Thank you, The First Frost, for everything. Thank you bai jingting and zhang ruonan for bringing these characters to life. Can't ever imagine this drama having a different cast. I'm gonna experience THE most heaviest post-cdramas depression ever once it's all over😭😭😭 Been waiting SO LOOONGGGG for this drama. Been waiting to see xiaobai and nanan together for the longest time ever. While I want the last episodes, I also don't want to see it end😖. It's literally been a daily routine for me to hop onto this page during my free time at school to keep updated with everything in between study periods, a daily routine for me to hop onto Twitter/X and scroll through my "the first frost"-filled homepage, and a daily routine for me to witness the amount of love and support this drama has been getting from all across the internet - tiktok, instagram, weibo, youtube, twitter, etc.

What a beauty and treasure it is too be presented with one of (well, the best in my opinion) the best cdramas at the beginning of 2025. I've been watching cdramas for a very long time now, and it's been so long since I last felt so immersed in a drama like this. The First Frost occupies a deep and large corner in my heart. The story is so well written, the director's choices in his camerawork, the displays of aspects like light and reflections. It's all been executed so well. This drama is just full on CINEMA. Everything about it is honestly so beautiful (ofc, except the ridiculous family of hers, the nosy and "can't-respect-boundaries" intern, and that uncle.....). I really don't want to let it go, but i just really hope, even if it's hard to happen, I just hope that this CP are casted in another drama together because their chemistry is OFF THE CHARTS. I can't let go of them 😭😭😭 With The Best Thing just ending yesterday, and The First Frost ending later today, I've lost my sole motivation in life.....😔

"The way Sang Yan is portrayed can feel almost too perfect at times, but I think that’s part of what makes him such a comforting character." - that's one of the most beautifully well-said comments to make about his character🥹

I'll be honest, those two dancers at the dance academy she works at (i think), their advice and words are honestly better than anything else any other friends of WYF have ever told her. I really like those two characters. They play as a great catalyst in allowing yifan to appreciate how things are by realising how life is really just a dizzy rollercoaster that will have its twist and turns, but it's "better to face them now than later". I really love these two characters so much!! Just wish they could play more prominence in her life than some other friends.

Also, the police officer who took her in, my goodness. Had me in tears. Crazy how a random stranger can have give so much more warmth and love towards yifan than her own blood-related mother....officer, you are honestly such a hero🫶

as for youku, i don't think there is a rating system thing, but that's only because I haven't really used it much

well said👏👏👏👏 the double standards in this drama industry is so ridiculous.....you can love a character and critise their actions if you believe it's wrong, but to straight up downgrade the character simply because of their 'gender' and personality (when clearly, we have been shown exactly why she has these certain traits) is messed up..... WYF they will never make me hate you😌

I agree, it doesn't put a great look on him after all that "yearning" and things - it's kind of offputting if you know what I'm saying. I mean, in the novel, she literally just revealed it to him. She's obviously in a very vulnerable state at this point, but him leaving her right after really is offputting. At least in the drama, he's understanding and doesn't resent her so much

I'm pretty sure, so she forgot her keys in his car, so he decides to go back to the house to make sure that they'd fully left and there wasn't anything still going on - this was after he dropped her off at her new apartment after they'd just gone back so she could pack up and leave. so: he knows her house and all because of before when he followed her in so she could collect her things, he knew what those men looked like because he chased them before, and he went back to check up and make sure things weren't still going on. After hearing about how they wished they installed hidden cameras, that's what triggered his attack - to make sure they actually hadn't installed any :)

The way sangyan would have rather had yifan leave him because he's a burden and just a "back up"/rebound, than have her leave due to pain and trauma breaks my heart😭
