After Tao Tao broke up with HJ, there was 2 years time jump , 2000 to 2002 (in the middle of ep 27, after the new year eve, it was 4 May 2002, YoYo forgot to translate that part).
In that 2 years, HJ started to date that guitar girl. And Tao Tao was secretly talking with a Mystery person on her phone. (They didn't show us who was the Mystery guy). All of her roommates asked her about that guy whom she was talking to on the phone and smiling that much. But she didn't answer (It was Bao Bao we can guess from the last episode).
Bao Bao returned in ep 36 (after 5 years time jump, in 2007) in Le Tao's bachelor party and announced that he was the actual groom (as well as the mystery person) .
