You Might Like It
You would like this drama if you like medical stories. This drama is excellent on medical stories especially base on children. It tells us about the interns, doctors and nurses and how they do there work thru long ours. We get to know several children and their fight from different illness and cancer. We also get to know how hard it is when a child dies from these illness and doctors can't prevent it, and how hard it is on the medical staff. The only thing this writer forgot was to really get to know the characters in the drama. We get very little knowledge of the relationship of the characters and the couples that get started in the hospital staff. The main leads were so cold to each other even dough they were suppose to be in love. It was not until the last few episodes that we even see them holding hands. They had no chemistry. But the story does not allow any of the characters to really have any chemistry. The only character that had some realistic scenes was (Dr. Wang Hang and the nurse) They really show great chemistry together. The actors did a good job in their performance. I think the writer forgot that doctors are human and we would have like to see the emotional relationship with each other.Was this review helpful to you?
If You Like A Repetitious Story
I really liked this drama in the beginning but then it started feeling repetitive and frustrating. Most of the issues were created by the main characters rather then the antagonists. The characters would do something, usually to save or help each other, despite being told repeatedly not to, which would cause huge issues or even deaths to innocents. And this was a running theme through the drama. I get they love each other but they kept disregarding everyone else's lives for the safety of the other. I also was annoyed that Xu Xuan didn't really trust Bai Yao Yao, or even disregarded her feeling and wants, and would make the decisions he thought was right (usually to the detriment of others). I also was starting to get annoyed with Xiao Qing's persistence in pursuing Qi Xiao despite him clearly trying to cut things off and telling her they were through. They loved each other but she needed to respect his decisions, especially after her numerous attempts to bring him to her had failed.But overall I did really like the main characters. Xu Xuan was an interesting combo of playful and serious. Bai Yao Yao was cute and innocent but clearly grows and develops as the dramas progresses. I loved the friendship between her and Xiao Qing and the friendship between Xu Xuan and Qi Xiao and how much they loved and supported each other. I did also like the Demon Emperor. He was clearly a bad guy but he was shown to be more. His character felt a bit tragic and if the situation had been a bit different I think he could have turned into a good person.
The actors all did a great job. I already knew Yang Zi from Ashes to Love which I loved her in and also did a really good job in this. I didn't know who Ren Jialun was until this drama but he did an excellent job of portraying Xu Xian.
The main couple had fairly good chemistry with each other but they never actually show them kissing. SO MANY FOREHEAD kisses and whenever they 'kissed' on the lips they never actually show them pressing their lips together (they are clearly just angling their heads to make it look like they are). Maybe one of them had a lip fungus or something.
Overall it was an entertaining watch despite some frustrations and the story starting to drag as the drama went on but I would suggest this to others who like Chinese fantasy dramas.

You Make Your Own decision About This Drama.
I felt disappointed with this drama. The story line was interesting but the constant back and forth with no real solution. They kept talking about punishment for using time but who was going to punish him. Time is science and there is no punishment. As a scientist he never really care about finding a solution to time changes. Plus how can he not know the past when he was in the future. To me does decisions where already made. If he went back and change the past his future changes but is he is in the future how can a decision from the past change the future when he did not change that moment in the past. I am gathering that the writer was also talking about destiny. If he was destine to meet her and fall in love nothing he did can change that. If you believe in destiny. The chemistry in this drama was great and the actors did a great job in their performance. I found it confusing and to many repetition on some of the episodes it got me board. The couples also took so long to get together in the past and the future. I will let you make up your own mind.Was this review helpful to you?
The Story Stinks
I know this is a short drama but they have put some effort into it. Starting with the lead female characters. Could they have pick girls who were similar to each other. I believe the mask just change her weight. But the mask change her height, hair color, facial appearance and body shape. That should have been a miracle drug not a mask. I kept getting annoyed by the original girl lead because she wanted love but was not really willing to change for it by herself. They made heavy girls have no ambition because of self esteem. But she was willing to put on a mask to fool people especially the person she liked. Sorry but not believable. Then they thru an evil devil like person was doing all these. Not believable. Cute And Simple
Loved it. A cute and simple story and the reason to fight for your happiness. The lead female character is a very confuse adult about reality and what she reads in comics. She believe that she is a perfect women and should show her coworkers how perfect she is. Even dough in reality she knows very little about the world. Her decision making is from what she reads in her love comics. The lead male character is an unhappy young men who family has left him devastated. He falls for her and does everything to get attention she does not understand love. Very simple with no third person undermining the relationship. Cute, Sweet, But Basic
This drama is cute and sweet but it was to basic. Ireine Song to me acts to childish and is hard to see her as an adult. The romance is cute and the story line with the team and the other couples is also very pleasant. I do hate when they put an obsess character and most of the time is a girl. We know when to step back especially when the guy does not like us. The story with the mom and how she left them was a little to much. I did like the ending at least it was complete with all the characters. The actors did there best with their characters and it is still a nice drama to watch.Was this review helpful to you?
