I'm honestly just hanging on for MK, WJ, WK+JH, because everything else in the house is so messy....WJ just needs to move on and realise that his ex truly doesn't give a flying fuck about him or his feelings, then focus himself on MK - I think they could seriously work out really well if it goes down the right pathway. For WK+JH's case, I can feel and see the tension. We barely get any screentime of them now (sob sob), but they were the main focus in ep11's trailer so I'm ready to see some develop. I just NEED WK to step into that ex room and witness JH's perspective. I hope to see some development in his movements cause so far, there hasn't been anything - if you want her back that much FIGHT FOR IT. I feel like the ex room would hinder those hidden feelings of his and potentially lead to some movement. JH seems to still have lingering feelings towards him as well but she's just hurt over the words he said before they broke up. JY on the other hand...am I the only one who thinks she's lowkey kinda pushy?? Like really pushy and aggressive-kinda?? Yes, she's pretty straightforward about not coming here to reunite with her ex, but I hope she opens her eyes a bit. It really seems as though WK isn't fully attracted to her - if he was, that scene of him "lending" his shirt to her (which was lowkey kinda awkward and forced) would've had more fluttering emotions, but it seemed kinda uncomfortable. I'm all for her setting boundaries and going straightforwardly to whom she's interested in but it gets to a point 😭 give others more screentime- it's so boring seeing kyu and her.

As everyone says, JH is WK's personal colour and I can see it. JH's presence has the ultimate power to completely twist WK's aura and emotions. 10 episodes left to go...they need to hurry up and release them because ain't no way they're pushing it all the way till 2026...at least make the episodes longer or something because so far, it's been pretty boring.

Agreed. Finally someone who understands me. I feel like JY is just too pushy, and we don't know whether she saw JH through the mirror at all in that one episode, but I genuinely just feel like JY is getting a bit aggressive and pushy with the way she's acting. YS is a MESS, and I really don't like him. Especially how he's still not fully owning up to the fact that HE's the problem. For MK, damn. I just hope she gets a break. From everything. I hope she fully moves on from whatever the heck her ex is, and heal. It broke me when she mentioned marriage and the potential future, just to get shoved to the side like that. All these hate comments about Minkyung have me feeling so distraught for her. damn. LET. HER, LIVE. I will not fall for this "I hate MK" propaganda. You can have a known enemy and still give them some basic respect on the surface level, especially when in an unknown environment where you're forced to see their face 24/7. What I find even more weirder is that there are people defending YS's actions. You don't even know him?? The K-netizens losing their respect towards YS is something I'm cheering for because never once have I agreed more with them on something. At this point, the only males who I respect are Woojin and Jaehyung, as well as the women. Gyumin was mean, but at least he knew where he was in the wrong and APOLOGISED (the absolute bare minimum). I feel so bad for Minkyung, and that moment where she was sleep-talking in her sleep, practically begging for stability as it's so frustrating for her, made me bawl. I find it so ironic how every interview of YS's seems like he's about to melt through the ground due to depression, but on the show he's full on enjoying himself. I can understand both sides: a break up between two people is much more deep than we may know. However, I can feel Minkyung's frustration because of how whenever he was with her, he'd sleep and "have no time for her", but has no problem staying up till late here. To her, she feels upset and that it's 'unfair' because of how one-sided the relationship felt, as though she was the only one putting in effort. At first, I was wanting them to get back together after knowing their backstory, but now, it's better off for Minkyung to either end with someone else, or just leave without anyone so she can properly heal. God, MDL has so many MK haters...........

