It was Jang Ok Jung series that made me experience the Second Lead Syndrome so bad I couldn't help but fall for this actor! He's such a fine one! Recently saw him in House of Bluebird too. He deserves bigger projects and more main roles, tbh!
How come she didn't do a lot of TV dramas after 2010?
She focused on silver screen projects + some incidents where (1) her brother was involved and (2) another where she herself was at the limelight of a scandal. I won't explain it further, but the fact is that she received harsh criticisms online and offline to the point some people wanted the media to boycott her from doing projects.
Her role for The Beauty Inside (2015) helped her gain confidence again in acting. She went through so much, I can only imagine how hard it could've been for her. I'm happy she's overcome those times and is now back to being active.
Hello! Thanks for writing this review. I'm in the middle of my watch of this series but was wondering why the majority seems to dislike the main couple. I originally came for Chae Soo Bin and had been anticipating to watch this, but the huge influx of negative comments about the story and the main couple almost stopped me. Glad I didn't. And now that I read your review, I can totally get why I am digging this series a whole lot and am invested in the characters' individual growth and the dynamics between them. I'm a fellow 23 year old working at s supposed big company, but I still found the things being said in this drama deeply relatable that it hurts. And yet, I want to cheer on the characters, as that's what this series seemingly wants its viewers to do: to empathize with others and to not lose hope.
