is wonderful and strong with her own mind and point of view but also has her innocence and charisma. The chemistry between the FL and the ML is great. The other characters add more to the story especially the second couple. As I hate obsessive characters especially female, I like how the writer never let the obsessive girl take control of any of the situations. The actors performance was very good and I liked the story. To Much A Cliché
I found this drama to much of a cliché. The FL wanted to be strong and brave but was only that way to the ML. Everyone else she would let them push her around and had to be their savior. The chemistry was not there for the FL and The ML . The ML was stiff and seem cold all the time and FL look scare of him all the time or play shy. The story was to long and the same Rich over the Poor. Then the end at the last 5 minute it is a happy ending were everyone is forgiven. To many characters over acting or scenes with overacting direction. Many scene seem like a broken record with the same lines and situation. It became boring and had to fast forward. Just Delightful
It seem to me that this story is like a story book. Is the starting od 2 people how they meet, get together and how they are added to be part of the family. About every 2 episode there would be a new character and a new story with problem that needed to be fix. The FL seem to have the logic and answer to figure out how to solve the problem. I love a strong Female character especially the lead. In this story there are many intelligent strong female and I love it even more. I enjoy each story as it when on and it did not linger forever. It was dealt with and then move on. The ending was surprising and with a twist. The actors performance was just great. The story line was nicely written even when the drama is so long and sometime in the middle you wonder if the writers were loosing their direction. I would have like a better happy ending but that is just me. I like to see the entire family happy. I love it.Was this review helpful to you?
If You Love To Suffer Watch This.
This story if for does people who enjoy suffering. There are 6 characters with mental problems. The lead female is obsess and love to suffer because you don't keep loving a guy who mentally abuses you so much. He degrades you and then plays with your mind. The lead male is an arrogant, conceited, narcissistic jerk who can not show feeling because his parents scar him. Bullshit, just because your parents divorce and then still stay friends you don't treat a women that way. The older best friend has pride issues and is an emotional abuser herself. The was she treats the suppose to man that she loves. Throw him to the curve and then real him back. The poor guy loves her so much but does not know what to do because how aggressive she is and blames him for everything. The other friend is rich and has everything everyone wants except love. She does not want to be like her mom who controls everyone but she is. The guy that she finally gets is an old friend who has always liked her but never felt worthy of her. She becomes controlling and verbal abusive. How they try to tells us in the last episode that these 3 couples become a happy ending, lets us know how little the writer knows about couples and people. Waist Of Time
A drama that can waist your time. The first 16 episodes had so much push and pull game that it makes you sick and board. The leads don't know whether they are coming or going. This couple has so many enemies you wonder how they got together in the first place. It has everything you can hate about a drama. The obsess girl that is told so many times he don't love her, don't care for her, She was even told I hate you but she is still obsess. Mental problems. A secret illness to the lead male character that only affects him toward the last episodes on life or death. let us also not forget the 6 year old that ran around the city wanting to meet his dad all by himself in a city he just move into. I do not know if I would have kept his baby sitter for how many time this boy went off into the city and she never notice. Then in the last 10 minutes of the last episode a happy ending. What a joke. The over acting and bad direction is terrible. The only thing I liked of this drama was the Idea or the theme. I thought it would have been different for a married women to come back to win back her marriage.Was this review helpful to you?
"She Was Pretty" & "Pretty Li Hui Zhen" Both a Disappointment
I wanted to see if they improve the drama "She Was Pretty" but I have to say they did little improvement. I thought that in "She Was Pretty" the first 11 episode were a waste and annoying. This drama the first 20 episode were annoying and episode 29-31 was more silly foolishness of push and Pull games. This drama did not need to be 40 episodes. Li Hui Zhen (Dilraba Dilmurat) character was terrible. can they have made her more pitiful, stupid, and annoying. Her freckles seem fake, every once in awhile you can see them fading. Her facial expression were foolish and goofy looking. I Know Dilraba Dilmurat is a good actress I have seen her in other dramas. Baiha Yu (Peter Sheng) character seem so cold, harsh, and with no chemistry with neither of the lead female actress. Lin Yimu (Vin Zhang) character had great chemistry with Li Hui Zhen but it seem more friendship then romantic. I did not really believe he was in love with her. He is also a very good actor. I was hopping they change some of the story line but words might have change but still the same. I think the writer could have done better and the director could have used better direction. I found It disappointing and I skip so much because it was getting annoying. The ending was just as expected no real thrills or changes from the Korean version.Was this review helpful to you?
A Nice Surprise
I love the story. A very romantic, cute, and more realistic view of a relationship. I liked all the characters but why did they have to make the lead female so dumb. I could handle immature, naïve and innocent but I felt like she was to dumb. I could see why the lead male character like her innocent and naïve ways and even her immaturity but it seem that unless he explain to her and she understood she became to much of an airhead. In some scene you could tell a light bulb would go on and she would become reckless and she would think of some kind of resolution. I like all the characters around her because even if they were jealous they still supported her. The relationship was very good especially all the test that were giving to the couple by the other characters and it seem more of a real relationship. The actors performance was very good and made this drama very pleasant to watch. Even do I don't agreed with the portrayal of the lead female character I would definite will watch it again.Was this review helpful to you?
