It's such a beautiful edit, why did it have to get removed😭 It was the very edit which allowed me to discover this beautiful song as well :(

HL is from Sang Zhi's perspective - her love story, her life, etc. TFF is Sang Yan's (her brother's) story. That's really the only connection between the two dramas. HL is told from Sang Zhi's perspective therefore the way she views her brother is different - in HL, Sang Yan is seen as a very funny, cheeky, and quirky brother. However, TFF is from Sang Yan's perspective-ish - here we see his other side that he doesn't show towards his family.
While you're watching, you may notice some confusions with the time and events, but we need to realise that: TFF was written before HL and in HL, they changed the age gap from 7 to 5 years, therefore the timing of the events may differ (TFF has kept that original timeline). Hope you enjoy it well as much as I and many others did (definitely my top cdrama :)) HL is a bit more light which contrasts with TFF's more serious yet heartwarming love story. Here, we are able to witness Sang Yan's 'other side' which wasn't seen much in HL
I've been watching cdramas for years but often tend to watch more modern-based dramas. However, I'm starting to get influenced into watching costume dramas. I've started blossom in adversity, LGIEF, and the story of pearl girl from last year-ish.
I've also been thinking of starting TTEOTM, Legend of Zang Hai, this, and many more, but someone, please influence me into starting them!! 😫

Honestly, I'm hoping they'll change it for the sake of the drama. It's already messy, so they should change it or public opinion will definitely shift and cause a bad reputation on it..... 🥲
Still have people complaining about a slow burn....... I'd rather have a great chemistry-overloaded, slow-burn romance with a pure and healthy relationship and no "unnecessary" break ups or "stupid" misunderstandings, than a fast-paced and rushed relationship that incorporates the cliche "breakups due to stupid misunderstandings" just to twist up the story a bit and drag it on. The way that TFF has been laid out is already perfect, and allows us to immerse ourselves into both SY and WYF's stories while feeling the romantic tension they share. With the 32 episodes (which I really wish could have been more😭), the way they brought the confession scene into ep 18 was just right - not too soon, not too late.
Anyways, we love TFF🫶 Happy 2 months to this beautiful drama, and may it continue to gain love and support everyday. Even after 2 months, I'm still here rewatching it daily :) ❄️ 🍃

yes, I totally recommend. it is a slow burn, but the way that they've laid out the episodes is really nice and smooth and leaves you intrigued all throughout. May not be a few people's cup of tea, but I would totally recommend :)

they tend to do that with the dramas which are known to be willing to watch eg. hidden love, the first frost, so they only release like small snippets or highlights, and try to make you pay for their vip on their app so that you can get access to all the videos