Watch All The Way
The one character I have enjoy thru this drama is Mo Fei. She has been a strong, positive, smart, and determine to get her dream. I love how thru all the ups and down she was not made weak, She kept her position on who she was. I like that Tang Ming Xuan supported her dream and who she was. The actors did a fantastic job in their performance. Hong Yao, You make us dislike you at the beginning but I have seen you in other dramas ( I loved "Art In Love") and have always like you is time to see you in a leading role. Yang Guang you were my favorite character and a very good and cute actor. I hope we can see more of you soon. I loved all the interesting information about embroidery, dyeing, Material making and the culture and history in China of clothes of the past. As I did not agree with the writers in many episodes and thought many episodes could have been better written but I do have to give it to the writers. I have enjoy the last 10 episodes of this drama. Thank You for not waiting to the last episode in the last few minutes to make this drama complete. Thank You for showing us what happen to all the characters in the drama, even does in the supporting small roles. I always enjoy a good ending and especially when the last several episodes were very good and gave the drama a completion and satisfying ending.Was this review helpful to you?
A Different Story and Is Great.
A suspense mystery and the characters in this drama constantly keep you on the edge of the seat for every episode. There is action and suspense that make you shake and were you get scare and close you eyes because you do not know if you want to watch the scary thing on TV. In every scene you want them to succeed in their mission. You get angry when they get punish for doing the right thing and villains keep getting away with murders. Each member of the team has their own story that you follow along and support each character. The actors are great in their performance that makes their character believable and it sucks you in to the story and what they are doing. The chemistry of the team was great so the actors had a great chemistry. It is a different story and I have enjoy it. great script and special affect.Was this review helpful to you?
Great Mini
I loved this Mini Drama, each episode are very short but it was very well written. The episodes make you look forward to the next and they don't leave you confuse. I enjoy the story since the first episode I was captivated by the story. The lead male character you wonder if he was brought back to her because of her wishing or their destiny. The lead characters are great in this story. I really like the actors, their performance was great and they seem to have very good chemistry. There had no push and pull scene and no mean scheming girl. Just a very nice story. I am watching it again all 20 episode non stop.Was this review helpful to you?
Great Fantasy
The visual affects in this drama was great. The story is a fantasy and it is a good written story. All the characters are easy to follow from beginning to end. The male and female lead character keep the episodes very interesting along with the other characters. The twist in the story half way and a cute romance keeps us engage in the story. The actors performance is great and there is so much chemistry between them, That they put you in the story and make you believe in it. The fighting are exquisite and the special affect are the best. It Is Disappointing
I watch this show because I was following Zang Yaqin. I have liked her in other dramas and at the beginning I like her strong character but the writer made her into a squeaky annoying character. I found this drama at the beginning interesting but the more episode I saw the more board I became. The male lead show very little emotion that he even liked any of the female characters. to me he was scum because he used them all. The treasure hunt was becoming annoying by episode 19. The old men character that was staying with them became an excuse for more episodes that were not needed. This story became annoying and the script writer seem to keep us wondering because he did not know what else to write. Romance there was none. Try It You Won't Believe How Good It Is.
A very good story from beginning to end. Every episode keeps you engage and I love all the female characters in this drama. Especially the lead and supportive female characters. Is a plot with mystery and suspense and a cute romance. I like the way the male lead character support the female characters. The romance is cute at the start and it get better as every episode goes by. The twist and turns in the story keeps you on your toes. Just Great !!!!! Loved It
This drama to me was a, let your feelings out kind of a drama. I cry, laugh, was sad, angry, frustrated. All my emotion came out as we meet all the characters in this small town. As episodes went along I could relate to so many situations. As story of the characters are told so you get to know who they are and why they live the way they live. You start feeling like a member of the community. The life is hard but yet simple. They watch over each other and help each other. Even as you get to know some of the new characters that have not live long in the town, you see them taking them in and make them part of the community family. I fell in love with this drama. I hope you get to watch it. The acting is great, there performance brings you closer to each character. The ending was beautiful. A Short Surprise
It is a short love story. It is cute and very enjoyable. The story starts like a dream and ends with a big surprise. The characters are perfect. The female lead character (Song Qingqui) is strong minded and independent. She keeps every episode alive with her ideas. The 2 male leads characters (The General/The Emperor) are very handsome and both want to support the female lead character. The other female lead at first you start thinking she will be an obsessive character but she becomes the lead female characters friend and joins her at her adventure in opening an entertainment/restaurant. The characters are very charismatic and have a lot of chemistry together. The ending was perfect as we find out what happens to all the characters.
