Disappointing
This drama is so disappointing. I really like the beginning and trying to understand the relationship form by the 2 lead actors was great. It was not the most romantic but you really still want the best for these 2 characters. The story seem to go around in circles as we wait for the lead character get his full level of strength but the ending totally kill me and destroy the whole drama. Is like the writer put everything in the last episode to finish because he had no more ideas. There was no ending to end these characters. The actors did a great job in their performance but the story stinks.Was this review helpful to you?
Be Happy With Yourself
The acting of this drama was great. The sadness, and misery the actors had on their face was overwhelming. I watch every week to see if they ever had any happiness. I could not understand how they made it day by day with such misery about their life and the stage of their life they were in. They constant complaint about there life. How they stay civil to each as siblings once they got home and be with their parents. I felt bad for their mom who was over work all the time. Between working at home doing house work or out in the field. Even working at the factory with her husband making cabinets and yet she still had to do house work afterward. I kept trying to find whet happiness they could have or satisfaction and yet at the end I still could not see if they ended really happy with life and satisfied or just realize thing could not get better. Very hard psychological drama to me. I ended up being happy and satisfied with my life and how little I have but I can smile every day.Was this review helpful to you?
WOW What A Topic !!!!!
Let just start with the subject of the movie was very surprising but the story was great. The 2 main leads are great the way they meet and start agreeing on helping each other, if you want to call it that. I did like how they were supported with each other and share there feelings. I love the leading female character was strong and took charge and that she was the master dominating him. The chemistry was magnificent. Is a subject not to many talk about but you know is happening. The editing and direction was great. The actors performance was a 10. It kept you smiling and a little giggles and embarrass in front of male friends. Love it.Was this review helpful to you?
To Many Disappointment
I started to watch this drama because I respect the actor Zhang Han. He is a great actor and I wanted to watched this to support him. There are many aspect of this drama I like and many I could not stand. The lead female character was one that I could not stand. I kept giving the writer chances hoping they would change her but, It is unacceptable that in this date and age we still make a female stupid, dumb, naïve, with no logic and common sense. A girl that has been working and put herself thru college and lives by herself is none of these things. Everyone took advantage of her. I could not understand why would she be a tour guide when she made no money. Her boss never paid her. The writer also made a mistake when she move in wit Ding Kai and she started changing things in his apartment after he told her not to touch his personal. No girl would have done that when you risk being kick out on the street. I know you made her stupid but could not believe she would be that stupid. I like the story of the people who went on the cruise and how the staff treat them but the back stabbing and endangering the ship that is not believable. I enjoy seeing foreigners as part of the characters but hated to see that many hated some of the characters just because they were Chinese. It was to long and we did not need several episodes of the lead characters breaking up and trying to get back together. I would have like seeing more of investigation of the ship that wreck and the accident that got Ding Kai fired. The story about the charity and the famous Idol was useless. the ending also left me unfulfilled with all the characters. I believe all the actors gave their best performance but the writer could have done better.Was this review helpful to you?
Cute But Confusing
It was cute and sweet but not very realistic. The male lead character with OCD and barely with no lines. When he did speak he had one or two word sentence. If they should have had the female lead character know sing language that way we could see how she communicated with him. They seem to read each others mind which was a miracle. The female lead character love to talk and I did not liked how they made her clumsy and stupid but yet she was award a scholarship to go to an over sea university. I think that made her smart. The first 10 episodes is how they like each other but won't admit it. There was a little to much push and pull game but once they got together they show great chemistry and romantic. The male lead really liked to kiss her but very few words. I did not like the ending. Was it a dream or was it real? Do they get together or do they separate and later get together? Does question were left in my mind. The other characters were also thrown it and out and made it confusing. It is short and cute so give it a try. The actor do a good job in there performance. As Good As The 1st
This story is different then the 1st one but I still really liked it. The characters are great and especially the 2 sisters. The way the 2 sisters support each other in chasing their dream and their way of life. They are 2 strong female characters that know what they want. Their father also supports their choice and supports what they do. I also like how they brought back some of the characters from the 1st Go Go Squid. The writer did not forget the relationship he had with older brother and the relationship older brother had with the girl he fell in love with. That made the ending even better. I like that there was no obsess lover or parent that did not agree because of statues. Just a story of fulfilling your dreams. I like that the 2 competitive teams come together to win the championship for their country. That they can be friends and even train together. Every character is great and you like following their story. The actors performance was wonderful and I loved their chemistry. Grandpa became my favorite character. Great Story Disappointing Ending
I fell in love with this drama from the beginning. It's a cute drama and fun to watch. I love the lead s characters from the 2 brothers to the the surprising young lady that comes into their life. It has it share of bad characters and of course the obsess girl. The characters I fell in love was Dr, Ru, who is funny and witty and very cute. After such a great drama the end left me disappointed. I was happy to see Dr. Ru was able to get married. I love that Qui Xiang got married. But they forgot Ziqian and Warner. What happen to them. I hate when the script writer leaves everything to the last 15 minutes of the last episode and forgets major characters. We all have follow Ziqian why wont you show us what happens to him. The actors did a great job in their performance and I have love the chemistry between the actors, but the scrip writer mistakes was this ending. The extra episode of the daughter was cute but as old as the daughter is being showed you would think the parents would be a little more mature. I also wonder if the daughter had a friendship with Dr. Ru child.Was this review helpful to you?
