I truly struggle with subtitles. I am unfamiliar with how tycoons stole government companies and would appreciate a more comprehensive translation. It seems like everybody is a crook.

This cannot be a contemporary drama. But the production is so sloppy with props. Cell phones are from the nineties, but TVs cannot be even ten years old. Otherwise, I like the story of how private enterprises took over government companies.

Ii watched 4 episodes and dropped it. I expected more suspense but everything is so slow. On the other hand, I never finished a medical drama anyway. The romance seem not to be important. The only thing that matters is that the Chinese Medicine is superior.

Then uou have to watch Ming Dynasty 1566.

I don't score dramas I have dropped, otherwise, 7.3 would look like a great score. What is this drama about? Anorexic Qin Lan is in another pedophile role. Some stupid dog food bao chou. A guy with a box full of Viagras but he can only produce a turtle, not to mention a ridiculed Singapore guy. Despite my loving Song ci, it doesn't belong to this drama. Dongpo pork would be more appropriate.

After watching Hai Qing in Return to Dust and Li Yu Shen as Miao RenFeng it feels weird to see them as comedians.

Actually, Hu Fei is not as annoying as other Jin Yong's main characters. Maybe only Yuan Cheng Zi was less annoying.

So few posts about such a captivating show! Aren't they making another Di Renjie series? This one definitely raised the bar for it.

They should have stopped after episode 51 to keep such a high score.

I have some questions for Chinese-speaking viewers. Why is Lao Fei translated Chicken Fed? I know he has Ji in his name but for me, earthworms are chicken fed. Is he a zombie? I know that in an early show he said he wished that he had died younger. Also, why they translated Sha Si as Sass? Serial killers are bold but there are more suitable adjectives than sassy which has a positive connotation for me. How come that Chang'an Tower has 33 floors in this show? If I remember correctly it has less than 10. What happened to the rest? The Emperor Ruizong actor creeps me up.

Princess Taiping annoys me more. If you are annoyed just drop it. It is not worth wasting your time.

A different director could have made a really scary horror show out of this. But then romance would be really perverted. What does a hug mean before you are gobbled up by Tuo Shen? I feel Chu Yingtao's line is a little bit forced. I expect them to go to Chang'an and finally finish the mystery of Chang'an black tea.

Wallace's charater is really bad so it is good that he doesn't get much screen time.

It was worth waiting.

So Kunlun Xu is in Hengdian. It is like going to Hollywood for a treasure hunt. The industrial soundtrack made me check for broken pipes in the house. Not to say how annoying female leads are.

One to go and such a cliffhanger. We may have to wait one week to see the finale.

Is the low score caused by frustration that Youku doesn't want to offer a free Nasnjin arc? I am considering paying for those five episodes but I have had a very bad experience with the Youku app before. I paid and the drama I wanted to watch was not available in my region. Is anybody in the US able to watch it?
