This show would have been one of the top Thai BL if it was more streamlined. I'd make these changes personally:1.…
I finally got the chance to watch the Behind the Scenes/Special parts of ep 10. Since there aren't subs I don't think many people understood what happened, so I'll explain a little bit about the Father's background. Gene's dad used to be a civil servant and met the boyfriend in the workplace. But the work environment wasn't accepting because they were too close-minded/hold old mindset so in the end, they broke it off because neither of them were "in love enough to overcome the hardship". This was cut out because the director said they didn't want to pack too much information in. I guess they wanted to keep the focus on Gene and his understanding of where his dad was coming from. But yeah, I think it would have been good to add the dad's background just for reference why he's so strict about a homosexual relationship.
Boun: *exists* Me, to myself: bone app the teeth Edit: After watching countless video hours of Mr. Boun, turns out he's just a cinnamon roll lol Yes, sizzling appearance but cinnamon roll personality.
Can someone please tell me are Boun and Prem really a couple???I just watched some videos like this ?
I've been going over tons of videos too for Team and Win, but as for Prem and Boun, they're more likely just good friends. It's cute how close they are and how they act like a couple but that's probably as far as it goes. Half of their interactions probably for entertainment.
Okay I finished watching. I couldn't stop thirsting for Boun so I went for it. - Editing could have used some work. I watched this on YouTube so after each part/section/video, the next part starts out solid in the past or somewhere else, no transition. It confused me sometimes if I'm on the right next part.
- Sometimes the story telling can be a little stiff and awkward (for example Pharm getting scared of a loud sound and starts telling his life history all of a sudden to these two new people he just met. Why now, we just met Pharm, we don't even know his personality, I could care less about what he's scared off. I think it would have been better to ease us into his fear rather than have a open presentation explanation).
- I thought Pharm, Manaow and Team's friendship felt forced and unnatural at the beginning. No freshmen in existence walks up to a random freshmen and already has plans to hang out later. That stuff takes days to weeks. Their meeting felt like a set up, rather than a random meeting.
- When he was first introduced, I thought Dean would be one of those aggressive man handling characters but hey, what a decent surprise, he's actually a really nice person and their relationship was very healthy. Couldn't have asked for better.
- WE NEEDED MORE TEAM AND WIN PERIODT. Manaow kept going on about Dean but gurl, Win over here flaming and sizzlingggg. My appetite shot through the roof whenever Win popped on screen cuz he made ya girl hungry. Standing next to Dean all the time was a mistake because I'm supposed to pay attention to Dean but I'm not because blondie over here said all eyes on me ladies. I was hooked, reeled, and dead.
- The complexity of their relationship and family tree. God dang who invented this maze. I nearly got lost, if not for YouTube commenters I would've been lost lol. But of course, the complexity was what made it interesting.
- I actually got a little bored after ep 14 or so, but things picked up again in the middle of ep 15 to 16.
- I have to admit, tears were shed. Overall, good watch.
Gene has arms and legs and a mind of his own, he could have went to the beach if he wanted to. Just because Nubsib…
I was thinking the exact same. I saw a comment on YouTube saying they love how Sib becomes intimidating/aggresive to people who are not Gene and I'm like that's actually a red flag lol. People should be running if a man like that ever approaches you.
We should all chill. It's just ok to have a different POV or different sentiments towards series. You can also…
I see what you're saying but at the same time, it's not exactly clicking. If someone's opinion can be flawed, then both negative and positive comments can be biased and flawed, right? Someone can like something so much they refuse to accept that some people can dislike aspects of the series. Which brings me to criticizing people's critique. That basically screams you like something so much you have to break apart these people's personal opinion, whether they be actual feedback or just ignorant hate. I agree that people should be open to their opinions being criticized, but what does that say about you who is criticizing them when you say people's opinions are flawed and biased, doesn't that make your own efforts to criticize them biased and flawed as well? Moving on to what feels like gatekeeping to me. When you talk about film expertise and people should bring criticism that improves rather than devalue, I can see the point, but I can't help notice it's gatekeeping people from posting. If you don't post criticism that seeks to improve, don't post your uneducated opinion at all, is the vibe I'm getting from that. Some people can't help that they don't have the expertise to dig deep and really list out what could be improved, all they can do is touch at the shallow things they dislike. Which I think is fine itself because disliking something just means producers and directors shouldn't include that in the next series. I can be wrong of course and that's not even what you're saying but that's just what I'm getting from it. I do realize that I'm a hypocrite and criticizing your opinion at this point but I just thought it'd be good to bring this into the discussion.
Just how much of this particular episode was wasted on fillers. Everyone’s mentioned the product placement and…
The hug scene sent me tbh lmao. They're just standing there doing nothing. I wish they'd make it look more natural with them all just walking away casually or something but nah
The subtitles were a little off. The conversation is recollecting what just happened and Gene asking what Sib…
Yeah no problem. WeTV is like the sparknotes version lol I notice they tend to cut out translations of certain words or phrases that would make a conversation completely different. Sometimes by summarizing, they rearrange the conversation completely.
The two related tropes that bother me are how anal sex is invariably presented as a painful experience, *and*…
True. And the opposite of that, the "top" can't endure the wait of prep. Like, if this "bottom" can endure his butthole being plugged, you can endure a couple minutes to stretch him properly with lube.

The phone convo was future tense and the balcony with them both was past tense. The difference is the tenses. I can see why it is repetitive, since Gene basically asked it twice, it's just that the second time they were already accepted and he set up a hypothetical scenario.
What isn't true about your og comment is you said the balcony conversation was obviously from before the parents' talk. Based on my understanding of Thai and the conversation, it was set up so they were talking in past tense, so the balcony conversation was definitely not supposed to be before the parents' talk.
Did anyone else find some weird edits/cuts in this ep? For example the scene where they met up on the balcony…
The subtitles were a little off. The conversation is recollecting what just happened and Gene asking what Sib would have done if the dad did not accept. They already got the approval but because things went smoothly, Gene wanted to know if things didn't go smoothly, how would Sib have resolved the issue.
Like everyone else so far, the Tum and Tiffy bit was a lil ehhhh. Idk, I just thought Tiffy was being very complicated for no reason. If she truly believed that he was joking then she should have faced him seriously and told him that his joke cannot continue and really shut him down. (This can open the conversation up to a more serious tone and they can actually get some talking done, imo) but instead Tiffy keeps dismissing Tum, basically choosing to ignore his advances rather than challenge them. I thought she was a fierce woman who confronts her problems but I guess not. Regardless, their development was unnecessary. If all it took was some rapping to convince her then that's a pretty shallow reason.
Ep 11 preview. Aoey you son of gun. With your fake crying to tempt people. I can't deal. I thought we were over you and you could get some redemption arc or something but it's too late, I already dislike you. Anyway, looks like drama is coming. I doubt they will break up because of this or if they do, it's just for publicity and the feelings will still be there. Also, we already touched a little bit about fan wars and whatnot in an earlier episode, but we haven't really talked about toxic shipping - those fans that take things too seriously and start thinking actors are dating just because they have good chemistry on set. It would be interesting if the author brings that up and exposes toxic fans as well.
