It's so nice to see how much more support Lulu gets with the flowers these last 5 weeks. I'm glad people have seen her beautiful personality and great acting and are now showing their support for her here too! 🙏 ❤️
Imagine having actors like Xin Zhilei, Yumiko Cheng and Lin Yushen and not writing a better script for them. Even with the badly written tropes though, it's still so nice to see them act their roles.
I'm still on the early episodes but it's very obvious that this drama is top class!! The story is super interesting and the acting is on another level. I'll write a very solid review for it once I finish it. It seems this is such an underappreciated drama here, seeing as it doesn't even have 1k viewers on its MDL page.
Download the app on your phone, log in to your account there, go to the left tab and find the category "free coins" at the bottom and you can earn 100+coins per day from watching ads. That's one way to earn some coins and of course some people probably buy the coin packages.
Thank you for this info, it really looks like a great opportunity! I'm happy for her and excited for the end-result! Hopefully everything goes well with the filming!
Tbh I went blind into The guardians mostly wanting to check out this directors' way of filming and I was "thank God his shots look serious and not like the soap opera aesthetic I've seen many c-dir do." I also watched royal nirvana's 1st ep and noticed that the shots were good but I had to pause watching that drama bc LBL got released.
If you guys haven't checked out the dramas of her next filming project director (Vincent Yang his MDL page) I strongly recommend them as your next watch. Ive just started "The guardians" (2025) his latest drama which is a Republican theme series(not my favorite genre) but I was so pleasantly surprised. This director is seriously good. Which is great considering I HATE most of the directors that have done successful costume dramas in the last couple of years bc their vision & camera work quality was AT BEST mid. I also have Royal Nirvana in my next watch, another work of this director.

I don't think you understood me bc I didn't get into that part since my point was elsewhere. I have no issue with the actor or him getting hype or being appreciated in general. The comments that I've saw though was that his character carried the show, he's the only interesting part of the drama and being shipped with the Hu Xiu character over the lead character and THESE I don't understand. Him being appreciated as an actor on top of people liking the romance of the main couple I do understand. What I've read on douyin:I don't. Also, I personally don't put Dai Xun in the not "conventionally" handsome category. Maybe he's seen like that bc he hasn't had the opportunity to get roles that showcase his handsomeness? I don't know. I do hope he gets this opportunity from now on though.

It's possible. Or super young that can't understand how valuable it is to see female characters being decisive, strong and open to express their love to the person they actually like.. But then again these same douyin folks that complained about Pei's reduced storyline also said bad things about the male lead's acting which was when I knew I couldnt take them seriously considering I think CXX has been great at this role, creating an electrifying couple with LYX. 🤷
Without the annoying role of Pei ..this romance could be a perfect 10The Main couple is perfect..lovely..sweet...many…
Wait until you learn the original novel had him dating the female lead for quite some time and it's only bc the drama decided to adjust those storylines that we didn't get a very messy love triangle and an annoying female character. 😩Chinese viewers though are OBSESSED with Pei and the actor that played him which honestly I don't get. I guess it's a taste thing, it seems a lot of Chinese viewers want more mess, when I tell you I saw many comments on douyin saying the adjusted script was more cliché and they wanted the Pei-Hu Xiu dating storyline. 😩 They made me wonder if we had watched the same thing bc what's more cliche than an annoying female lead that goes back and forth back and forth. lol
Ep24 but it's kind of more complicated bc even though they officially break up the in between episodes have many scenes that show how much they care for each other.
I absolutely loved this drama. Between this and Shine on Me, it seems modern C Dramas are making a comeback. I…
Interesting. I kind of saw this differently. I felt like the best friend's storyline was a nice original way of showing how a seemingly great marriage falls apart but the woman is able to deal with it and refocus on herself. If they had her dating the other best friend, it would've been more of a cliche for me, even though they had good chemistry. But personally I enjoyed the power of that character and how she dealt with what happened to her. She gave me more as a supporting character than most dramas allow for the supporting characters that just exist to move the main couple's plot. I respect your opinion though, I only wanted to add my perspective. ☺️
Lucky you!! The next episodes are like an acting masterclass on sadness and yearning and being madly in love. This couple is like the gift that keeps on giving! 🎁🫠
Dear lord the ep27 reconciliation scene.. I'm going to repeat that scene around 100times and then some more. My jaw on the floor with the acting and whole execution.. Probably one of the most romantic scenes in a drama.🫠
I don't have the time yet to go on the last 6 episodes binge that I want but I couldn't hold myself and saw some clips on Twitter that ONCE AGAIN made me think: What a natural couple!!! My pet peeve with romance dramas is that a lot of times the main couple doesn't seem as IN LOVE as they say that they are. They usually dramatically state their bigger than life LOVE but they don't feel like a real life couple. Fast forward LBL gave me that actually passionately in love real life couple. The actors played this so beautifully. The director just captured it so beautifully. The whole production knew how to show it beautifully. Like FINALLY. A couple that made me believe they were in love.
I hope Yuxiao gets both internationally and in China the smart, supportive fans that she deserves. The type that know how to promote her work, show support and be insightful with the comments that they leave in public places. Yuxiao is a talented, compassionate, mentally & physically strong woman, so she deserves fans that are like her. Anyone that takes the time to read her interviews will realize she's emotionally sensitive but not fragile, reflective, optimistic by choice and someone who believes in small impact, gradual change, and lived experience

At the end of ep25: where's ep26????? I need ep26!!!lol
