Does anyone know if there is a webtoon for this drama? Like an official one that you can read or purchase? I have…
Nope. The webtoon in the drama is a fictional one they made for it. They hired 2 artists (one for majority of webtoon scenes and another for the kissing scenes) to make the webtoon pages.
Just dropping by as I wanna tell those who may be interested in watching this series to not be discouraged by the negative comments about this show. Just go for it. I almost didn't give it a chance, too, because of the mixed reception, but I'm glad I did. It's much better than what it seems on paper.
Digging up the comment section and saddened to see people calling this series overrated when it's not. It deserves the accolades and high ratings it got. It's a show I can easily describe as "having so much love put into it". There's no other show that's quite like this--warm, fluffy, steady and empathetic. Kudos to how it handled mental health, too. It made me feel like I can trust people, see their individuality in their lives, and hope for a better life for everyone around me.
They say this "cheesy" romance only suits teenagers. I can't blame teenagers who love this show--it could be what they were looking for. On the contrary, I think this drama resonated best with young adults. Rather than a "cheesy romance", it felt more like a heartwarming life story that centered around the titular lead, but did not fail to show the struggles and victories of the rest of the ensemble.
For those in doubt, or for those who came to watch this series initially expecting to dislike the show because of its high rating, please give it a chance. Open your mind and heart and let the characters and their stories speak to you.
For those who want to support ChaeSoobin, there's a project by the Singapore fan club over at Fanmaum for her upcoming birthday. Don't worry, SG FC is legit, like NZ and CN fanclubs. They already sent her gifts in the past (e.g., INAR Press Con and 4th debut anniverysary). Here: https://fanmaum.com/projects/view/2555
Everyone hates Danah for some reason, but I love her character, and Chae Soo Bin is amazing, as always. I love…
I agree with you! 10/10!
Danah was not a "bad" character--she's a well-written flawed, troubled young adult who's still doing her best to reach her goal of escaping Hell Joseon. So she's a bit violent every now and then, but looking back--she wasn't violent just because. She was doing that to defend herself and protect her principles (i.e., when the deliverymen were harassing her at the start). I guess people hating on her in this show just couldn't empathize with her. She's just human. I wish the show addressed her family issues, too, but with that happy ending, I think it's okay to assume she'll eventually come to terms with them sometime in the future of the story's timeline that we viewers wouldn't have to see.
He really has that artistic flair and comedic timing to his works, at least, from what I've seen so far (W and INAR) that I really dig. Might as well check out his other works.
Are he and Kim Jaejoong related? Though I was certain he wasn't JJ while watching drama special, I stikll had to pause and read the cast list as the ending credit rolled.

The resemblance is unbelievable.
