Person Lu Yu Xiao
The day of booting the new drama is getting close. I hope she realizes that she’s putting her career at risk…
Can you please stop with these type of negative comments? Below you've expressed many times that you like LYX and if you actually do these type of comments HERE don't help her in any way. She WILL do this project, there's a signed contract and it's not going to change. As for TJC's situation who the fck knows what has actually happened and we'll never know unless solid evidence is provided. Overall, acting is a job like any other and when there are contracts actually stepping out of a contract hurts one's career more. If you can't stand the next project go on your twitter page to complain about it please.

I swear this is the only drama where it doesn't feel like I'm watching a 40min episode. They feel so short and that they end so fast and I end up wanting more!! Whereas on other dramas I end up wanting to skip here and there. With this one an episode end and I'm like "why so fast" I lose all track of time. WHAT A COUPLE, WHAT A SHOW!!!!!

This!! The amount of people I have seen on Twitter wondering about the vr glasses and how is it possible for Hu Xiu to enter the game without them or how did they kiss, etc. Many haven't realized what you said about the audience pov.

The only thing is "if they don't wear the glasses then why doesn't it show them holding them?"
Well to that, this is where the drama can be more drama-like and not try to fit in all the realistic logistics. From a production choice visually it would be more annoying to always see people hold the glasses so I think the vr element they made the choice to not bring it up again and let people not think about it as much. However, since I've seen people wondering how they do this or that with glasses or not glasses I thought it'be good to write my own thoughts on the matter.

I think I need to point this out: the game it's a physically REAL game that has vr elements. The vr glasses they can wear them to see the extra vr elements. BUT they can also not wear vr glasses and theyd still be able to move inside Rong Cheng.
The game has an actual set. I've seen many talk about how did they kiss with the vr glasses but they didn't have to wear the glasses. You don't need to wear them to exist into the game and set. Wearing them will just add how they actually perceive the set as the city of Rong Cheng. Or like with episode 3 being able to see the ghosts. It can be confusing I guess bc the drama showed the vr glasses in ep1 and then never shows them again but I think it's bc it left it to viewers' understanding that the glasses are not needed to exist and move inside the game set.

This drama has so many scenes that I have really loved how they were shot.
Currently the one I can't get out of my head is on ep17, the moment the ost song "I wish for you" by Sunkis played during the night convo in front of the coffee shop. I just loved how that whole scene was captured on camera, the angles, the acting, the way that song fit that moment. And when the sprinkles opened and it washed away the mirrored image of the leads on the water surface.. Cinema 👌

For this drama I watch it on Viki because it's not on iQiyi in my region. But usually on iQiyi the subtitles are…
These people and their quick bucks.. Making sure the subtitles work fine it's a bare minimum thing. Nway thanks for replying and letting me know this is the situation. :)

I don’t know how to bring it up to iQiyi. Also, they like to put subtitles for the song and it took up like…
This! Every time I've seen a clip that had subs from iqiyi I was like why are the song subs hiding half the screen? Sigh
Even though I use viki, I have an iqiyi account (for future potential use) so I wrote to them in the feedback section about the overall subtitle issue. It will probably do nothing but I thought it didn't hurt to at least try. 😞

Oh wow so that's a general issue with that platform? Yikes. I also use viki bc of where I live so I have never watched anything on iyiqi and it's the first time I'm noticing this issue with the circulated clips.

Anyone watching on iqiyi international? I'm mostly watching on viki so I don't know if this is true but in the clips that circulate from iqiyi the English subs seem kind of off? Like some subtitles stay for less than a second on screen which makes it impossible to read what was said.
Anyone watching on iqiyi and have noticed this I think you should bring it up to iqiyi's customer service.

I'm spellbound by the whole thing - I plan my days for when the episodes are out.
Spellbound! What a nice word! You described it so perfectly. That's how I feel too!

The episode 13 ending sequence was a masterpiece of a scene. Editing and directing and THE ACTING.
I love dramas that you can tell the people who made them are creative and care for their craft!!!

The ost is so beautiful! I love it when a drama knows how to use fitting music that can elevate a scene. It's what bg music and ost songs are supposed to do. When a drama messes up on this it can make me drop a show bc it feels like a major part was left unused in the editing room.
LBL is such a nice production on so many levels. Directing, writing, music, acting. 👌

I don’t know what it is about the FL but every time I try to watch a drama that she’s in, I just lose interest.…
The "can actually really act" is subjective. Just like with you, you're doing exactly what you complained about others doing. Bc why are you posting a negative comment about an actress that "can actually really act"? (my personal view on lyx's acting of course lol)
Btw I'm not saying this harshly, I'm only responding to you just to point out that 1) you kind of did what you said others are doing and 2) thinking someone is a good actor will always come down to subjective opinions about what standards you set and what resonates with you. That said, there are also some more "shared" criteria like clarity of emotion, timing, physicality, range & versatility but even those still get filtered through taste.

Just started watching. Ep 1 seemed cool but ep 2 is boring. Does this get better and worth continuing?
Ep 3 and 4 were really good, but then again what each of us sees as boring can vary. For me, it kept getting stronger as it went on. Ep 4 had my favorite scene so far, so I'd give it at least one more and see how you feel.

It’s not on Netflix nor YouTube.. guess I’ll not be able to see (╥﹏╥)
You can try viki too if you want a more "official" way. I did the 7day free viki trial just to watch this drama bc I think Europe is region locked for this one on iqiyi. However if you don't want to put your card info for the viki pass, kisskh is the way to go.

I devoured the 4 episodes and what struck me the most when I finished them, it's that beyond the beautiful cinematography, the realistic sides of the show are so relatable. In ep4 i got emotional during that main leads' talk. (I'm keeping it vague on purpose). So far it's such a good show! And it's really delivering in the romance aspect too.