Tried to hold myself off from watching the episodes until later (because 20 episodes are literally so much!!), but after the ex reveals in ep 7, I couldn't resist it. I've been following the show since the beginning, but so far the only exes I'm really interested in are YS+MK and WK+JH.
- I feel like YS and MK will eventually get back together in the end because 8 years isn't short. Yes, we had Haeeun and Gyumin in S2, but it was because Hyunggyu was just THAT man. HG pursued her from the beginning and only had eyes for her. If they seriously just had a deep convo with each other, with no attitudes or thoughts pouring out of instinct (and I'm sure this applies to EVERY other couple), I'm sure they'd somewhat work it out. Also, only 5 months after their break up as well when they first began filming for the show, which is so short compared to the 8 years. I'm waiting to see what happens between them but I do hope MK is able to explore more. Just like what one of the panelists said, if there was someone who was bold enough to make a move on MK, I'm sure she'd be moved and flattered to some extent. The new guy seems pretty cool with her too. But as of now, both don't seem to have moved on yet.
- WK and JH was a BIG plot twist, cause damn. What a surprise! I like these two - they seem like a pretty chill ex couple. I'm excited to know more about what happened between them. People saying that WK calls her immature because of her job, well we don't know that yet. It may be related to how she could've handled things in the relationship or something. If the relationship even had pointers towards marriage, it was definitely serious. We don't know how long it was and all, but I'm curious to see their interactions from now onwards.

Just finished watching it. I waited so long to be able to watch this. This movie seriously had me bawling my eyes out for hours. It's taught us many life lessons while also showing how we should cope with and face our fears. The chemistry was really really good....I just wish they'd made it through till the end😞😞 I need these two to be paired up again for another project, whether it'd be main leads in another movie or a drama. I need more of them cause this is seriously not enough🤧

Yan He died in the novel as well so I guess it didn't surprise me much, but I really wish they'd shown more of HY and XJ's lovelife. They only had 7 episodes, with CZ cutting through and ruining 1-2 episodes🤧

Drama may not satisfy everyone, but to me it did. Everyone has their own tastes, but if you aren't going to finish watching the drama and drop it on the way, don't go rating it. Your rating doesn't represent the majority of the drama. Additionally, don't listen to douban ratings, they are always filled with haters and bashers. After all, this is an adaptation and may not satisfy the novel fully. As long as the author themselves is ok with it, then what's wrong? It's their creation after all.

Don't blame the actors, blame the censorship that China has. It's ruined many dramas already, but this drama did just fine, though I do wish they had brought many more scenes of HY and XJ and scrapped CZ (because I absolutely HATE him). Overall, don't believe what the minority have to say: just enjoy the drama and enjoy the fact that this drama even GOT TO AIR in the first place. Months for them to film, took 1.5 years wait, we finished it in 3 weeks. Gonna miss this drama so much😭

I'm new to watching costume dramas but I have to say. Legend of the female general has set the standards HIGH for me know. I've watched quite a few others including legend of zanghai, blossom, and others, but this one has absolutely stolen my heart. I think it's because of the trope: I've loved Mulan since I was young and really love the trope of 'women in male fields' with revenge and romance. Wishing this show well for tonight's final episodes. I can't bear to say goodbye!!! (also, chu zhao is an absolute freak....i need him to actually back the hell off and fix himself up...🙄)

Omg, I WON'T BE ABLE TO MOVE ON EVER!!! Zhou ye is one of my favourite actresses while this is my first watch from Cheng Lei and my goodness, their chemistry is too good😭 Please, hear our prayers and let these two work together again in a modern drama in the future. I will never move on from my moon lovers😭🫶

I'm so excited for it!!!! Hope Zhang Miaoyi's drama Peace and Joy also sees the light someday 🥲. Also, I've been so excited for ZJM's other drama Shine on me with Song Weilong, but it's apparently been shifted back further to 2026 😭

I seriously just want to give qingyu a hug cause wtf.......not only are her parents useless as heck, her relatives, the people at school, her own GRANDMOTHER. I just wanted to bawl when she was completely ignored by her grandmother in ep 8 especially when she stated that she was cold as well, but ofc going by the traditional asian concepts, males are "preferred" over females 😔 she's so strong (I'd personally abandon everyone at that point....). Ofc, her brother is an angel as well. I just love how jinyu always supports her and is always there for her 😖
