• Around chapter 58+59, the accident occurs - Jin Zhao leaves for a race in the mountains and has an accident which leads him to have prosthetics (for his left leg) because someone seemed to have messed with his car, causing it to malfunction. Jiang Mu watched this happen, though everyone had to quickly 'evacuate' in case they were caught.
• Chris (her mum's boyfriend) travels back to China and tells her about her mum - she was diagnosed with a condition and required surgery but didn't mention about it to Jiang Mu as she felt bad about JM's previous uni exam results. He seems to be a pretty good person too. He basically comes and asks Jiang Mu if she wants to go to Australia (now changed to Canada in the drama) to stay by her mum's side and all. She decides that she does and her dad (Jiang Qian) continues to pay his respect to Chris for helping his daughter out.
• San Lai knows where Jin Zhao is but doesn't mention it to Jiang Mu until later when JZ contacts her again - Jin Zhao basically vanishes after the accident for some time and his whereabouts are hidden.
• San Lai mentions to JM that Lightning (the dog) goes missing just before she leaves and she asks him to tell her if he ever returns - Lightning never did
• JZ and JM meet one another for the last time and exchange their subtle thoughts - she doesn't know he's injured and the way he words it makes her believe that he wasn't in the car.
• After she settles abroad, they lose contact. Jin Zhao settles down somewhere else unknown. San Lai also leaves elsewhere. Jiang Mu studies in AUS and has no plans to go back to China because she's scared to face the past. She tells her mum all about Jin Zhao, to which her mum finally listens. But, they never mention him again when her mum asks "Where is he now" and Jiang Mu replies "We've lost contact".

I'm currently reading the novel (to distract myself away from the time it takes for the episodes to come out because I can't wait 😭) and I'll run down what's happened so far just in case the drama adapts it all too.

This is my first official drama of Heyu's that I'm watching and I haven't seen Yushuxin on screen for months!!! Let us have some peace😭

MDL ratings are very annoying because of how they allow people to rate future episodes before they're even out. For us, the ratings are very ridiculous and we know better not to trust them, but it's the fact that majority of drama viewers rely on this site for their choice of starting a drama so I'm really pissed off with this stupid system. Everytime the rating manages to reach higher, people continue to degrade it and rate it lower 🙄

If they continue with the story via the novel's outline of events, there's a possibility that we may be able to see the iconic 💋 scene of Chapter 48 (where they're on a balcony I believe and she's slightly drunk) VERY SOON because of the💋 emoji on the schedule poster. My predication, probably on Tuesday or Wednesday, but it seems we may get a small something in tonight's episodes👀

Via the VIP schedule, from now till the 22nd, we're getting 2 episodes a day, then 1 episode on the 26th, 27th, and 28th. Though, I do hope they end up releasing an express package because:
1. It will be for their own benefit money-wise because people are EAGER to watch this drama so more 💸
2. For OUR BENEFIT because having to wait 4 days till another episode to come (only 1 as well) seems too far😭

Haven't seen any or many people/C-netizens saying anything about the drama's changes to the novel which is honestly quite rare. The small changes of locations and newly introduced characters are done very well and are blended in pretty damn well as well. God, the over-a-year wait was so worth it 😩😩😩😩!!!! I want the episodes to come sooner, but then I want to savour this time period for as long as possible because we've seriously waited way too long for this to come out!! Hoping to see some promotional schedules but knowing IQIYI and their stupid handling of dramas, I can't get my hopes up too high.

this is so messy....Jiyeon is being way too hypocritical in the way that she thinks she has some sort of authority with Woojin's choice of interest. On the other hand, it was nice that WJ was finally expressing something and giving JY a heads up about how just having a few more dates with MK may just lock it it for him, however there was honestly no need to bring up the "romantic attraction' thing. God. They really shouldn't have dragged Minkyung like that in the argument. JY can't expect to have an interest in another person while hating her ex but then hoping her ex only ever focuses on her...that really sounds toxic af.

MK and YS. Honestly, now that the ex reveal has occurred, the tension within them is very much gone and they seem more settled which I'm glad to see, especially after all the suffering she's had to go through. IF they happen to settle things (and in which I mean, YOOSIK settles things), I may start shipping them both again. Idk, they seem more chill now and can easily joke around with one another which is much more great to see instead of the dark and depressing vibes in the house.

WK + JH is honestly a mess at this point. I can't really assume anything until the very end of the season and after the show because there's just too much going on. Though, I do have to say. I look forward to seeing them on screen together because of the chemistry they give. Idk. We'll have to see about them. However, Wonkyu. All it takes it for a little "I'm sorry" and admit your mistakes. What a hard word to say, I know 🤡

If it was a petty action for an attempt to have revenge on Jaehyung, that's also so WRONG. People saying they were young and all - they were, but they were literally ADULTS freshly out of high school with functioning minds...?? Jaehyung has his wrong with his immature actions before serving in the military, but for Yunyeong to go ahead and date his best friend is lowkey disgusting. And yes, his best friend probably has the most fault off all, because who in the right mind would agree to date your best friend's ex?? Every conscious living being can realise that no matter how much you may like someone, if it's your best friend's partner/ex, you are to STAY AWAY from them...Jaehyung is honestly too nice to forgive them. Age is irrelevant when it comes to certain situations like this - a 12 year old can recognise how wrong this is. People still wishing that they end up together, seriously...just let the poor man live. He's suffered too much already and he just needs to move tf on. A first love is precious to many, but sometimes, it's just best to leave it all behind and find someone new.

At this point, the only people I'm willing to continue watching this for are Minkyung, Jaehyung, Jihyun, and Seungyoung.

At this point, minkyung, I hope you only choose yourself. The men in this household are honestly so limited and pricky, and she deserves to earn some self love after everything she's had to go through. If the rumour about her leaving after the Japan trip is real, I fully support it. Living under this same roof will just continue to cause her to indulge in her past which will really affect her mental and self esteem. Damn...Jihyun's advice was so mindful, I couldn't help but applause!!!

Also, the '2 exes' thingy is so freaking messy. After changing PD-nims, many people have definitely started to lose interest because of how messy the production is. What happened to the raw emotions from the other seasons? I still believe that both should have been able to enter the EX-room because it's probably the greatest highlight of the whole series. Hyunji is getting on my nerves - you spend daaaaayyyss on end whining to BK and having him stay up for 3 hours to comfort you, then have ANOTHER ex come?? I feel bad for both of them. It's really immature and disrespectful (to say at least). As of now, there's seriously no 'couple' I see lasting in the end (maybe YN and BK, but no one else). People are either still hung up on their exes or conflicted between their choices

I seriously think they need a second season because 12 episodes is too short...the whole webtoon should be adapted, and i don't think it'd be flowing if they squished everything into the remaining 2 eps😪 (WE BARELY GOT ANY WY+GJ DATING ERA😭)
