Seeing as they're in a school setting, another option to replace all the physical fighting could be to fight with smarts. Pat and Pran just showcased in this episode how each had their own intelligence to solve a problem. It would have been interesting to see them fighting with their grades rather than fighting for territory and whatnot. Have some class.

I'm more against MDL for even allowing multiple reviews for one show. Looks like they're just taking advantage of the option and doing as they please. (I am aware that the multiple review option allows people to review in different languages, but perhaps there's a different approach because as we can see, people can take advantage of that and use the option for other intentions). I've never encountered that before on a platform, granted I haven't been on many (lmk if other platforms allow multiple reviews for one show). Usually you're just allowed update your single review.

Also, the fact that there's a loophole to allow for you to indicate you've "completed" a show that is very clearly on-going. I get where they're going when they give you the option to indicate how many episodes you've seen but perhaps don't allow users to choose MORE than the number of episodes released.

MDL is an incomplete website, it seems? They're constantly updating new things. These issues could be some of the few things they could change in the next system update or smth.

I finished Guardian a week or so ago, and although they butchered everything, BECAUSE the chemistry and acting between the main leads were so good, I end up liking the show overall, despite not really being into the way the story was executed. I definitely think that with excellent acting, even subpar dramas can make it. Actors can be praised for their hard work in an otherwise mediocre production.

This series is only at 2 episodes, there's still a high chance of the ratings increasing once we get the rest of the series out. Right now I think most people are giving this series a 7-8 rating anyway, so not as many people dislike this as we think. Maybe they just want something more, which the rest of the series might be able to provide. Staying hopeful.

I disagree that reviews shouldn't be allowed until after series completion. On Myanimelist they have a system where you can leave a review after certain amounts of episode. If the total is 13 episodes, you need to see at least 4, if it's 26 episodes, you need to see at least 6. So with a 12 episode, you'd need to see at least 3. Otherwise your review is basically invalid and gets deleted. I wish they did something like that here too. This system seems to be beneficial to people who may dislike a show but also want to leave a review. That way they don't have to watch all the episodes just to leave a heated review at the end.

Is it possible to report this review as "incorrect information" because clearly you have not seen 12 of 12 episodes.....No one has. Even if you were part of the production crew and managed to watch everything already, it's still incorrect to indicate on here since the public has only been provided with 2 episodes out of 12.

If you plan to review every episode, then there's an episode review section. Click on the episode guide on the header, click on which episode you have completed, and click on add reaction. You can leave individual reviews for each episode. What the reviews you're doing right now are meant for the overall of the series, thus you can see they provided the option for you to choose whether you want to put spoilers, whether you have completed the series (currently you cannot choose yes as an option because the series is airing), if you're going to drop or not, how many you have seen. If yes, then it will show you have dropped the show and have seen nth numbers of episodes. If no, then that just means you have watched nth episodes on an on-going series.

You're a pretty new member so all of this is probably not something you would have known already but now you know so. Hope all of this is just an honest mistake and not something malicious on your part.

I do have to wonder, if MDL truly does take averages of everyone's votes as I assume they do, then I've explained in an earlier comment that it makes complete sense for just a couple hundred out of a thousand to make the ratings drop, this is if we assume extreme opposite ratings. Like only assume we have 10/10 or 1/10 ratings. But according to many folks here, it looks like the "low ratings" are between 1-7, and the "high ratings" are 8-10. Think about it. If the low ratings have such a large range compared to the high ratings, wouldn't it make sense why the overall would be considered "low"? (there's a 70% chance of people voting for the "low ratings" and only 30% chance for the "high ratings". The odds are MORE against people who want this series to have a "high rating". The fact that the ratings right now is actually still over 8.0 given it's chances means there are actually MORE people giving it "higher ratings" than "lower ratings") I think what needs to happen is to reevaluate what it means to be high or low first. If there are equal numbers of people giving this below a 7 rating vs above an 8 rating, then when you average it out, doesn't it make complete sense for the average to be closer to 7 or 8 rather than it to be a 9 or 10?

Take for example we look at a small scale of 10 total votes. 7, 7.5, 6, 6.5,7, 10, 9.5, 9, 9, 10. Add these votes to equal 81.5, then divide by the total which comes down to 8.1 as the average overall vote. Looking at these pretend numbers, we can clearly see you don't need to have 1/10 voted to make the overall around 7-8. Unless everyone here assumes everyone is giving this show a 10/10 and somehow the one or two people who gave this a 1/10 manages to tip the scale that much, then I think that's unrealistic thinking. If we were to think unrealistically and assume everyone gave this show a 10/10, then at least 20% of those people need to be on the opposite extreme to make ratings drop. I don't think everyone gave this a 10/10. I don't think nearly as many people gave this a 1/10. I think majority actually gave this a 7-8 rating. (Keep in mind not everyone comments in the comment section, so even though we see many 10/10 in the comments, doesn't mean the phantom voters gave the same). I find variety of comments putting complete blame on the people who dislike the show (labeling them 1/10 raters) to be disingenuous (or perhaps just unaware) and unable to accept the possible reality that maybe not everyone gave this a 10/10 from the getgo or that as votes keep coming in, not everyone is going to give this a 10/10, maybe 9/10 or even 8/10. No denying that the 1/10 does affect the overall, but just remember how much more it will affect if the already existing "high ratings" are only at 7 or 8.

I also just want to add that it's a little weird to always assume it's "those people" again giving 1/10, THAT is why the rating dropped. This mentality gives little wiggle room for the assumption that this show might just genuinely be worth the 8.1, for now at least (and for MDL platform). Plus it seems this mentality works "conveniently" in favor of people who do like the show. "When ratings drop, just assume someone gave it 1/10 again." That's an easier explanation than actually trying to understand what went wrong with the series, or what changed people's thoughts about the series. I personally would have given these two episodes a 7.5/10 if I voted, and when combined with the pretend numbers from earlier, this actually makes the overall go from the 8.1 to an 8.0. Now scale this up to 1.1k+ voters, with every vote, as long as they are within 7-10 equally, then the rating will likely stay the same or slightly decrease. Only if majority, and I mean overwhelmingly, started voting 9-10 then will we see the numbers start increasing to maybe 9.0.
