I've read her posts. She makes valid points about why she likes it. Have your own analysis, express your love for the series, whatever. Just don't expect everyone else to see it the same way as you. She reposts because she expects others to come to like the show once she explains why she likes it the way she sees fit. That's just pointless and spamming.
I'm not against people making solid points, I'm against people thinking their points matters more than other people's. The world doesn't exist around your likes for the show folks, people can dislike whatever they want. Coming again and again to tell people they can't dislike something because "art" is just ridiculous.
Coming from the person who stoops as low as insulting any and everyone. Now that is funny. Sounds to me you're the one throwing a frustrated tantrum. The irony.
It's a high quality show but the story is just not making me feel addicted like WBL, which by the way, seems to…
I actually discovered WBL by going through the recommendations of this series lol if things don't end up as good as expected, then at least this got me to WBL so that's one good thing about it ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
And here’s my spoiler comment after watching the whole series:I wish I could delete all the XingSi/Stalker scenes. He…
You forgot he's mentally ill so all his actions are excused/justified. Literally rolling my eyes lol but hey, to each their own. If people liked their story then go for it!
Cute cast...but that's about it? Not sure where they're going or what they're doing with the story. Not sure if I like any of the characters either, tbh. There's some wrong with Jinyu, obviously. Still don't know enough to like or dislike the other characters. I do know I have zero interest in the second couple. Like I barely care about the main couple, you can't expect me to even be remotely interested in the second couple. Personally I was not pulled in by anything that's happened. The "sexy" moments that has happened? Yeah those are just kind of uncomfortable, ngl lol. But we're only 3 episodes out of 12 so maybe it'll get better? I'm not gonna expect the best but maybe something good will happen.
So far the best Thai series that I've watched. I give it 8.5/10. However I may change it to 9.5/10 if they explain…
that's true lol all the other classmates knew he was part of the gifted. even if they erase his memories and he went back to the normal class, wouldn't all the other classmates question why he's back? he lost his memory so he wouldn't have a clue but he'd at least know he was once part of the gifted program. they kind of just glossed that over.
Feel bad for the Prae. Luckily it isn't exactly Intouch's fault because he is truly loyal to her throughout the entire drama (although he does get forced into a relationship with Palita by the parents, he didn't have feelings for her) but Palita is just so evil and powerful that she is able to ruin their relationship. The most satisfying part was when Prae comes back with money and power and easily stumps Palita into her place. Decent watch.
In my honest opinion, this series could have blended each of the Gifted’s background/story better and cut the series' run time by half. The series felt like it had 3 segmented and disconnected parts. The first part was to introduce the main character and the Gifted program. The second part was to introduce each Gifted and what they are capable of. Then the last part was to use their potential to get rid of the program. The second part is the least important. Here’s why I think so. If they had each Gifted contribute to the last part of the series, then maybe I can see why it would be important to introduce each and everyone’s potential in detail and have viewers understand who they are and where they are coming from. BUT as we already know, the last part only relied on Pang and Wave. Getting to know each Gifted and their potential didn’t really matter at all because they were barely even part of the last part (or played that important a role to the entire series). Now I know the second part contributed to Pang and his potential and his quest to get rid of the program, they littered it in bits here and there, but overall, this could have still been done without having a whole episode dedicated to a character that won’t matter by the end. In my opinion, Ohm, Claire, Korn, Punn, and Mon’s episodes didn’t need to be that long. I actually skipped quite a bit during those episodes because I felt like we lost the focus at the beginning and are just going for some joy ride. Maybe the second part is important for the second season? Idk, but I’ve seen comments say that some characters here don’t even play that important a role in the second season either so ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
The message that this series was trying to convey was pretty clear from the beginning but I feel like they just kept beating a dead horse, like if they didn’t repeat it over and over again, people would forget the point. That part about the storytelling can be a little stagnant because it felt like I was constantly being spoon fed. The acting was alright. I mainly focused on Pang so I won’t comment on the other cast but I thought the acting was slightly stiff at some points.
Overall, this was a decent series. Maybe better execution and keeping focus. I also suggest not having so many characters if they aren't going to be useful. Take for example the twins. They were part of the Gifted program but they weren't actually relevant to the series at all. This can be applied to majority of the other characters I mentioned previously, especially Korn. They didn't have to be part of the story and nothing would have changed.
I'm rewatching and I'm slightly confused about why Shide didn't let Shuyi know about what happened in America? The timelike skipping and all kind of confused me.
Before he left for America, they exchanged emails so that Shide could send to Shuyi weekly. We later know the Dad intercepted this, that's why communication via email stopped.
For texting, we know Shuyi was texting Shide before the visit to America but afterwards his phone was confiscated therefore communication via texting stopped there on his end.
So, during the time that Shide has to take care of his mom and the family, why during that entire time did he not write a single text to inform Shuyi he would be overstaying? We know he still texts Shuyi after since we saw the scene of him wondering why Shuyi stopped texting and assumed he's mad so it's not like he lost his phone or something that prevented him from physically using his phone. Why was communication already spotty before Shuyi's visit to America? We know Shuyi was already sulking about Shide going silent, so why during that time Shide didn't say anything? Did I miss it? Lol