Hated Some/Like Some Of The Story
I could say I like some of this drama and hated other parts of the drama. I found that as a medical/military drama to many things did not work for me. Especially being in both fields. The writer needed to study and research a little more about both topic. The female leads character makes a lot of mistake as she is suppose to be a doctor but does not seem to handle things that come up to her as a doctor. I found the romance to cold even in the last few episode were they finally emit their feelings just does not cut it for me as 2 people in love. The lead male character is as stiff and cold but military men can be serious and act very egotistic but most soldiers are the most loving, I have ever known. Even Marines who outward look can be scary are very loving to their spouse or girlfriend. There are time that scenes confuse you and this is to long of a drama. It could have been shorter. Many characters jump in and out of the story like the writer did not know were he was going in several episodes. The actor did a good job in their performance but the story could have been better. The ending left me very unsatisfied. The best characters in this drama was Luo Xiao Jun (Finn Han). His performance was great from the beginning of the drama to the end. Watch Only If You Are Board
This story only gets worst the more episode. There is no romance or even cuteness. I thought since there are such few episode it would make a better drama but the writers forgot to write. The theme is a good one but after the 1st couple that they help with there love life the stories just does not worked. The lead female is annoying. She tries to be a strong female lead but all she does is be a scatter head that yells and does not think. The chemistry between the lead male and female character is not there. We have to wait to the last episodes for there confession to each other but you could never see any chemistry that they even like each other. The deal with the female lead character and her ex-boyfriend becomes annoying. How many times does someone have to say I don't want you. I could never believe that this large hotel was being run by 5 people. not realistic. The ending was even worst. They waited to the last episode for something major to happen to the hotel and in a few minutes it was fix. Tim Pei is one of my favorite actors but he could not save this drama. Gai Cass her acting was not very good. She over acted in some scene and could not convince me in a anything she did in every episode. She was rude and then sarcastic which made no sense. A Waste Of Time
I started to watch this because I am a big fan of Seven Tan and Jiang Chao but this drama was terrible. The first 11 episode I could not stand Seven Tan acting. To me she was annoying. The story seem that it had a plot but I could not find it threw all 21 episodes. The story of the president assistant and his girlfriend was a better story and more romance. The main story with the lead characters had no romance just a lot of foolish playing with all different characters who I could not understand which way this drama was going. Seven Tan character was made to be pity but she was also scheming and then everybody hate her and her mother only care about her position, her sarcastic ways really annoyed me. How much more misery did the writer wanted to make the lead female to be. She might as well commit suicide by the misery this writer made her. I prefer to make her strong but I wanted to see a little happiness for her at least in the 21 episode I just watch. Jiang Chao seem to be back it his robot character from a different drama. He seem to have no feeling and did not even know how to have feelings I kept wondering if he was even human. The writer seem to try to write some human feelings but only to return him back as a robot with no charisma. You can write a serious character but still have some kind of quality charm. Both lead seem to have no chemistry and I found this drama a waste. I will try for the next 20 episode and I hope the write did better. Do not waste your time watching this try the 2nd season it might have some meaning.Was this review helpful to you?
Don't Waste Your Time
I am being nice about this rating. one of the worst drama I have seen. I feel bad for the actors. The story line had no plot. The twist they try to put in was stupid. The over acting and terrible editing . The director need it to help these young actors because they needed help. The leads had no chemistry. To me he seem overbearing and she seem like a mummy from night of the living dead. The obsess girl had more control of everyone then the leads. The second lead male could not act for anything. Better Then I Thought
This drama gives you a realistic view about the wives and the concubines and the maids who serve them. How scheming all of them had to be for survivable. Maids were bought and sold or made into concubine, if they follow the family rules and behave themselves so they could make children for the family. The story tells you about how many of the women wanted some independence and change the old family view. It was hard for the Noble women to earn money and keep it to themselves. The matriarch of the family rule and never really care about the feelings of their son or daughter-in-law. I see how many children fought for power when many where from concubines and not consider legitimate. The head of the family brought as many concubine so the family would have a lot of children. The treatment was not always the best, worst for daughters. This story is great and very well written. It has so many twist and turns and suspense. The romance between the 2 leads is nice and slow and you see how they fall in love and trust each other. The actors did a great job in their performance and the chemistry. The only thing that confuse me was the ending. I can figure if several years had past or was it just 1 or 2. What A Surprise
I enjoy this drama. At first I thought it would be the basic girl likes the second lead an then the first lead but there is more to it. There was a prier relationship that left her hurt. I really like the three couples. We learn about men who are hurt from previous relationship and men who are afraid of a relationship. The main lead herself was devastated by her previous relationship and how she has to begins to trust again. I like that when the male lead gets confronted by his obsess previous girlfriend how he defends his love for the female lead character. That he stands by her side no matter what the ex-girlfriend try's to pull. The second couple is great how they learn about each other and stick with each other to overcome obstacles. The third couple is the most complex and the one that I related to the most. A girl has to finally give up and stop waiting for hope that might never come. This couple has a happy ending but it does not always works that way. The actors performance are great. Both the male actors and the female actors. It kept me going for 24 hours with no sleep because I could not stop watching it. I like the story line. The only thing that disappointed me was that I wish it had a stronger ending. Not Bad, Cute Story
I liked this drama because it was a different story. The storyline is well written. How the lead male & female meet in the palace acting as royalty and the maid. How they get closed was fun and enjoyable. However the formula for the basic drama was still there. The main leads at first argue and bullies the female lead. They act like they don't like each other. The second lead steps in because he likes her and he treats her nicer then the main character. So you believe that the female lead starts liking him. But for some reason she starts liking the main male lead because she spends more time with him and gets to know him. (BASIC). I did like that there was no obsessive ex lover or parents that control their adult children's life. I especially liked Dai Fu and Linda. I thought there characters were believable and their romance was cute and much more realistic. I did not understand Episode 14 when Luo Kai Huai gets so mad at Zhu Xuan Wen. He lie to her because he was investigating who wanted to kill him. ??????? I also liked Kai Huai little brother and his romance with her friend. I did not know how Kai Huai could be a psychologist when she had mental problem her self and would not talk about it. I did enjoy the last few episodes and the ending was perfect.
