However, I just have a little rant: I love SAL so so much, but damn. One episode cut really ruins it. 40 mins of content deleted. The wedding scene cut. The kiss scenes abruptly cut. @iQIYI if you want a life, reupload the drama again with the FULL original 30 episodes 😡. If we as the viewers are this mad, I can imagine how mad Heyu and Xinxin are. Filming for over 4 months, waiting for over 8 months for it to air, just for it to end in 10 days, with poor editing between VERY IMPORTANT scenes😡. Anyways, thank you Speed and Love for everything. Please, let Esther and Heyu collaborate again😭🙏🙏
If the uncut scenes/the full uncut episodes are too much for China, just give them to us. I will happily spend my money if it means I can get the full original drama with the uncut scenes that aren't abruptly edited and deleted.
Edit: What a pity that of the 2 dramas of Esther's that aired this year, both were treated so poorly. First, Ski Into love had like 13 episodes cut off abruptly and now Speed and Love cutting 1 episode, which led to the drama having very abrupt cuts and editing. LinYi and Esther had to fight sicknesses and the cold season to film Ski into love just for it to be poorly managed. Then Heyu and Esther spent over 4 months, working to achieve the best result for Speed and Love, just for most of the important scenes to get cut.

Honestly such a waste... If we do get that bonus ep, they BETTER include the wedding scenes because they are really important!!!

Currently catching up on the mountain of episodes that I've been holding on for awhile now. Just before the finale finally drops, I just wanted to thank everyone for being here and supporting Speed and Love, especially those who never gave up on the drama, Esther, and Heyu, and stayed by their sides through all the rough hatred they had to sadly endure. This is literally the worst smear campaign I've ever seen, and it's just because Esther been doing her job?? God, give this poor girl a break. I'm thankful that she's been able to have Heyu, her fans, S&L staff and team, and the S&L community beside her during this distraught time.
Could never imagine anyone else to portray these characters as well as Esther and Heyu did. They brought Jiang Mu and Jin Zhao to life while embodying these characters as their own. I really do hope they maintain their close bond, even after the promotions of S&L end because man. I don't think I've ever witnessed such a perfect cp. They match one another's freak so much😭!! Cdrama directors, listen to our prayers and cast these two in another project together (more preferably, not under IQIYI again because of their nonstop sabotage to this drama....😒). Despite all the sabotage and neglected promotions, S&L has truly proven to become an unforgettable gem, making history: • The drama #SpeedAndLove also becomes the first modern idol drama to unlock Diamond 3 status on Weibo Super Topic, in which only three dramas have ever reached Diamond 3, two of which star Yu Shuxin. The drama has also surpassed an 8,600 heat index.
Whatever it is, I hope everyone is able to hold this pairing deep in their hearts!!
I'll be honest, I haven't had any cdrama hit this hard for me since TFF and TBT earlier this year. This was the most awaited modern cdrama for a reason 😌, and I can happily say that S&L has topped it for me. What a way to end 2025, the most beautiful year of modern cdramas <3
I'm unwilling to say goodbye after being here since last November when these two were announced as leads, so you WILL be seeing me rewatching this drama nonstop till the day I die 😭!! ARGHH!! I'm excited to see more happy moments, but I don't want to see it end!!!!

Someone has pointed out how his MBTI must be INFJ, and as an INFJ myself, yes I couldn’t agree less. His actions and love language screams Infj - silent yet affective and loving. He puts Mumu first and is willing to sacrifice whatever it takes in order for her to live a peaceful life (even if it means sacrificing their love). He’s protective and can’t bear to see any of his loved ones face adversity. I will not defend the 6 year separation gap (because damn, it's hella long and the novel was 7 years), but please take time to understand his instincts 😭. I will take no Jin Zhao slander! The yearning in the novel never stopped, even after they mended their relationship, so it was really tragic!! I'm excited to see that elevator scene. I'm ready to feel the angst pour out 😭!!!
It took us SO LONG to get the rating back from 8 to 8.5 just for people to mess with them again....😔. Please give it some time, the next few episodes will hopefully mend the wounds 😭!!!!
Also, damn. The OST is so good!!!! When a drama's OST slaps so hard, you know for a fact that the drama itself is worth the hype and set for success!! Congrats Speed and Love for being the first ever modern cdrama to reach Diamond 3 in popularity rankings!!!
I hope we see Jin Zhao POURING his heart out in the next episode or so because I need him to show her his yearning and how much he's been longing to see her 😭. After reading the novel and watching the drama, I will empathise with Jin Zhao through everything, thick and thin, but I need to see him pull SOMETHING to really win her back!! (is it just me?). I'm excited to see how his explanation will run because I'm ready to feel a sense of relief after all this madness 😭

We're getting the express package tomorrow and I'm not ready. I'm not ready to say good bye😭😭 This is literally the only drama that I've been longing for, for so long. From the first day of filming to now, I've grown so attached to it - Esther and Heyu are honestly a match made in heaven. Kudos to the casting director because they've become my most favourite cp. Their chemistry is so natural and they're so comfortable with one another, I hope they remain friends forever. The over-a-year-long wait was definitely worth everything that I've seen. Ep24's trailer already has me bawling...😔 especially now after finishing the novel. The hike is quite a pivotal moment in the novel as she discovers his leg injury so I'm so ready for the angst that she'll let out tomorrow night 😭 They keep holding us back so much!!!! Those blaming jin zhao's decision to push her away need to understand how deeply affected he is (psychologically-wise) by the whole accident. He spent almost his whole life racing so for him to have to part ways with this path isn't easy. He loves her so much to the point where he's willing to sacrifice anything in order for her to live a peaceful life (even if it means sacrificing their love). To him, Mumu is more important to him than his life. The novel covers his journey after the accident so well, I cried reading the part where he reveals everything to her 😭. Don't worry, these two know better than to forget one another - they are literally in LOVE. Like, DEEPLY 😆
I’m seeing some of the previews and I hope we don’t spend the 2 episodes today with them running each other…
based on the novel, the separation period is quite a painful time and their official reunion took some time as the novel covered a bit of Jiang Mu's life in Australia, then after graduation when she heads to the USA for something, then spends some chapters with her rediscovering everything in China - and also her little meeting with her dad's partner/her stepmum. I wouldn't be surprised if they spent ep 21 focusing on the seperation period, but I really hope they make a lot of progress in tonight's episodes because we don't have much time left and I want to see more of their Nanjing arc😭😭 (considering how the author only covered it in the last 10-ish chapters)

The douyin previews of tonight's episodes are.....heavy. For those who are watching it tonight, prepare some tissues (I'm planning to wait till tomorrow night because I fear if I watch tonight's episodes, my Saturday will be depressing af 😪). The fact that she literally knelt down, with bare legs, just shows her desperation😭 3. I'm loving Heyu's long hair in the Manshi arc so much, but I'm also looking forward to his shorter haircut as well!! He looks so dashing both ways :))
