I said the word "pure" cause after knowing SML loved SFL and also SFL started to love SML, FL chose to give up on her feelings but she never chose to destroy their friendship. Even after 2 years when she gave up on him and moved on, still she helped SML to feel good in his bad days. And No, in this time she didn't have any feelings for SML, she said that herself so many times , she just helped him as a best friend so it was pure friendship. Edit - I was quite sad for the 3rd lead couple aka Ou Yang Wen Shan and Jiang HuiZhen after the last episode (24) but later a kind viewer confirmed me about their ending in the special episode.
College : Ep 9 to Ep 34. There is no adult plot between the main leads, only friendship. They were not a couple but were best friends (kind of more than friends but less than lovers). Only the last episode has kisses between the main leads. 2nd lead couple and 3rd lead couple had kisses in the college tho.
