I personally thought this drama was complex and layered. If I were to have been skipping around for the "fun" parts then I wouldn't have understood or liked this drama either. I think for the most part this drama was pretty flat in that it didn't have much going on (in terms of action scenes, or wild dramatic scenes, you know the classic korean dramas), but it did have a lot of mental/emotional scenes that I think require more attention and emotional investment. If someone were to watch this just looking for that surface level fun, then this probably wouldn't be enjoyable.

Some folks cried, some didn't. I guess it hits different for different people. Personally it hit for me, tears streaming and nostrils clogged. (Although half of it might be cuz I'm more emotionally invested in shows with "special" characters and other characters revolving) Overall, I think this was great. I really like the complexity of each character. Even minor ones that only show up in a single episode have an emotional story. I also really like the connection between each fairy tale and the characters' development. Definitely give it a watch.

What's ridiculous and truly pisses me off is the audacity to demand an explanation, or worse, an apology. That person is crazy. No one has to apologize or explain anything. If they saw that and was soooo offended, just stop liking Akaso and F off, seriously. He doesn't owe anyone anything for his personal choices.
Edit: it's best if folks don't directly interact with the twitter account/tweets. Having more interaction = more people seeing and spreading. Imo this type of information is NOT worth spreading, since it's his privacy to follow Trump for whatever reason. Don't let this take off, make it die.

In the webtoon it's explained the monsters can jam signals (not like an ability or anything where they can turn on/off, just their very existance jams signals) thats why their phone signals BEEP. By using that they can tell when a monster is close to them.

By "look like real people" does that mean people with imperfection? (Or people who look "average"?) Is that person literally saying CM casts are too beautiful? To each their own style of actors, but how I see it, that's just a compliment to CM casting choice.

I would understand if they had used it once for one final epic moment. But they replayed it so many times I just kind of feel my skin crawl everytime it came on.

It's probably better to just suggest how good AIB is and for people looking for similar suspense/thrill to go watch instead of trying to insult this show just so AIB looks better in comparison. You come off both bitter and unpleasant for folks who did enjoy this show.

"Here's why this show sucks! Go watch this other show instead because it has etc etc better," ??? I've never seen that method work for anyone attempting to get more audience attention.

i'm gonna rewatch from ep 1 very carefully and take notes of my likes and dislikes, characters and their development, pace, and plot execution. this will probably take a while but i will write a very thorough review.

Don't wanna post another comment so I'll just continue the thread lol. Imo the drama doesn't have great CGI but the compelling characters and acting are able to make up for it. I didn't expect much when I started this but it turned out better than I thought it would. The story is attention grabbing and you really fall in love with the characters. Although I wished some things were better explained. I don't know if I missed it but did they ever explain why these guys use their phones and earbuds? About the monster's jamming ability? I know the webtoon explained it. I'm planning to re-watch this again hoping I catch more details. I did kind of bulldozer through this without stopping so maybe I missed somethings...

So since this season pretty much is the entire webtoon. A lot of the characters that died in the webtoon has died in this season already, even the ones that are supposed to be alive in the webtoon, like the asthma girl and the gangster guy, are dead. Plus this ended similarly to the ending of the webtoon where they leave the building. I think season two will mainly be original material with references to the webtoon (like the cocoons - and if ya don't know what that is, then just read the webtoon lol it'll be worth it imo). I am excited to see what they do with the remaining characters and whoever are new characters. PLEASE HAVE A SECOND SEASON. WE THE PEOPLE IN THIS DEMONCRACY HAVE VOTED, AND WE VOTED FOR SEASON 2.

Thanks. After reading your comment I just went ahead and read from the beginning lol. I finished it already. I can see the differences and similarities. But overall, both the drama and webtoon had their good parts. Would 100% recommend others to read the webtoon as well.

So folks are saying the webtoon and this are slightly different, plotwise. Question: Can I continue in webtoon where this left off or would it be too different to do that? I planned to read the webtoon but would they be too different that I'd need to start at the beginning? I just finished this so my excitement is high, would prefer to read a continuation, but if they're too different, then I'll start at the beginning.

Yea, Kurosawa's been giving Adachi those looks for a while, one final one to seal the deal would've been pretty nice and funny.
