the first 3 eps were sooo gooddd. it gave off strong go ahead vibes, but i hope they don't ruin this drama by giving a weird love triangle bs. i love the bond all the characters have, even tho the others lowkey feel like background characters for now.
I LOVE IT SM😭 this rarely happens, but i love both the male lead and sml. idk why but Jiho reminds me of Suho from Weak Hero tho. Young Woo DOES NOT look like a high schooler lol, but he definitely suits the role. He looks so beautiful I'd do all those things for him tooT-T I don't think I've watched any Yi Hyun dramas before, but she is also so beautiful. I like how her character can go from cutesy and awkward to a literal diva. I think I prefer her in her shaman self more tho
I loved it sm. but i just can't stand the whole ranking people based on their fighting skill bs. i dropped study group cause of that too😭 I do love the fighting scenes here tho. I just find that trope so cringe. Also Yungi low-key annoying
Xiao Wen is literally Xie Lian bruh. I can't believe Zhang Linghe is gonna be playing a gay character tho(he is so popular nowadays, so i am lowkey worried they might make it “straight”) I wanna watch this so badly thoTT
I am not sure why I decided to pick this up before my finals when I had 5 years to watch this😭 I was put off by the length of the drama, but now, I feel like I could watch 100 episodes of the untamed. Xiao Zhan looks absolutely beautiful in this. He was always one of my favourite Chinese actors, but his acting in this is just so perfect. I watched the animation version too. He just feels like the real Wei Wuxian. Its my first time watching a Wang Yibo drama, but gosh, no one could have played Lan Zhan as well as he did. He had very few lines, but his expressions were always on spot. I LOVEEEE ITTTT. they are like my 2nd gay parents (Hualian will always be my 1st gay parents lol). Wei Ying is literally my comfort character. I love him sm (i might fail lol).
Why did i watch this? I have no idea. I have no idea what to think about this. This just gives me pain. Being a queer person in a really conservative country feels sickly, and this movie captures it so well. It feels like I had so many thoughts about this movie while I was watching it, but now, my head is just empty, and my heart is in pain lol. Definitely a masterpiece tho. Its been a while since I rated a movie 10/10
the puzzle mystery was the best part of this drama. i just loved the symbolism, the art style, and literally every little thought put in those puzzles. other than that, everything felt just fine ig. the acting in the last 2 eps downgraded, and tbh everything felt really rushed, yet draggy?(idk if that makes sense) the writer was on the killer's side, and it was showing cause she literally executed her plan perfectly, and the cops could do nothing about it lol. also why does the fl talk like that? i genuinely tried to understand it by saying it could be a trauma response. but it was still annoying af. i liked her weirdo personality sm tho. it made the show more enjoyable. Kim Hansaem was literally just your average detective guy. There's nothing much to be said about him, but I just couldn't consider him the male lead cause he was just so...basic.
this is probably the only drama where i have no idea who the killer is lol. my bet is on the therapists. the female therapist matches the traits of the killer, and the male one's drawing feels pretty similar to the puzzles. also the boy's story was told with so much emphasis, and it was told several times. so, i believe it is pretty important for the plot. i don't think its the male lead just cause it would be really boring if it was him.
Their relationship is actually more toxic and slow burn in the original novel. I am glad the drama changed it…
yeah right, there are a few scenes that definitely pissed me off, but its supposed to be enemies to lovers trope, so i expected that much. I am definitely enjoying their chemistry tho:3
I didn't remember that it was supposed to be a time travelling movie, so I loved it quite a lottt since I love anything time travel related lol. I always love when they cast actual musicians in a musical movie. It doesn't feel as obnoxious or pretentious. It was actually believable that Kyungsoo would be a great pianist. The last piano scene was so intense, I loved it sm fr. Won Jin A's acting always eats in these typa roles, and her pretty face is so pleasant to look at. I didn't really expect to enjoy this so much, considering the ratings. It was short, sweet, and emotional.
It felt like I was watching my life play out. You never really realise how messed up your life is until you see other suffer from similar things. Shuhei really didn't deserve any of that, and despite, realising how cruel his mother is, he genuinely loved her. From the first scene, you get to know that the mother is going to be insane. There is no actual incest in this, but the emotional incest felt much more disgusting.
I thought this would be insanely toxic but their relationship gets better pretty fast. I'd say they are pretty healthy than some romcom couples I have seen lol
