You should not come in "school" dramas if you are into romance genre specially into heavy romance. They will never give you your satisfactory romance since most of the school dramas are only focused on friendship, family and life. They are not allowed to put romance in school setting.

What i know Chinese government doesn't allow romance in school setting or any skin ship. This drama is only about their school time no college life So there is no dating/kissing/romance/heavy romance... etc. There is slightly romance like flirting.... I guess you couldn't understand only the last episode. So , in the last , FL found a way to fix all the problems. That was - delete/destroy their (his, her and all of their friends) all memories with her by deleting all the photos in the camera. So after deleting all the photos, all of them didn't remember her anymore and she also didn't remember them anymore. In this way that accident wasn't happened last time because she was not there with them.
But Destiny help them (ML and FL) to meet each other again in that wedding ceremony when she comes back as his friend's wedding planner. They don't remember each other this time. (But they will start their new love story in a new way . It is an open ending so you can think this way.)