Don't Waist Your Time
I watch this drama because so many people recommended it. I was disappointed. By the 10th episode I founded my self board. I could not stand the game playing between the lead male and female characters. Everyone new that they liked each other from the people in the classroom to the friends in the dorm. I could not take the female lead playing naïve and stupid. The male lead with his sarcastic and one expression answers. I could take this behavior in high school but they are in college. I found them immature. When he finally confess in episode 18 then she has to think about it and then don't want anyone to know. Let us not forget about the 2 characters that had obsession with the lead characters. Please girls if a boy tell you so many times he does not liked you and will never liked you drop it and meet someone else. All the way to the end I found this drama very confusing. I have friend who are Professional Singles they have a career, date a lot and party and they do not want any men to tell them how to live their lives, so no marriage or engagement. Even when I was in college I knew no one that play this game when they like someone. I also did not like how they finalize everything at the last episode could they have made it for the last 3 episodes. Good Topic
It is a good story with a good topic. I don't like that they made her look like she is a gluten eater when she is fat. No human could eat as much as they made her look like she ate. The low self esteem that she has is very realistic. The guy that was her friend is not a helper he enables her to eat because that is the way he shows love. How much she liked the idol that she would do anything to change, but I don't think she would stay with him, especially after she heard how he hates fat people. Also being in the photography field that takes pictures of model she would have known how superficial they are. The actors performance is very good and the topic is great. Great Family Drama
I really enjoy this drama from beginning to end. The emphases on the demanding parents for their kids to study to be the best and get into the best college is so correct. I felt it hit the nail in the head. The demanding mothers and their involvement in everything of the school reminded of so many parents I have met that are exactly that way. The main character is sweet, kind and and strong. She is a mama lion and protects her family. I love the cute romance between the leads. We get to know the kids and how we see how different their point of view is from their parents. I like the character of Mr. Jin even when he gives us the mean and angry look and that he is the murder. I kept thinking how cute he is. But my favorite was the brother. Nam Jae Woo was a great character and the actor Performance of this character was great. I love how cute he is when he be lives he likes his sisters friend. Great Drama
What a great drama. The lead female in this story is my kind of woman. Independent and strong and knows what she wants. The male lead is cute and shy and they make a wonderful couples. The chemistry is fantastic. The way their relationship develop is so great. When they get together, you wait each minute for the romance. Each character makes the story sincere and realistic. The second couple makes it sweet and you enjoy the drama even better. The story twist and turns and the ending which is surprising make you enjoy this drama. Disappointment At The End.
This story intrigue me. They both had special power because of an accident. The lead characters are great. The story is really good and it even had a few twist and turn that surprises you. But the ending disappointed me. The way they hated each other because their powers was gone just totally did not fit with the story. Is like they lost their powers and the devil got into them with lots of hate for each other. I can't believe after all the years with the power that they did not get to learn about themselves and then about each other. The ending did not fit. fun To Watch
I started watching this drama because Lee Seung Gi is one of my favorite actors and singer. I new he would not let me down on this drama. I was right his performance was great. I fell in love with both lead characters. I love the lead female character with her strength, demanding, yelling and harshness on crooked and evilness. I loved her compaction and humanity for the victims. I love the male leading character conviction, commitment, and honesty. I love how he would appear coldhearted but yet he really was kind and loving. All the characters in this drama was great. The characters in the café made the whole Idea of the café fit into the story. The actors did a great performance which made the story sincere and believable. A Short Drama and Well Written, Best I Have Scene In A Long Time.
A very good and well done short drama. It keeps you interested and easy to follow story. There are so many twist that surprises you. The lead female character plays both herself and the characters of the face that she has been given so good that you can see 2 different people. The male lead is also very good as he is trying to find out who his wife really is. They both maneuver through their life quietly and calm and gives us so many surprising twist. The villain's are bad but you can also see the good in them. A well written story and great direction. The Fist 5 Episode and after Episode 19 was good but In Between Was Terrible.
This drama had it's cuteness but also had many annoying and frustrated episode with some episodes had so much stupid scenes that it was actually funny. The first 5 episodes hook me into the drama but then it went down hill. The push and pull game that both leads were playing became more annoying as the episodes went on. Th question whether he like me or not or I am to afraid to ask him, seem to me like JR. High or High school age question. These characters were in college could had more maturity. You can be naïve about love but the stupid nonsense and over acting was terrible. the lead actress is a very good actress but this character made me mad and annoyed by her cold, stupid, and silliness that she played this character. I kept wondering what kind of direction she was being given. The male lead was so cold and with no chemistry that I kept wondering if he really liked her or was she just an experiment to him. Between both of them there was no chemistry. Not even as colleagues in school. He seem more of a teacher then a student himself. I could not believe her as a medical student. She liked to bake so I thought of her as a chef. It was not until the 19th episode that they started to show some Maturity as college kids and some chemistry for each other and and stop all the misunderstanding and be honest with themselves. I really did not like the ending but it was ok. I think the writer needed a better flow on the episode and understand college age level is much different then High School.
