I liked this, it's a nice detective drama but with a bittersweet touch. One thing I like about Itomura as a character is that unlike many "genius" characters, he's not really conceited or looking down on others, if that makes sense.

This was my first drama ever watched, so it definitely has special meaning to me. I look forward to watching the korean version, it'll be very interesting!

I love your comments and reviews on jdramas! I was really into jdramas a couple of years ago, been watching more kdrama and anime lately but really want to get back into jdrama. I really didn't expect to love it so much! It's so funny, so many things I love with this show. Actually I can't come up with a single thing I disliked about it? Which is rare. Usually there's too much clichés and such in kdrama that is a down-side, but there was just a very good balance in this show.

I remember how incredibly disappointed I felt with Bad Guy. I really liked it from the beginning, but the latter half.. just no. So much potential gone to waste.

I actually really like him in Arashi, because his voice is different :) But I guess everyone feels differently ^^

Hmm.. I love some of the 'classics' like Hana Kimi and Hana yori dango, but some of my personal favorites are Pride and Long Vacation (I love Kimura Takuya!!), also Maou, Kimi wa pet (my favorite re-watch, I've watched it many times), hmm I don't know those are the ones that come to mind first. There's a lot of dramas I want to rewatch but not sure because they are so sad, like innocent love and 1 litre of tears. TT-TT so sad, but great dramas.

I completely agree! That's really the reason I like watching both Arashi's variety shows and Cartoon Kat-tun as well. I really like how Horikita Maki seems in real life, haha she seems like a pretty cool type of person (maybe not as cute and innocent as the image of her is probably). So you really like Sho, huh? ;D I really like him too, but in Arashi I think I like Ohno a little bit more because of Maou.

I do like Arashi, but mostly I like watching their variety shows. They show so different sides to them on those. In the music videos and lives they are very 'idol' like, but in the variety shows they are cute, stupid, clumsy, funny, and a lot of other things. But they made the music for HYD which is probably how I started listening to jdrama OST from the start.
Yes, same here! I really liked the song in Rich Man Poor Woman. I don't remember the name of it, and I remember only finding a live version of it.

Yeah, I used to listen to the music I found from jdrama earlier too. Like Arashi, Yui, etc. But I haven't been watching a lot of jdrama for a while, so I find more new music from anime. Also for me it's easier to find the songs from anime than jdrama on youtube and such, for some reason. But I do listen to some japanese music no matter what, like Tokyo Jihen/Shiina Ringo, and some others. :3

Jishiki kajo otome monogatari? c: I listened to all the songs you mentioned, I especially liked 'Ballad'. It's been a long time since I listened to jrock. Nowadays I mostly just listen to anime soundtracks, when it comes to japanese music. But I really like this sound!

I just finished watching it, and I really liked it! :D So much cute fashion (love lolita-fashion!!), and also I always like gender-bender type of plots. And Akira really has a lovely voice! I want to listen to her songs now! :3

Ah, I'm really excited for this one! I'm currently watching xxxHolic with Higashide Masahiro in one of the main roles, and I love him there! So I have high hopes for this movie.

Shin Min Ha, Park Shin Hye, and Yoon Eun Hye are definitely among my favorite female korean actresses. I haven't watched too many dramas of either but I'm planning to. I also really adored Moon Chae Won in Innocent Man, I hope to watch more of her in the future as well!
